时态测试题【考情分析】

这类题是高考英语试题卷核心考题,又是每年高考英语试题卷的必考题,且不少于1题,有的省市试题卷多达2~3题。涉及到时态多为过去时、现在完成时和过去完成时,有时也会考查现在时和将来时。这类题难度为中等,旨在考查考生对时态的正确把握和动作行为先后交互的判断。对时态的应用英语与汉语有很大的差别,所以考生在解题时不能陷入汉语句式的思维套路上去,而应根据句子提供的语境做出准确的判断和抉择.

【考点点津】时态考点分为三个方面:

一是题干的句子没有给出明确的时间状语;

二是题干的句子给出了明确的时间状语;

【应试策略】考生碰到时态题时首先要确定有无明确时间状语,这点非常重要。A.题干句子没出现明确时间状语,所填空格的时态一般提前。如:

1)若句子前后是现在时或将来时,所填空一般多为现在完成时或过去时;

2)若句子前后是一般过去式,所填空格为过去完成时。

B.若题干句子出现明确时间状语,依据英语时态规则进行填空。

1)若从句是一般时,主句通常填将来时或将来进行时;

2)若从句是一般过去时,主句通常填过去将来时。

注:若句子含有表示引导时间状语的介词for或连词since时,遵循英语时态使用规则。请看经典例题

【经典题例1】

【题例精讲】考查时态。该句难点就在于句子前半句是条件从句,时态为一般现在时,后半句祈使句(也称之为无主句)是主句,但是大部分考生会误选B项。其实句中you ordered是定语从句,修饰the drink,意思是“你刚才点的饮料”。英语表述可通过过去时就可以表述行为是以前发生的,而汉语恰恰没这个功能。这就是汉语与英语之间的理解误差所在。这题最佳答案是A。

【经典题例2】

—Guess what, we’ve got our visas for a short-term visit to the UK this summer. — How nice! You a different culture then. (2010-福建)

【题例精讲】考查时态。本题第一句已给出明确时间状语this summer,且第二句的then指的是上一句this summer。此题考查将来进行时,因为句中then 等于just at that time的意思。此句汉语意思为“多好啊,你那个时候就可体验另外一种文化啦。”故这题最佳答案是A。

【经典题例3】

When I got on the bus, I_____ I had left my wallet at home. (2011-山东)

A. was realizing

B. realized

【题例精讲】此题考查时态。前半句“when I got on the bus”为明确的过去时间状语,因此后面的主句应用一般过去时搭配,因为when引导的主从句多表示两个行为动作是在一瞬间交互完成的,而其他三个选项均不合题意。故该题最佳答案为B。

考点2:非谓语测试题

【考情分析】

非谓语测试题是各省市高考英语试题卷的核心考题,是每年各省市高考英语试题卷的必考题,且不少于2题,这类题难度为中等和中等偏难,旨在考查考生对不同的非谓语形式的用途能准确把握和运用。非谓语形式在英语语言结构中功能强大,且可从多角度层面去进行命制,考生对非谓语的用法感到比较棘手难以应付。因此,每年考生在非谓语测试点丢份比较多。

【考点点津】

非谓语考点分四个角度:

1. 过去分词

2. 现在分词

3.不定式

4. 动名词

高考试题命制就是取决于各自语言修饰功能。相对而言,过去分词和不定式的难度较大,考生不易把握。非谓语形式除了不能作句子谓语成分之外,具有多种语法功能,在句中可做主语、宾语、定语、表语、状语或宾语补足语。

【应试策略】

碰到非谓语测试题时,考生必须从非谓语不同形式的用法和在句中的修饰功能去考虑问题,这是至关重要的。

1.过去分词:表示已发生过的行为或既存事实/状态,句中被修饰词语或句子的主语无法充当其动作执行者,为被动语态;

2.现在分词:表示正在发生的动作或行为,也表示当时情景或状态,被修饰词语或句子主语可做该分词的动作执行者,为主动态;

3.不定式:表示即将要做的行为,多用作计划、打算或目的状语,根据其语义功能和被修饰词的特征,确定使用不定式的主动式还是被动式。

4. 动名词:表示事物的功能、用途和特征,在句中充当主语、宾语或定语。【经典题例1】

【题例精讲】

考查非谓语的现在分词形式的用法。依据应试策略2可知,句中smoke可做rise 的动作执行者,如:Smoke rose from behind the house.或Smoke was rising from behind the house.已给出明确时间状语this summer,且第二句的then指的是上一句this summer。这句汉语意思为“他看到的第二件事就是浓烟从房子的后面升起。”表示当时的情景,且smoke可充当rise的动作执行者,故这题最佳答案是B。

【题例精讲】

本题考查非谓语的不定式用法。根据句意和语义功能分析,此处应填不定式,表示事情的目的。此句汉语意思为“根据政府官员的话语的意思,应制作更多电视节目已引起民众对食品安全的关注。”从句子分析看,will be produced表示一种意图或打算,实际行为并没有产生,to raise people’s concern over food safety 在句中充当目的状语,故这题最佳答案是A。

Michael put up a picture of Yao Ming beside the bed to keep himself ________ of his own dreams. (2011-重庆)

【题例精讲】

本题考查非谓语的过去分词形式。从句意和搭配看,此处应填过去分词形式,过去分词与后面的介词短语作科尔皮himself的宾语补足语。再则,keep oneself done是固定搭配,keep oneself结构后面须跟过去分词作宾语补足语。此句意思为“麦考尔把姚明的画像贴在床头,不断提醒要实现自己的梦想。”从句子语言结构分析看,to keep himself reminded of his own dreams在句中做目的状语,但是reminded of his own dreams在句中却是keep himself 的宾语补足语。类似结构还有,如keep ourselves informed(随时保持联系)。故这题最佳答案是B。【经典题例4】

【题例精讲】

本题考查非谓语动词lead。从句意看“leading up to”做定语修饰“path”,意为“通向房子的路”。且path与leading up to the house 实为主谓关系,我们可将该结构改为“…path which leads up to the house”,故用现在分词作后置定语。B 不是非谓语动词,C为过去分词表示被动之意,而“lead to”(通向)只有主动用法,D 不定式表将来未发生。所以本题最佳选项为A。

不用读文章了!只要找到中心,找到出题点,再结合选项的答题特征就找到了!

当然有很多细节,您得到教案就会知道了,比如核对选项时首先核对的是名词: The book is expensive.

The book costs a lot.

两句意思一样,但book没变,所以核对选项是名词为先,要不看不出来选项和出题点是同义替换和句子改写!其他的方法,您照着吴老师教案看就行了.

有时找不到出题点,也看不出与中心沾边怎么办?当然靠答案特征了.

比如:辽宁卷2011年真题阅读理解题的第62题:

62. We can infer that the author of the text is ( ).

A. unprejudiced in his description of cyberschools

B. excited about the future of cyberschools

C. doubtful about the quality of cyberschoois

D. disappointed at the development of cyberschools

大家找不到出题点,都带中心词cyberschools,一般好学生阅读错的话,就会错这道题了,但若您知道6大答案特征只一的"表述的内容前后相互矛盾的是答案! "这一原则就好办了.若再细一点就去核对没一段的首尾句看出现了future,quality, development还是description?选项中答案是A, prejudice使抱偏见,使怀成见,是负面的动词,un-是否定前缀,即为前后矛盾!

所以答案特征是为了做题时,无从下手准备的.
