Two sugars and two cream.
2. Let's grab something to eat!
You will become their midnight snack.

9. I am up to my ears
一般情況下如果只要說吃飽了, 可以說 I am stuffed, 或是 I am full. I am up to my ears. I am up to my throat.
5. One pitcher, cheap stuff.
I want a can of beer, Bud Light.

As the new year rolls in, taking stock of the one just past can prompt the age-old resolutions, 'eat healthier' and 'make better choices'.
While taking steps towards these goals is often easier said than done, figuring out what foods will keep the weight off and your stomach full is now much easier thanks to Sheila Zhou, expert scientist at the USANA Health Sciences.
'Often when we graze between meals we make the mistake of opting for calorie laden foods, rather than making nutritious choices,' Ms Zhou told Daily Mail Australia.
”'Not only does this hinder our body’s ability to properly process the food; it often also results in weight gain from the additional calorie consumption,' she said.“这样不仅会妨碍我们的身体正常地消化食物,也会因摄入额外的热量而增加体重。

John:The movie is about to start. Let's hurry.
May:Wait a moment. I'm going to buy some snacks.
John:Then be quick.
May:What would you like to have? John:Popcorn and cola.
May:Ok, I'll be right back.
1. Please remain __________ until the plane has come to a complete stop. (山东卷)A. to seatB. to be seatedC. seatingD. seated2. Please remain __________; the winner of the prize will be announced soon. (辽宁卷)A. seatingB. seatedC. to seatD. to be seated3. Can those _________ at the back of the classroom hear me?

1、It's too hot, my tongue is on fire. Canyou give me some ice water? The house was on fire. 2、How can it be so spicy? I am tearing up! The taste is too strong for me. 一个是hot,另外一个是spicy3、Do try some sauce. It goes perfectly with fried chicken. Do you think this hat would go with my new dress? Go perfectly with就是很配的意思.4、Do try some sauce. It goes perfectly with fried chicken. Do you think this hat would go with my new dress? Go perfectly with就是很配的意思.5、That Tofu looks like it will melt in your mouth. 6、A visit to Beijing is not complete without a taste of Beijing roast duck.到了北京,怎能不尝尝北京烤鸭?7、The plum juice was sweet and left a pleasant taste in my mouth. 8、I didn' expect it to taste so good. 1. Do you like to go out eating? 有次我问老美出去吃东西怎么说,他回答说一般出去吃饭,他们只说go toeat , go out eating 或是eat out 而不会说go to dinner, go for lunch,也就是不需特地说中餐或是晚餐。

当我们走进烤鸭店,服务员可能会问我们:“How many people are there?”(有多少人呀?)我们可以回答:“There are three.”(有三个。
我们就可以说:“I want to order a roast duck.”(我想要点一只烤鸭。
我们可以回答:“Yes, some scallions and cucumbers, please.”(是的,请给我们一些葱和黄瓜。
我们可以说:“Put the skin and meat of the roast duck in the pancake.”(把烤鸭的皮和肉放在薄饼里。
我们可以说:“Add a little sweet bean sauce.”(加一点甜面酱。

Do You Have the Habit of Eating Snacks in the Afternoon?I sure do! My name is Emily and I'm 9 years old. I absolutely love having an afternoon snack every single day after school. It's one of my favorite times of the day! As soon as I get home from school, I drop my backpack and head straight for the kitchen. I can't wait to dig into something yummy. On most days, I'll grab whatever snacks my mom has set out for me on the counter. She knows how much I look forward to my after-school treat, so she's really good about having something ready. Sometimes it's a few cookies or a granola bar. Other times she'll leave out crackers, pretzels, or a piece of fruit. My favorites are when she makes mini sandwiches or leaves a small baggie of trail mix for me. No matter what it is, I'm always really excited and grateful to have a little snack to munch on.If my mom hasn't put anything out for me, which doesn't happen too often, I'll go rummage through the pantry or fridge myself to find a snack. Our kitchen is always stocked with all sorts of tasty options because my mom is really good about keeping plenty of snacks in the house for my brothers, sisters, and me.We have a big family, so she makes sure there are enough munchies to go around!I usually plop myself down at the kitchen table while I eat my snack. Sometimes I'll turn on the TV and watch a few cartoons while snacking. Other times I'll munch away while working on some homework assignments or coloring in my favorite coloring books. Eating a snack is the perfect way for me to refuel andre-energize myself after a long day at school. It holds me over until dinner time while giving me that yummy little treat that I always crave in the mid-afternoon.Once my snack is gone, I'll chug down a glass of cold milk to go along with it. The milk helps make my snack feel more like a tiny little meal to hold me over. Plus, I really like the way the milk tastes after eating something salty or sweet. It's super refreshing and satisfying! After I've had my snack and milk, I'll usually take a little break to play outside if the weather is nice. Sometimes I'll go shoot some hoops in the driveway or ride my bike around the neighborhood. Other times I'll just run around in the backyard for a while. Having that afternoon snack boosts my energy levels and helps me burn off some of that kid energy before dinner time.If it's raining or just too cold outside, I'll come inside and play with toys or video games until it's time to start my homework. My friends and I always talk about and compare the different snacks we had after school that day. Talking about snacks is one of our favorite conversation topics! Some days I mix it up and have a bigger snack instead of something small. When I'm really hungry, I'll make myself a toasted bagel with cream cheese or some baby carrots with ranch dip. Once in a while if I'm extra hungry, I'll even have a bowl of cereal as my afternoon snack. My favorites are Cinnamon Toast Crunch or Lucky Charms. Those are my top cereal picks! Sometimes on special days, my mom will let me or my siblings pick a small treat from the snack cabinet as our afternoon snack.I always go for the Oreos, Chips Ahoy cookies, or Teddy Grahams. My snacking habits kind of run in the family because my dad is also a huge snacker. Sometimes when he gets home from work in the late afternoon, we'll have a little snack break together. We'll sit together at the kitchen table and snack on cheese and crackers, pretzels, or some mixed nuts. My dad loves watching me chow down on my daily afternoon snack. He thinks it's the cutest thing ever. The weekends are the best because I get to sleep in late, which makes me even more excited for my snack later in the afternoon. My snack tastes extra yummy when I've been able to sleep past 9 am. I look forward to lazy weekend days when I can lounge around in my PJs for a little while after waking up, chug down a big glass of orange juice, and then mosey on out to the kitchen for my snacktime treat.I've had the after-school snacking habit for as long as I can remember. My parents started me on it when I was in preschool and kindergarten because I was always starving when I got home from my short days at school. Over the years, it just became part of my daily routine. Now at age 9, I make sure I never skip my afternoon snack! It's a tradition I look forward to every single day.Even when we go on vacation, my snacking habits continue. We'll be out and about doing fun activities during the day, but you'd better believe that I always ask for a snack break in the late afternoon before dinner. My parents don't mind one bit. They know I'm at my best when I've had something to snack on to hold me over. We'll stop at a convenience store for a bag of chips or pretzels, or my mom will have stashed granola bars in her purse for me. Sometimes when we're out running errands all day,we'll swing through a drive-thru so I can have a little snack like an ice cream cone or apple slices with caramel dip. My parents definitely make sure I don't miss my beloved。
