如果报考的是学术性的专业，可以说自己细心(carefully，detail-oriented)、条理分明(logical)、踏实(steady)等;如果是研究性、应用性更强一点的专业，可以说自己负责(responsible)、可靠(dependable)、有效率(efficient)等。
除了强调你对学习的重视，同时也要避免给考官一种“书呆子”的感觉。
一般可以从体育、音乐、电影等方面来说，同时要简单说明这些爱好对你的积极意义(build my body, relax myself, open my mind…)I am open-minded, willing and have broad interests like basketball, reading and especially in engineering such as software programming, website design, hardware design. 最好的法子，还是多背几篇。
网上范文都很多，同学可以按专业特色自行搜索背诵几篇，再强调，一定把范文改成自己的，确认语法无误后，再背诵。
最后再整理下中英文面试考官经常会问的问题：因为同学们自我介绍完后，导师会就自我介绍再提些问题，这里列出一些常见的问题，可以认真准备。
注意在准备的过程中，要结合自己的经历和见解来准备答案，让自己回答的问题和整个的自我介绍融为一个整体。
中文问题：1、你为什么考我们这个学校? 这是在考查你对目标院校的了解情况。
回答：兴趣+该校该专业名气和实力+该专业老师的实力。
2、为什么会报考这个专业，以及今后的打算。
建议事先了解所报专业的研究领域与方向，然后稍微准备一个小型的研究计划(不成熟也没关系)，确保你准备的与所报专业的研究方向是一致的。
3、你认为自己本科专业和现在所考的专业有什么互补性或者借鉴性?回答：本科是学习，是基础，而硕士是研究。
4、你认为跨专业的优势和劣势是什么? 以上两个问题的建议：如果你是跨专业的，在复试前需好好思考根据自己所学专业和所考专业之间展开论述。
最好整理出了一篇腹稿，至少要有回答的提纲。
5、你家乡是哪里，家里有几口人?这样的问题有时导师是为了调节氛围，有时就也是想通过这个了解下学生的性格，同学们可以就家庭幸福说明自己养成了什么样的性格，这种性格对学习还有什么好处等。
6、有的时候考官还会问些出奇不意的问题，例如：你有没有男朋友，你最喜欢什么颜色，平时爱看什么电影等等。
同学们遇到这样的问题千万不要慌，有时考官只是为了调节紧张的气氛罢了。
英文问题:What is your greatest strength?(你最突出的优点是什么?)Answer: I feel that my strongest asset is my ability to stick to things to get them done. I feel a real sense of accomplishment when I finish a job and it turnsout just as I'd planned. I've set some high goals for myself. For example, I want to graduate with highest distinction.
