It has been 57 years since the birth of the Inne r Mongolia Autonomous Region on May 1st, 1947. Dominated by the Mongolian nationali ty, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is located on the northern frontier of China. T he Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region occupies an area of 1.18 million square kilometers and has a population of about 20 million people who represent a score of different natio nalities. Every time when people talk about Inner Mongolia, they’ll come down to the vas t grassland. Yes, the Inner Mongolian prairie area makes up a quarter of the total grasslan d area of the country. On the boundless expanse of the Inner Mongolian prairie are living numerous sheep, Cattle and horses, on which our Mongolian have lived for generations. That is why the grassland is eul ogized as ―cradle of life‖. There are two vast grasslands i n my hometown—Hulun Buir Grasslands and Xilin Gol Grasslands which are both world-f amous regions. People in Inner Mongolia are famous for their bravery, enthusiasm and ho spitality. No mater where y ou are from, as long as you come to a herdsman’s house, you will be warmly entertained with roasted whole lamb and milk tea, and what’s more, you can also appreciate beautiful Mongolian songs and elegant dances. It is not exaggerating to say Mongolians are born singers and dancers. The moment you set your feet on the gr assland areas you will discover it is indeed a real land of songs and dances.Today’s Inner Mongolia still maintains her ethnic characteristics and at the dame t ime, she tries to keep pace with the development of the modern world. Ordus is a world wide well-known brand, Yili and Mengniu are both the famous dairy industries, which ha ve greatly improved the living standard of our Mongolian people. And I’m sure, our Mon golian people will make great effort to contribute to our hometown. As a college student, I know quite clearly that my mission is to master solid knowledge and one day do good to my beloved hometown.我的家乡——内蒙古早上好，女士们先生们，今天我想给大家介绍一下我的家乡——内蒙古。

内蒙古自治区区自1947年5月1日成立以来，已有57年的历史了。

坐落在中国北部边陲的内蒙古自治区是一个以蒙古族为主的地区。

它拥有118万平方公里的土地面积，2000万来自不同民族的人民共同居住在这里。

每当人们谈到内蒙古都会想到辽阔的草原，是的，内蒙古的草原面积占全国总草原面积的1/4。

成群的羊儿，牛儿和马儿生活在这片无边无际的草原上，是它们养育了世世代代的草原儿女，因此，草原也被赞颂为―生命的摇篮‖。

我们的家乡有两大世界著名的草原——呼伦贝尔大草原和锡林郭勒大草原。

蒙古族是一个勇敢、热情、好客的民族，如果你去到牧民的家里，无论你来自哪儿，热情的牧民都会用烤全羊和奶茶款待你，同时，你还可以欣赏到优美的蒙古族歌舞。

蒙古族人民天生能歌善舞，这一点儿也不夸张，在你踏上草原的那一刻，你就会发现这确实是一片歌舞的海洋。

今天的内蒙古仍然保留着她的民族特色，同时，她还时刻紧跟时代的步伐。

鄂尔多斯是闻名世界的知名品牌，伊利和蒙牛两大乳业集团是内蒙古经济发展的支柱产业。

我相信，草原人民一定会继续努力为家乡的发展做出贡献，作为一名大学生，我会掌握好扎实的知识，回报我可爱的家乡。

大学生英语演讲稿23 I can hadle it二十三、郭洋，26岁，四川I can hadle itI can never forget the summer in 1996. I went through an extremity of despair d ue to my failure in the National College Entrance Examination. It seemed that my dream of being a university student would never come true. One evening my father came and to ld me the story of Steven Callahan, who was crossing the Atlantic alone in his sailboat when it struck something and sank. It was a miracle that he survived and was found 76 days later(the longest anyone has survived a shipwreck on a life raft alone). Later in his narrative he wrote these sentences ―I tell myself I can handle it .Compared to what others have been through I’m fortunate‖.Hearing these sentences I felt something important struck me. I belived my life w ould mot be that bad and it was proved to be true. Later during my study in the universi ty I always told myself ―I can handle it‖ when my own goals seemed far off or when m y problems seemed too overwhelming and every time I said it ,I always came back to m y senses.Now I work as an English teacher in a middle school. Whenever my students co mplain about their difficulties in study or want to give up, I will tell the same story of Callahan to them. I just want to make them believe they can handle their difficulties beca use their circumstances are only bad compared to something better. But others have been through much worse. Then they will build up fortitude.So here, coming to us from the extreme edge of survival, are words that can give us strength. Whatever you’re going through, tell yourself you can handle it. Compared to what others have been through, you’re fortunate. Tell this to yourself over and over, and it will help you get through the rough spots with little more fortitude.我能挺过去的我永生难忘1996年的夏天。
