今天，我要讲的主题是“住机会，做真正的自己”。
我相信，在座的很多人都已经听说过我的名字——林书豪。
我是一名在NBA打球的华裔球员，也是中国和亚洲篮球界的代表人物。
但是，在我成为这个样子之前，我也经历了很多困境和挑战。
我曾经是一名没有任何名气的低级别球员，甚至有一次被球队裁掉了。
但是，正是因为我不断地创造机会，不断地持之以恒地努力，我最终得到了机会，迈向了成功。
而我所想分享的，也是希望能够激励更多的人，在自己的人生之路上，做真正的自己。
我们要学会发掘自己的潜力。
每个人都有自己的特质和才能。
我们不能一味地按照别人的标准，去要求自己。

我今天想聊一聊什么叫“坚持不懈”，及其“坚持不懈”有哪些实际意义。
小故事要从我还是小孩的情况下谈起，我是在国外成长的。
在国外，一个亚籍的小孩打蓝球并不寻常，应当说成一件挺奇怪的事。
我还记得大约五六年级的情况下参与过一场篮球赛，那一天有一个人恨不能扑到我头顶，他不断地说一些种族问题得话，还恶毒地帮我起各种各样绰号，例如：“回到我国，这个我国小百货”这类的。
我清晰地记得我那时候的体会，真的是非常非常的恼怒和伤心，我那时候特想爆捶他一顿，但这决不是个好点子。
别学我，我觉得这或许就是我第一次跟“艰难”零距离单杀，之后我略微成长一点。
我还记得那时候我父母本来是十分期待我学习钢琴的，可是我对弹琴确实无感觉，因此从不好好地练。
每一年要举行音乐会的情况下，我也拿上年弹过的同一首歌曲出去欺骗一下，自然这也代表着我每一年都是在原地踏步走，因此我询问妈妈：我确实讨厌弹琴，我能否打蓝球呢?她们竟然愿意了，而且大力支持我，花了大把的時间和钱财，要我飞着打篮球赛直播。
結果她们遭受了身旁盆友的提出质疑和嘲笑，包含大家这一小区别的亚籍小孩的父母对于此事也不足为据。

我记得大概五六年级的时候参加过一场篮球比赛,那天有个人恨不得扑到我头上,他不停地说一些种族歧视的话,还恶毒地给我起各种外号,比如说：“滚回中国,你这个中国小商品”之类的.我清楚地记得我当时的感受,真的是非常非常的愤怒和难过,我当时很想爆捶他一顿,但这绝不是个好主意.别学我,我想这也许是我第一次跟“困难”面对面单挑,后来我稍微长大一点.
我记得当时我爸妈原本是非常希望我学钢琴的,但是我对弹钢琴实在无感,所以从来不好好练.每年要举办演奏会的时候,我就拿去年弹过的同一首曲子出来糊弄一下,当然这也意味着我每年都在原地踏步,于是我问老妈：我实在不喜欢弹钢琴,我能不能打篮球呢他们居然同意了,并且全力支持我,花了大把的时间和金钱,让我飞来飞去打篮球联赛.结果他们遭到了身边朋友的质疑和取笑,包括我们这个社区其他亚裔孩子的家长对此也颇有微词.这也是第一次我意识到这不仅仅是我自己的生活,这是我必须和身边的人一起走过的一段旅程,它的艰难之处在于你身边的人会因此而取笑你,大家觉得你一定是疯了.

你想一想,整个赛季你玩儿命地打,你苦哈哈地打,从一个城市飞到另外一个城市,不停地打,可是就在一刹那、一个失误情势急转直下,整个赛季的航线都变了,看上去好像一切都完蛋了,所有压力一下子都砸在我的肩膀上.那个晚上,也许是自从我被球队裁掉之后,最最难熬的一夜,我记得我失眠了,我茫然不知所措,我觉得非常的沮丧.我只记得我开始沉思,我对自己说,你知道么,很多时候事情是不会按照你预期的方向去发展的,但是只要我自己尽了全力,而且全心全意地追随你内心的声音,就无须自责,我一定能挺过这关.
回看休斯顿的这一年,我的状态的确下降了、我的得分下降、篮板下降了、助攻下降了、抢断下降了,但是我自己真真切切体会到了一点,那就是我变得更加成熟了,正如你们所知我刚刚被转会到了湖人队,现在我可以梳理一下在我脑海里面发生的事情,我被交易的过程,这一切到底是怎么发生的,还有我的感受.当时我在北京,那是凌晨两点,我正在酒店里呼呼大睡,我的手机突然响了.
