We are pleased to announce that registration for the 2010 SPM Course at Zurich is now open!

HELD ANNUALLY SINCE 2007,

OFFERS A COMPREHENSIVE

COVERAGE OF ALL MRI-RELATED ASPECTS OF SPM, INCLUDING

- Spatial preprocessing & voxel-based morphometry

- Statistical analysis of fMRI data with the General Linear Model - Bayesian analysis methods - Effective connectivity analysis with Dynamic Causal Modeling for fMRI THE FACULTY INCLUDES

- Kay Brodersen (Zurich) - Justin Chumbley (Zurich) - Jean Daunizeau (Zurich)

- Hanneke den Ouden (Nijmegen) - Guillaume Flandin (London) - Lars Kasper (Zurich) - Tom Nichols (London) - Rosalyn Moran (London) - Kerstin Preuschoff (Zurich) - Ged Ridgway (London) - Christian Ruff (London)

- Klaas Enno Stephan (Zurich &

London)

PARTICULAR FEATURES OF THIS COURSE

- coverage of cutting-edge analysis tools in SPM8

- two practical and user-driven sessions (3h each) in small

groups at the computer

-

all presentations are generously timed,

allowing for plenty of questions and in-depth discussions - regular coffee breaks between talks - to keep concentration up and allow for a maximum of interactions amongst participants and faculty

TOPICS

1. Single subject analysis of blocked and event-related fMRI data

2. Batch programming of fMRI data analysis

3. Group analysis of event-related fMRI data

4. Bayesian analyses of fMRI data in SPM

5. Voxel-based morphometry

6. Dynamic Causal Modelling

7. Statistical non-parametric mapping (SnPM)

8. Multivariate methods & decoding

-Coffee break approx. From 16:30 – 16:45, depending on group dynamics

REGISTRATION FOR THE

SPM COURSE 2010

REGISTRATION

In order to ensure small group sizes for the practical sessions,

a maximum of 60 participants will be accepted for this course

on a first-come, first-served basis. The course fee is CHF 750.

We look forward to welcoming you at Zurich!
