此结构表示“使……保持……”。该结构的常见形式有以下几种：

⑴keep + sb./sth. + 形容词/副词

⑵keep + sb./sth. + 名词

I want to keep the thing a secret between us.

⑶keep + sb./sth. + 介宾短语

You should keep your hands behind your backs.

A cold kept him in bed for a week.

⑷keep + sb./sth. + 现在分词（表示主动或状态的延续）
