During most of the day the bridge sat with its length running up and down the river paralleled with the banks, allowing ships to pass thru freely on both sides of the bridge. He left the bridge turned across the river, and hurried across the bridge to the other side of the river wherre there was a lever switch he could hold to operate the lock manually. He would have to hold the lever back firmly as the train crossed. He could hear the rumble of the train now, and he took hold of the lever and leaned backward to apply his weight to it, locking the bridge. He kept applying the pressure to keep the mechanism locked. Many lives depended on this man's strength.Then, coming across the bridge from the direction of his control shack, he heard a sound that made his blood run cold. "Daddy, where are you?" His four-year-old son was crossing the bridge to look for him. His first impulse was to cry out to the child, "Run! Run!" But the train was too close; the tiny legs would never make it across the bridge in time. The man almost left his lever to run and snatch up his son and carry him to safety. But he realized that he could not get back to the lever. Either the people on the train or his little son must die. He took a moment to make his decision.The train sped safely and swiftly on its way, and no one aboard was even aware of the tiny broken body thrown mercilessly into the riverby the onrushing train. 我在执教本课时,着眼于故事本身,巧设故事前因,运用多种方式进行续编故事,阅读新故事等拓展活动,让学生的英语语言综合运用能力逐步提升。
教学片段一:歌曲热身,游戏激趣。
课件呈现歌曲视频What would you like for dinner,视频中两人以说唱的形式回答,歌曲部分内容如下:I’m hungry, too.What would you like for dinner tonight? I’d like a hamburger…由于歌曲旋律轻快,动感十足,学生很快能随着音乐一起说唱,同时模仿视频人物的肢体动作,气氛热烈。
之后,教师顺势问学生:What would you like for dinner?学生自由回答。
随后,我射界了一个抓单词游戏。
课件先呈现了一个光圈,在动感音乐中,光圈中心迅速出现食物类图片和单词,之后迅速消失,在食物出现时,让学生伸出双手做抓食物的动作,并读出单词。
教学片段二:整体输入,提取信息。
两次播放故事视频,内容时故事的前五幅图。
第一次播放视频时在学生猜测Zip点餐内容后,带着自己的疑问观看视频,找出点了什么菜,教师根据学生的回答在菜单上勾选菜名。
第二次播放视频时,学生需要找出第一次,第二次,第三次点餐时分别点了什么菜。
本节课教学目标明确,设计合理,内容童趣,紧紧围绕故事本身展开教学,真正体现了故事课的故事味。
给予对故事教学的理解和对本节课的反思,我觉得故事课教学应注意以下几点:第一,故事主体倒入要有趣,以趣味激发学生的学习兴趣。

新课程对小学英语课的要求不同于以往。
往常的英语课上,只要学生的活动丰富,教师设计操练单词或句型的形式多样、活泼,学生能很快掌握,便是一堂好课。
而现在,评价一堂好课的标准则是能否在课堂上尽可能多地向学生输入与之认知水平相当的英语信息。
但这些信息并不是杂乱的、毫无目的的,而是所有与本单元主要教学内容相关联的、一切能够运用的已知的信息。
为了避免枯燥的语言学习,每个教学环节加上一个适当的任务,让学生在完成任务的过程中,感知语言,运用语言。
由于环境的需要,教学中我借助了云教育平板教学,使用绘本故事、导学案和任务型教学的方式带领学生进入真实的语言环境。

在这个过程中,他们就会争先恐后地回应队友的求助,表达自己的能力和意愿(I am strong. Let me help you.)。
这一游戏的设计实现了“玩中学”和“学中玩”的统一。
