通知

各二级学院:

湖北文理学院与襄阳市图书馆、襄阳市英语角合作举办此次全市范围内的英语演讲大赛。大赛方案如下:

一、大赛目的

为不断深化湖北文理学院大学英语教学改革,有效落实校地合作、服务地方的政策,大力提高学生及市民的英语应用能力,积极促进襄阳市参与国际交流与合作,并最终推动我市经济文化的长足发展,湖北文理学院将与襄阳市图书馆、襄阳市英语角合作举办此次英语演讲大赛。

二、大赛组织

三、大赛日程

本次英语演讲大赛分两赛区、三阶段进行:

湖北文理学院赛区

第一阶段——初赛:

报名:各二级学院组织报名(报名时间:4月7日—4月18)

时间:4月21—4月29(初赛时间)地点:各二级学院

形式:参照决赛形式(定题演讲题目由各二级学院自拟)

比赛结果:通过初赛的前两名选手晋级复赛第二阶段——复赛:

报名:复赛名单由英语角负责人报送大学英语教学部时间:5月14日(复赛时间)地点:大学英语教学部

形式:参照决赛形式(定题演讲题目为大赛主题)比赛结果:通过复赛的前四名选手晋级决赛

第三阶段——决赛:

报名:决赛名单由大学英语教学部公布时间:6月1日(决赛时间)

地点:湖北文理学院(具体地点待定)形式:四个环节

环节1. 定题演讲

时间:3分钟(正负15秒以内)题目:大赛主题

环节2. 即兴演讲回答问题时间:3分钟以内

题目:选手上场前20分钟抽取即兴演讲题目问题:外教提问竞争对手提问环节3. 抽奖

为了回馈决赛的到场观众,本次大赛设置抽奖环节,

由“定题演讲”第一名、“即兴演讲”第一名及决赛一等奖获得者分别在环节1、环节2、及公布总成绩之后抽取一、二、三等奖幸运观众。环节4. 颁奖

五、评分标准

内容要求:结构清晰、中心突出、阐释充分、证据相关、逻辑性强、内容生动。语言要求:语言准确(发音清晰,音调、音高适中,用词准确),语言流利(注意连读、词重音、句重音、语调和节奏等)。

技巧要求:自信,有感情、有气势;注意手势、眼神与肢体语言等。

附表:

六、奖项设置

本次大赛决赛设一、二、三等奖、优胜奖及各单项奖(最佳语音奖、最佳台风奖、最佳组织奖等)。获奖者将被授予荣誉证书、奖金、奖品等奖励。

关于举行2011年校大学英语演讲比赛的通知

为了营造我校良好的英语学习气氛,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,提高学生的英语综合应用能力,决定举办焦作师范高等专科学校大学英语演讲比赛。现将竞赛相关事宜通知如下:一.参赛对象:2010,2011级非英语专业的学生

二. 报名方式:

由各系学生会负责在各教学班级中进行,时间截止至11月14号。

三.比赛方式:

1.演讲比赛分为初赛、决赛二个阶段。

初赛:不命题演讲(3分钟±15秒钟)

决赛:不命题演讲(3分钟±15秒钟)

演讲题目由学生自选,要求演讲内容健康向上,能够体现当代大学生的良好的精神风貌。 2.初赛由各系学生会负责组织,每个系由一位大学英语教研室教师负责评选工作,选拔出的同学将参加复赛。

(各系进入复赛的人数:

文学院 3人,管理学院 1人,政治与社会发展学院2人,物理与电子工程学院 2人,生物与化学工程2人,体育学院 1人,美术学院1人,音乐学院 1人,数学学院 3人,计算机工程学院 2人,教育科学学院 2人,学前教育学院2人)。

四.时间安排:

1.初赛:11月14日——11月21日

2.决赛:12月5日

五奖励办法

从参赛选手中评出一等奖2人、二等奖4人、三等奖6人、优秀奖10人,获奖的同学按照规定进行表彰和奖励并现场颁奖。

一、竞赛时间及地点:

二、竞赛安排:

本次大赛由两部分组成:选手竞赛和颁奖典礼

本次大赛采用当场亮分制,比赛结束后,请参赛选手不要退场,随后将进行颁奖典礼。

三、竞赛形式:

1、不定题演讲方式:每位选手演讲为不定题目演讲(脱稿)。

2、演讲时间为三分钟,选手根据准备好的题目内容演讲。

四、竞赛题目:

题目自定,要求演讲内容积极向上,能够反映出当代大学生的精神风貌。

五、竞赛规则:

1、抽签

参赛选手于12月5日(周一)下午14:00到比赛场地(网艺楼报告厅)抽签决定其参赛次序,未准时到场者由工作人员代为抽取,参赛者不得有异议。并将演讲题目和个人信息进行登记。

2、演讲时间

1)、指定题目演讲时间为三分钟,2分45秒—3分15秒不扣分,超出或不足时间酌情扣0.1~0.5分。

2)、指定时间到有计时人员响铃提示:2分45秒响铃一次,3分钟响铃两次。

3、出场顺序

参赛选手听从工作人员安排,按抽签顺序参加比赛。

2)、致词

3)、主持人说明比赛规则、评分标准及介绍评委

4)、比赛开始第一个选手开始演讲,第二个参赛选手准备。以此类推。

5)、比赛结束,工作人员统计比赛成绩

6)、领导总结

8)、颁奖典礼,大赛结束

1)、评委会组成:

评委会由外语系大学英语教研室全体教师组成。

评委名单:

2)、评委打分:

⑴去掉各单项环节的一个最高分,一个最低分,得出各环节平均分,即为选手总得分。

⑵计分组有三名工作人员,负责成绩计算、核对、亮分及名次排定。

5、评分标准

1)、决赛评分标准:选手评分采取十分制,评委打分保留到小数点后一位。内容 4分语言 3分技巧 3分

总分 10分

2)、内容要求

⑴主题鲜明切题,内容清楚、结构清晰、中心突出,合理展开、阐释充分、证据相关、逻辑性强,内容生动,吸引人,不枯燥,能抓住观众注意力)。⑵演讲人应使用英式英语或美式英语。语言准确(发音清晰准确,音调、音高要合适,选词用词的准确性和相关性),演讲流利(连读,词重音,句重音,语调,节奏)。

⑶技巧:幽默感,手势、眼睛接触与身体语言,自信、有感情与气势;适当修辞手段(比喻,类比等)。

3)、其他

上台不得携带讲稿、字典、工具书或其他有关电子辅助器材。

参加比赛的教学系由学生会主席负责,每个系安排15—20名学生到场为比赛选手加油。

活动目的:为了丰富学生的业余生活,展示学生的风采,增强学生学习英语的兴趣,特举办此次演讲比赛。

赛前准备工作:

一:比赛流程制定以及通知

1、确定比赛时间:初赛: 4月16日晚19:00—21:00

决赛: 4月23 日晚19:00—21:00

地点:成三教室或中心报告厅(根据初赛的效果决定)

2、确定参赛人员名单:全院各班派代表参加。

3、参赛人数要求以及时间限制:每个班选派1~2名选手参赛;每位选手演讲时间限定在3分钟内。

4、制定评分细则;印刷评分表(办公室)。

征文的筛选:由理研部负责征文的筛选工作。

大学英语演讲稿:选择的重要性 Over the past Spring Festival, I got involved in a family dispute. Right before I got home, four satellite channels of CCTV were added to the 14 channels we had already had. In prime time at night, they all had interesting shows. Therefore, the five of us-my parents, my sisters and I-had to argue over what to watch. Finally, we agreed that we should watch the "most interesting" program... If wecould agree what that was. However, all of us there remember that for a long time after we had TV, there were only one or two channels available. The increase in options reveals an important change in our life: the abundance of choice. Fifteen years ago we all dressed in one style and in one color. Today, we select from a wide variety of designs and shades. Fifteen years ago, we read few newspapers. Today, we read English newspapers like the China Daily and the 21st Century, as well as various Chinese newspapers. Fifteen years ago, English majors took only courses in language and literature. Today, we also study Western culture, journalism, business communications, international relations, and computer science. The emergence of choices marks the beginning of a new era in China's history; an era of diversity, of material and cultural richness, and an era of the rebirth of the Chinese nation. We enjoy the abundance of choice. But this has not come easily. About 150 years ago, China was forced to open up its door by Western canons and gunboats. It has been through the struggle and sacrifice of generations that we finally have gained the opportunity to choose for ourselves. The policy of reform and openness is the choice that has made all the difference. Like others of my age, I'm too young to have experienced the time when the Chinese people had no right to choose. However, as the next century draws near, it is time to ask: What does choice really mean to us young people? Is choice a game that relies on chance or luck? Is choice an empty promise that never materializes? Or is choice a puzzle so difficult that we have to avoid it? First, I would like to say: To choose means to claim opportunities. I am a third-year English major. An important choice for me, of course, is what to do upon graduation. I can go to graduate school, at home or abroad. I can go to work as a teacher, a translator, a journalist, an editor and a diplomat. Actually, the system of mutual selection has allowed me to approach almost every career opportunity in China.
