Good morning, everyone! I’m Li Xiaoming, from Chengxiang Middle School. It is my great honor to have this opportunity to talk about my teaching ideas. My presentation consists of seven parts ：

Ⅰ.Analysis of material
This is Section B ,Topic 3, Unit 4 of Book1 from Ren’ai Project English for the seventh-grade students. Such a topic is related to our daily life, so it is easy to arouse the Ss’learning interests.
In Section A,we have known how to talk about time ,the usage of past and to ,half and quarter and so on .In this section ,it mainly
tells us Ka ngkang’s day and how to express sb’s preferences and daily routines. The main contents of this lesson are the following sentence structure:

Ⅱ. Analysis of students
The students have already studied English for about four months. They are curious, active, and fond of game, competition, and various activities. They enjoy learning through cooperation in a relaxing atmosphere. But they are lack of confidence in speaking in public . So, the teacher would better create English atmosphere to make them do more practice. If the students have some difficulty in understanding, the teacher should use pictures, gestures, or even in Chinese to explain if necessary.
Ⅲ. Teaching objectives:
①Knowledge objectives:
(1)By the end of this class, Ss can listen, speak, read, and write clever，animal，hour, today, later, It’s time to…，get up, have breakfast，go home，go to the zoo, etc.
(2) By the end of this class, students can ask and answer the time using: What time is it now? ---It is….
(3) By the end of this class, students can ask and answer a person’s preferences using:What’s your favorite animal? ---It’s …
⑷By the end of this class, students can retell Kangkang’s day : Kangkang gets up at a quarter past six in the morning…
②. Ability objectives:
(1) Learn to observe an animal and describe it. Then make a conversation in groups.
(2) Ss can talk about the experience of a day with their friends
(3) Try to keep a diary in English.
③.Emotional objectives:
(1) According to talking about time, make the Ss save time.
(2) According to observing animals in the zoo, make the Ss care for animals, love nature and protect the environment. Harmonize the relationship between human and nature.
⑶Develop the spirit of cooperation through teamwork and
pair-discussion
④. Cultural understanding:
According to studying this lesson ,Ss can know American's concept of time, the difference between Chinese and English.

There are six steps in my teaching procedures. But before teaching, I will divide the whole class into 4 groups to do competitions while finish different tasks in this lesson
