幼师英语unit 9

Establish reasonable consequences. It is important to teach children to use appropriate language. However, this teaching takes time. Some children will need the added incentive of consequences to help them stop using the forbidden words. The consequence should be reasonable and carefully tied to the behavior. For example, if a child uses unacceptable language around other children, the child may need to play alone for 15 minutes. If a child continually swears while completing a project, he may need to put the project away until the next day. Children who repeatedly use words to shock their teachers may need to tell their parents what words they said. Try to have the children set their own consequences. You will probably have to tone them down a bit. It’s not reasonable to stay out of an activity for a week! However, young people are more likely to accept consequences they have established for themselves.

Aesthetic expression is natural and spontaneous for some children. Children can create sounds, move their fingers through the sand, and draw on frost windows. A setting needs to foster children’s natural drive to imagine, create, and express.
Aesthetics is an essential part of the curriculum.
An early childhood program caters to aesthetics with consideration for the ways that children experience the world with their senses. Surround children with many opportunities to appreciate and to explore the favorable aspects of their world: the sights and sounds.
While eating, the woman picked up her order slip and saw her mistake. She had written “chicken sandwich”, not “chicken salad sandwich”. When it was time to pay for the meal, she said she was sorry to the waiter and offered to pay for both sandwiches. The waiter said, “No, ma’am. that’s perfectly all right. I’m just happy you know I was right and you still like me.”
When the waiter brought the chicken sandwich, she was very angry and yelled at the waiter for making this mistake.
