今天，老师说用一节半课，去学校东面的茅盾广场上还没有完工的建筑工地上去烧野火饭。同学们都很高兴。

终于等到了下午的第二节下课，我们马上冲出教室来到办公室拿了放在那里的野炊用具和米、豆、肉等物品，还有柴火，成群结队地来到广场上。

那里杂草丛生。我们立刻动手搭起了灶头。然后，把锅子放上去。我看到大小合适，就开始动手烧火。

我负责烧火。我先用打火机把报纸点燃，然后我把烧着的报纸放到灶肚里面。接着，我放了一些稻草进去。报纸烧着了稻草，火立刻旺了起来。接着，我放树棒，木柴进去。我把这一些柴都架空。因为我知道柴架空了才能够烧得着，烧得旺。火越烧越旺，火光冲天。一些顽皮的火苗从砖头缝中探出头来张望。我忙用扇子把它们赶进灶肚里，省得它们出去闯祸。

水烧了一会儿，我把青豆、香肠、笋、咸肉等东西放到锅子里。接着我把糯米放进去。这时，锅子里面的东西已经满得快要放不下了差一点都要掉出来了。一个同学帮我烧火。我们两个人又一起烧了一会儿，一股豆饭的香味冲了出

来。我揭开锅盖看到放进去的东西和前面刚放进去的一样，还在上面，还是生的。我立刻去叫来老师请教怎么办。老师说：“你们放的东西太多了，水少了一点。”说着，他帮我们盛出了一些米，放了一些水进去。我又继续烧火。

又过了一会儿，教师说：“可以把火灭了，让它焖一会儿。你们就可以吃了。”过了一会儿，我们把锅子拿回教室再分来吃。

揭开锅盖，我看到上面的饭比较好，越到下面越焦，简直不能够吃了。因为最下面的竟然成了黑炭了。
