随着网络的发展传统图书馆是否还有存在的必要英语作文

随着网络的发展传统图书馆是否还有存在的必要英语作文It is often argued that public libraries have become redundant not needed or useful because of the easy availability of information online. However, I totally disagree with this idea.It is true that all information known to the mankind is now available on the internet.Internet accessibility has also improved over the years. However, this does not mean that public libraries are no longer needed.Libraries are much more than mere access points for books and information. They serve some other purposes as well. For example, libraries provide a quiet environment where one can read and learn. Distractions of everyday life can kill the joy of reading. Libraries offer a solution to this problem. Also, when you are in an environment where everyone is reading, you will also be motivated to get your reading done. This may not be possible at home, even if you can find the same reading material online. The internet is a vast pool of information but if you do not know what you are looking for, it is nearly impossible to find relevant information online. Libraries, on the other hand, make research easier by grouping books on a particular topic together. Even if you do not know anything about a given topic, you will still be able to find relevant information on that topic. Today’s libraries also provide access to computers and tablets so that users can search online if they need more information on a topic.Internet accessibility may have improved over the years, but there are still millions of people who do not have access to the internet. Public libraries are the only sources of information for them. If libraries were to die, they would be in trouble. To conclude, despite the existence of all information online, libraries are still important because they provide an environment conducive(making it easy, possible or likely for something to happen to reading and learning.。

信息时代还需要图书馆吗英语作文全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1Do We Still Need Libraries in the Information Age?Do you know what a library is? It's a place full of books! Books about any topic you can imagine – dinosaurs, dragons, spaceships, and more. My school has a library and I love going there to find new books to read. But some people think that with the internet, we don't need libraries anymore. I disagree! The internet is great for finding information quickly. If I need to know what the capital of France is or how to spell a tricky word, I can just ask my parents' phone. But there's so much more to libraries than just finding facts. Libraries are worlds of adventure and imagination waiting to be explored through books.I love getting lost in a good book. When I'm reading, the world around me disappears and I travel to wherever the story takes place. One minute I'm fighting dragons in a medieval fantasy realm, the next I'm blasting off in a rocket ship to explore alien planets! The characters become my friends and I cheer them on through their exciting journeys.Sure, you can read books online too. But there's something special about holding a real book in your hands and turning the pages yourself. I like seeing the illustrations big and colorful, not tiny on a screen. Reading a physical book is a completely different experience from staring at a glowing tablet or computer. It's more fun and magical. At my school library, there's a corner with beanbags where I can curl up and get transported to distant lands just by opening a book's cover. The library is a cozy, quiet space designed for reading, not getting distracted by TVs, games, or websites like at home. My librarian helps me discover books I'll love based on other ones I've enjoyed. She's kind of like a book matchmaker!Libraries also have much more than just books. My library has computers to research topics for homework, a maker space with art supplies and building toys, and they even run fun activities like reading clubs and author visits. The librarians are kind of like teachers too – they help us learn to love reading and use resources responsibly. Some kids might think libraries are boring and outdated. But I think they're filled with endless possibilities for adventure and learning, if you give them a chance. Anyone who loves escapinginto the pages of a book knows that libraries are still amazing places in the information age.So what do you think? Should we get rid of libraries just because we have the internet? Or are they still valuable spaces for feeding our imaginations and curiosities? Personally, I don't want to live in a world without libraries. They're gateways to incredible stories, knowledge, and experiences that no website can replace. Libraries rock!篇2Do We Still Need Libraries in the Information Age?Hi there! My name is Emma and I'm going to tell you all about whether we still need libraries now that we have computers and the internet. It's a really interesting question that a lot of people are wondering about.I used to think that libraries were kind of old-fashioned and not really needed anymore since we can just look stuff up online. But then I started going to my school library and my local public library more, and I realized how awesome libraries actually are!First of all, I love being around all those books. Whenever I go to the library, I'm surrounded by hundreds and hundreds of books on every topic you can imagine. History books, sciencebooks, art books, comic books, poetry books, joke books, and way more! It's like a treasure trove of knowledge and stories. Sure, you can find some books online, but it's not the same as holding a real book in your hands and turning the pages. At my school library, we have time every week to just explore the shelves and check out books that look interesting. Sometimes I'll find the most random books about subjects I didn't even know existed. Like this one time, I found an entire book about different kinds of rocks and minerals. I never knew there was so much to learn about rocks before that! Getting exposed to new topics like that has really helped me discover new interests.Another great thing about libraries is that the librarians are super knowledgeable and can always help you find what you're looking for. My school librarian, Mrs. Adams, knows everything about every book we have. If I'm looking for books on a certain subject like ancient Egypt or coding, she can guide me right to the best books. She's also really good at recommending books she thinks I'll enjoy based on other books I've liked. The librarians are like human search engines but even better!Speaking of searching, libraries also provide computers and internet access which is really important for kids who might nothave a computer at home. At my public library, there are desktop computers you can use for free as well as printers, scanners and quiet study areas. They even offer computer classes to help people learn things like typing, using Microsoft Office, or how to code. My uncle took a coding class at the library and now he's studying computer science in college!Libraries these days do a lot more than just lend out books too. They have reading clubs, arts and crafts activities, writing workshops, storytimes for little kids, and even things like yoga classes or workshops on how to apply for jobs. My library had a visiting author do a book reading last month which was really cool to see an actual author in person. There's always something fun and interesting going on.And libraries aren't just for kids! I see all kinds of people using the library like students doing research, families playing games or reading together, or grown-ups using the computers or checking out books. They're community spaces where everyone is welcome.Maybe most importantly, libraries make knowledge and opportunities available to everyone for free, regardless of how much money you have. You just need a library card! If you can't afford internet, cable tv, a computer, textbooks, or even books athome, the public library provides all of that. It helps make education and lifelong learning more equal and accessible.I know I've only scratched the surface here, but I hope I've convinced you that libraries are just as important and valuable today as they've always been, despite the internet and technology. While it's cool that we can access so much information online now, libraries offer so much more than just googling something. They're magical places full of opportunity, knowledge, and adventure just waiting to be explored.Whether it's curling up with a good book, discovering a new hobby, getting help from a librarian, or having a fun experience like an author visit, libraries play an invaluable role in our communities. Libraries aren't just about books, they're about opening doors for people. Maybe after reading this, you'll go check out your local library soon and see for yourself! Thanks for reading, and happy exploring!篇3Do We Still Need Libraries in the Information Age?Hey there, friends! Have you ever wondered if libraries are still important nowadays, with so much information available online? Well, let me tell you my thoughts on this topic!First of all, what even is a library? It's a place filled with books, magazines, and all sorts of cool stuff that can teach us new things. Libraries have been around for a really, really long time –even before computers and the internet existed!Back in the old days, if you wanted to learn about something, you had to go to the library and find a book on that topic. It was the only way to get information easily. But now, with just a few clicks on our computers or phones, we can find out almost anything we want to know on the internet. So, you might be thinking, "Why do we still need libraries when we have the internet?"Well, let me tell you why I think libraries are still super important, even in this modern age of technology.Reason #1: Not Everything is on the InternetBelieve it or not, there's a lot of information that isn't available online. Sure, the internet has a ton of stuff, but it doesn't have everything. Libraries have books, magazines, and other resources that you can't find anywhere else. Plus, the information in libraries has been carefully checked and verified, so you know it's accurate and reliable.Reason #2: Libraries are Quiet and PeacefulHave you ever tried to study or read at home, but there were too many distractions like TV, video games, or siblings running around? Libraries are designed to be quiet and peaceful places where you can focus without any interruptions. It's the perfect environment for studying, reading, or just thinking and relaxing.Reason #3: Libraries Have Awesome Programs and EventsLibraries aren't just about books anymore. They often have really cool programs and events for kids and adults alike. You can attend storytimes, book clubs, art classes, movie nights, and even coding workshops! It's a great way to learn new things and meet people who share your interests.Reason #4: Librarians are Super HelpfulLibrarians are like superheroes when it comes to finding information. They know the library inside and out, and they can help you find exactly what you're looking for, whether it's a book on a specific topic or an answer to a tricky question. They're experts at research and can guide you through the process of finding reliable sources.Reason #5: Libraries are Free! This is one of the best things about libraries – they're completely free to use! You can borrow books, use thecomputers, attend events, and take advantage of all the resources without spending a single penny. In a world where everything seems to cost money, having free access to so much knowledge and entertainment is truly amazing. So, even though we live in an age where information is at our fingertips, libraries are still incredibly valuable and important. They offer resources, quiet spaces, programs, helpful librarians, and best of all, it's all free! Whether you're a student working on a project, an adult looking to learn a new skill, or just someone who loves to read, libraries have something for everyone.Don't forget to visit your local library and see all the wonderful things it has to offer. Who knows, you might just discover your new favorite book or join an awesome club! Libraries are truly magical places, and I hope they'll be around for many, many years to come.篇4Do We Still Need Libraries in the Information Age?Hi there! My name is Emma and I'm a 4th grader. Today, I want to talk about something important - libraries! You might be wondering, "With so much information available online these days, do we really still need libraries?" Well, let me tell you why Ithink libraries are just as valuable and necessary now as they've ever been.First of all, I love going to the library because it's like a magical place full of endless adventures waiting to be discovered through books! Sure, you can read books online or on devices like e-readers. But there's something really special about holding a real book in your hands, feeling the pages, and smelling that wonderful book smell. Nothing can ever replace that experience for me.At the library, I can wander through the aisles and aisles of bookshelves and let my eyes and fingers guide me to the perfect book. Sometimes I know exactly what kind of book I want, like a fun mystery or an exciting fantasy story. Other times, I just browse until a book catches my eye. You never know what amazing stories or fascinating facts you might stumble upon!Another great thing about libraries is that they have such a huge variety of books to choose from. The online world has lots of information too, but it can sometimes be hard to find exactly what you're looking for. Libraries make it easy by organizing everything so nicely into different sections. Whether I'm looking for a how-to book to learn an new skill or the latestjaw-dropping fact book about space or animals, I know the library will have something perfect waiting for me.Speaking of variety, libraries also have tons of other resources beyond just books. They have movies, music, magazines, newspapers, and even video games! My library also has computers that I can use for homework or just to explore fun educational websites. Some libraries even have really cool stuff like 3D printers, robots, and virtual reality headsets. How awesome is that?Libraries aren't just about the resources though. They're also amazing spaces that bring communities together. My local library always has special events and activities happening like story times for little kids, coding clubs, art classes, book clubs, and more. It's a place where people of all ages can come together, learn new things, and share their love of knowledge and creativity.Another reason why I think libraries are so important, especially these days, is that they provide access to information for everyone, regardless of someone's circumstances. Not everyone can afford to buy a lot of books or have internet access at home. Libraries make sure that everyone has the opportunity to read, learn, explore their interests, and satisfy their curiosityfor free. To me, that's just such an incredible service that libraries provide.I could go on and on about why I adore libraries, but I think you get the idea! Yes, the world has changed a lot with all the new technology and ways to access information. However, libraries have changed and adapted right along with it. They've added new resources while still keeping all the wonderful things about traditional libraries that make them so special and valuable.Maybe someday, if we can put entire libraries worth of information into a tiny chip in our brains, then actual libraries might no longer be needed. But until then, I'll always love visiting my local library. It's a magical place where adventures await, knowledge flourishes, and people come together. Kind of makes you want to grab a book and start reading, doesn't it? See you at the library!篇5Do We Still Need Libraries in the Information Age?Hi everyone! My name is Timmy and I'm 10 years old. Today, I want to talk about libraries and whether they are still needed intoday's digital world where we have the internet. This is an important topic that many people are discussing.Well, in my opinion, libraries are just as valuable and useful now as they were many years ago before computers and the internet existed. While it's true that we can find lots of information online these days, libraries offer so much more than just books and websites.First off, let me tell you why I love going to the library. It's a peaceful, quiet place where I can concentrate on my schoolwork or get lost in the amazing worlds described in the books I borrow. There are cozy reading nooks, big tables to spread out my stuff, and friendly librarians who are always happy to help me find what I need. It's like a magical learning space! At home, I have to deal with my annoying little sister making noise, the TV blaring in the other room, and a million other distractions. But at the library, it's just me, the books, and peace and quiet to focus. That's something you can't really get on the internet or by reading digital books on a device at home.Speaking of books, while e-books are convenient, there's nothing quite like holding an actual book in your hands and turning the pages. I love the smell of books and getting lost in their stories without any digital distractions nearby. Librarieshave THE BEST book collections too - from classic novels to comics to books about sports stats and everything in between. No matter what I'm interested in, I can find fascinating reads at the library.Libraries also have lots of other amazing resources that aren't available with a simple internet search. Many have movie nights, reading contests, coding classes, guest speaker events, and more. Some even have cool things like 3D printers, robots, and videogame lounges! At my library, they teach fun arts & crafts projects and hold science fairs where we can explore our curiosities. It's such an awesome place for learning and discovering new interests. Most importantly though, libraries provide a safe community space where anyone can go to learn, explore topics they're curious about, and get help from kind librarians who know pretty much everything! The internet has lots of information, sure, but it can also be full of misinformation, inappropriate content, or stuff that's just plain confusing for kids. Libraries have high-quality resources that are vetted and kid-friendly.I have friends who aren't allowed on the internet much at home because their parents worry about them encountering the wrong stuff online. But their parents are totally comfortableletting them spend hours reading & learning at the local library. It's a trusted space for families. Also, not every family can afford internet access or digital devices at home. Libraries provide free computer & internet access so that everyone in the community can learn, do homework, apply for jobs, and just be part of the digital world. Without libraries, many kids wouldn't have equal opportunities to grow and learn. Now, I know what some people might be thinking - "Libraries are outdated and we don't need physical buildings of books anymore since digital is taking over." But I don't think that's true at all! Yes, technology is awesome and I like having digital books. But there will always be something special about libraries that the internet can't replicate.Libraries are places that bring communities together through shared resources and experiences. They spark curiosity, inspire creativity, and help us learn in interactive ways. They're modern-day centers of learning that evolve with the times while still preserving the wonderful traditions of speaking, reading, and exploring knowledge. So in my opinion, libraries are definitely still super relevant and important, even in today's digital age. They just keep gettingbetter by combining resources from books and technology. I feel lucky to have a amazing library in my neighborhood and I hope libraries stick around forever! Every town should have one because they make learning fun and open opportunities for anyone who wants to grow. Thanks for reading my essay! I'd love to hear what you think about the role of libraries too. Let's keep making them awesome community spaces for generations to come.。

With the convenience of the internet and digital devices, many people now wonder if libraries are still necessary in this digital age. However, I believe that libraries are still important in the information age for several reasons.First and foremost, libraries provide access to a wide range of resources that may not be readily available online. While the internet is a vast source of information, it is not always reliable or accurate. This ensures that library users have access tohigh-quality information that they can trust.Additionally, libraries serve as community spaces where people can come together to learn, collaborate, and engage with others. In an age where many people spend hours each day staring at screens, libraries offer a physical space where people can interact face-to-face. This social aspect of libraries isimportant for building connections and fostering a sense of community.Furthermore, libraries play a crucial role in preserving and archiving knowledge for future generations. While digital information can be easily deleted or lost, physical books and other materials stored in libraries are more durable andlong-lasting. By collecting and preserving these materials, libraries help ensure that important knowledge is not lost to future generations. In conclusion, I believe that libraries are still important in the information age. Should The Library Exist?
Recently we've had a discussion about whether we should keep the traditional library. Our opinions are divided on this topic.
Quite a few individuals hold a view that we don't need libraries anymore in information age. On the one hand, a growing number of people are used to downloading electronic books to their mobile phones or USB flash drives. There is no denying the fact that digital library is more protable and shortcut than traditional ones. On the other hand, traditional libraries need plenty of storage spaces and more humankind resources. The quality of service is easily affected by humanity factors. Furthermore, provided that we replace traditional libraries with online bookstore, they consider we will get more green in breath.
Nevertheless, others don't think so. They believe that the library will play a vast action. For one thing, electronic products are extremely harmful to our eyes. For another, libraries can create a quiet atmosphere. It let the outside impetuous and noisy are insulated so that the heart feels calm.
Everything has two sides and traditional library is not an exception, which has both pros and cons. From my own perspective, I claim the library is beneficial for us.
