instead意为“代替”“替代”,作副词用,通常位 于句尾。如位于句首时常用逗号与后面阁开。
instead of是介宾短语,其意与instead相同,不同之 处在于它后面常接宾语,起宾语多由名词、代词、 动词 + ing 形式充当。

2. 特殊疑问句 :由特殊疑问词加上被动语态 的一般疑问句构成。 When must this task be finished? 这项任务必须在什么时候完成? 3. 否定句: 在情态动词后面加上not或never 即可,但must表"必要"时否定式为needn't。 This task needn't be finished at once. 这项任务没必要立即完成。
