In the recent years, there is an ubiquitous phenomenon all over the society that almost everyone is striving to be a civil servant. As a consequence, the matter has contributed to a great deal of controversy in the society. The public have opposite opinions and argue with each other.

There is no doubt that there must be profound social reasons behind the upsurge of civil servants. As is known to all, civil servants are known as the iron rice bowl of a stable occupation. It seems to many people that national civil service examination is rather justice for the reason that everyone has an equal opportunity. For graduates of cold majors, civil servant is a decent job.

As far as I am concerned, I don't think it's a good trend, especially in the market economy environment. Youngsters should be competent in discovering opportunities so that they can acquire more choices. Merely in this way, will our society be more likely to develop and go ahead.
