1. 掌握并记忆本课的重点词汇和短语。
2. 培养学生的阅读能力,训练学生阅读速度,查读的阅读技巧;训练学生学会找主题句,归纳文章主旨,运用想象,联想,学会用英语思考的能力 。
3. 让学生理解现在进行时,一般现在时和以-ing 和-ed 结尾的形容词的用法,并掌握这些用法。
4. 学会用英语来回复电子邮件。
【过程与方法目标】1. 通过让学生观看图片来加深学生对新学校的印象并通过提问的形式引导学生了解高中和初中在学校,老师,课程等方面的不同。
2. 通过朗读指导,自主探究,小组活动等方面来引导学生掌握这个单元的单词,文章和知识点。
【情感态度价值观目标】1. 结合初中熟悉的知识点来学习高中各学科教学的特点。
2. 理解美国高中与中国高中的文化差异。

二、学情研究自己一直参与英语课题研究,以及对新课标的学习,教学方法有了一定的改进,比较重视课堂上以学生为主体的形式,但总感觉在单词教学环节上还比较被动。
由于高一新生在每个初中的英语学习程度参差不齐,为了满足不同学生的发展需求,我改变了以往以习题、听写为主的复习方法,提前布置任务让学生预先用自主学习单预习,尽量多的使用本模块词汇编写小故事,基础差一些的学生可以说句子或组短语,在自主的选择和练习中达到了复习的目的,分层次的布置任务也照顾到全体同学,同学们描述自己的高中第一天,每个人都能用到10个以上的本模块词汇,效果很好。
这也是本课设计的闪光点之一。

学法指导的目的就是最大限度的调动学生的主动性和积极性,帮助学生掌握阅读方法,培养学生的学习能力,为学生发挥自己的聪明才智创造必要的条件,本节课我主要从以下两个方面进行指导:

此环节通过小节的形式分析文章结构,鼓励学生描述自己的学校生活,旨在培养学生的综合语言运用能力,发展学生的思维能力和分析、解决问题的能力,同时也是进行德育教育的一个绝佳机会。让学生充分参与到话题的讨论中,既体现教学内容,又符合学生的实际水平和心理特点,有利于拓展学生思维,促进学生积极参与交流。
[设计意图]在细读环节,我设计了填表格、选择题、替换句子、填空等多种题型。填表格是用来训练学生抓住重要信息点的能力,通过选择题、替换句子、填空等多种形式使学生有效的对文章的内容及句型进行很好的把握。此设计体现了层次性、科学性、多样性与灵活性。由整体到部分到细节,合乎学生的认知规律—循序渐进原则。任务设置由易到难,由浅入深,环环相扣,每一个环节都与上一个或下一个环节有关联,提高了课堂教学的实效性。
