4 Properties

4.1 Mechanical properties

The mechanical properties of the parts must be according to the heat treatment required in the corresponding drawing. If no requirements are indicated in the drawing, the following requirements have to be fulfilled.

Parts made from steels according to JED-697-0 and JED-697-2 must be suited for resistance welding.

The material and the finished parts must correspond to the technical conditions of delivery defined in JED-622.
