高中生英语演讲稿范文：广告语 language in advertisement as everybody can see, advertisement has permeated almost every possible area of the world. besides the beautiful pictures and the famous movie or singing stars in the advertisement, language, by all means, is the most important sign vehicle of the verbal part of the advertisement. studying the language in advertisement can always reflect how it affects our modern life. here is a real story that once happened in my math class. mr. yang, our math teacher, wanted to know whether we had understood the main purpose of solving the problem. so he asked us seriously: “our aim is?” in no time, almost everyone replied together: “no decayed teeth!” we burst out laughing then because it was well-known that “our aim is no decayed teeth!” was the language in a toothpaste advertisement! it is just a joke, however it proves the language in advertisement really influences our daily life. obviously, the advertisement aims to attract the customers” attention and to promote sales. a successful advertisement must be apt at creating beautiful image by means of creative language expressions. in this case, there”s no doubt that this advertisement for the toothpaste has achieved this aim. and the possibility that we will buy this brand of toothpaste increases as we can easily remember the vivid language in the advertisement while standing in front of the goods shelves. generally speaking, based on many novel methods, advertisement language has acquired distinctive features: conciseness, vividness and uniqueness. it does make our daily life more colorful and interesting. just as another advertisement goes: “the world is a much better place because of you!”

Hi, everybody, How are you? I am Alexander, a student from School of Foreign Language and Literature. I am glad to come here, glad to give you a speech about gratitude, glad to all of you are willing to hear of me! Thank you! The topic of my speech is that we should be grateful because it is very important for everyone to be grateful. Everybody, include me, are living in this beautiful world now. What we need to do every day, even now, what we are doing? Obviously, we are breathing. And what do we eat and drink every day? Where could we get our food? We eat bread and drink water every day, and both of them come from the earth. In other words, we can say that it is the earth that provides food to us. Also, earth provides many kinds of things for us to use. We should be grateful to the earth at first. We should be grateful to the earth, but how to do to be grateful to the earth? I think we should change our attitude towards the earth and nature at first. We should love the earth, shouldn’t we? Then, we plant some trees on the disserted land to protect our earth. And also, don’t waste our food. Cut down our emissions of used water and air. Could we do it? Yes, we can! If we make our environment a better one, we will be more comfortable when living in this planet. Be grateful to the earth and nature is one hand, on the other hand, we also should be grateful to our parents, teachers, friends, and even some unfamiliar people. Be grateful to our parents, just as they give birth to us, and it is our parent who make us live in a good life. And teachers teach us some knowledge that we do not know and could not know by ourselves before learning it from our teachers. We are always asking some questions to our teachers, but they try their best to give us a good answer patiently. So we should be grateful to them. Besides our parents and teachers, we also should be grateful to our friends who always study together with us. When you are in need, it is your friends that give you a hand as soon as possible. Sometimes, even if we misunderstand them, they still be friendly to us, they still are willing to be friendly to us and to give their help to us. Could we be grateful to our friends? Yes, we can! Parents, teachers, and friends are people who we are familiar with. But should we be grateful to some unfamiliar people? Yes, we should. The reason why I think we should be grateful to them is that they helped us too much though we are not aware of it. In our daily life, we do many kinds of things. Yes, we can. But we could do nothing without others’ help. When you are studying, you need to use books, desks, chairs. Who made them for us to use? If you want to go to a far place but you do not have your own car, what would you do? You need to take bus or train whose driver you did not know, and you would never know them. But they still give their work, which is a kind of service for us, to us. Even now, all of lecture giver, like me, use papers and pens to prepare our own speech, who made them? We do not know because it is unnecessary for us to know who they are but necessary and important to be grateful to them. Should we be grateful to them? Yes, we should. Could we be grateful to them? Yes, we can. So after listening to my speech. Be grateful to people who you don’t know, because a person you meet with on the street, whether it is male or female, whether it is old or young, is the one whose result of work is shared by you and your friends.
