大学生就业能力培养问题及对策研究——以青海省高校为例

Value Engineering 0

In today's society, the job market is becoming increasingly competitive. College students, who are about to step into the professional world, are confronted with numerous challenges when searching for employment. This essay explores the difficulties college students face in their job hunting journey, and offers some suggestions for overcoming these obstacles.Firstly, one of the significant challenges for college students seeking employment is the lack of practical work experience. Many companies prefer candidates who have relevant internships or part-time work experience in their field. However, most students have limited opportunities to gain practical experience during their academic years. As a result, even though they may have excellent theoreticalknowledge, they struggle to meet the expectations and requirements of employers.Secondly, the high expectations of employers also pose a challenge for college students during job hunting. Many organizations demand candidates to possess a combination of academic knowledge, skills, and personal qualities. Employers are looking for candidates who not only have a solid educational background but also possess practical skills like communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability. Meeting these expectations can be daunting for college students, especially if they have not had the chance to fully develop these skills during their academic years.Furthermore, the fierce competition among job seekers adds to the difficulty of finding employment for college students. Every year, a large number of students graduate from universities and enter the job market all at once. This results in an oversupply of potential candidates andintensifies the competition for available job positions. With limited job opportunities and high competition, college students often find it challenging to stand out from thecrowd and secure desirable employment. To overcome these difficulties, college students can take proactive measures. Firstly, they should actively seek internships or part-time jobs related to their field of study, even if they are unpaid. Additionally, students can participate in various extracurricular activities, such as clubs, volunteering, or leadership roles within their university. 大学生就业难的原因和应对英语作文
大学生就业难的原因和应对英语作文The Difficulty of Employment for College Students and Strategies to Overcome ItCollege students nowadays often face significant challenges when it comes to finding employment upon graduation. This has become a hot topic of discussion in recent years, as the job market becomes increasingly competitive and the gap between academic qualification and industry demands widens. In this essay, we will explore the reasons behind the difficulty of employment for college students and proposed strategies on how to overcome this issue.Firstly, one key reason for the challenging job market is the lack of practical skills among college graduates. While education equips students with theoretical knowledge, it often falls short in offering hands-on experience. Employers are seeking candidates who possess both academic knowledge and real-world skills relevant to their industries. Without such practical expertise, fresh graduates may find it difficult to stand out from theircompetitors.Another factor that contributes to the difficulty of employment is the fierce competition among applicants. With a rising number of individuals obtaining higher education degrees, there is a surplus of qualified candidates vying for limited job opportunities. This oversupply leads to a highly competitive environment where job seekers need more than just a degree to secure employment. Succeeding in this scenario demands exceptional qualities that make an individual unique and indispensable.Furthermore, another challenge faced by college graduates when entering the workforce is inadequate career guidance during their studies. Many educational institutions focus solely on providing academic knowledge without preparing students for their future careers. This lack of guidance makes it harder for graduates to navigate the job market effectively and leaves them feeling unprepared and overwhelmed when searching for suitable employment. To address these issues and increase employabilityprospects, college students should take proactive measures during their academic years:1. Seek internships or part-time jobs: In order to gain valuable practical experience, it is crucial for students to seek internships or part-time positions relevant totheir field of study. These opportunities provide hands-on training that can significantly enhance employability prospects after graduation.2. Develop transferable skills: Besides academic knowledge, students should also focus on developing a set of transferable skills that are applicable to various industries, such as communication, problem-solving, and teamwork. These skills not only make individuals more versatile but also demonstrate their adaptability in different work environments.3. Network actively: Building a strong professional network is essential for job seekers. Attending career fairs, industry events, and establishing connections with alumni and professionals in the field can open up newopportunities and increase the chances of getting hired.4. Acquire additional certifications or qualifications: To make themselves stand out among other applicants, students should consider acquiring additional certifications or qualifications relevant to their desired industry. These extra credentials showcase a commitment to continuous learning and development. In conclusion, the difficulty of employment for college students stems from a lack of practical skills, intense competition, and insufficient guidance during their studies. To overcome these challenges, students must actively seek internships or part-time jobs for hands-on experience, develop transferable skills applicable across industries, network effectively to expand professional connections, and acquire additional certifications or qualifications to enhance their employability prospects. By taking these proactive steps during their academic years, college students can increase their chances of success in the job market after graduation.。

College students’ difficult employment problem nowadays become a hot topic and gave rise to all levels of governments’, schools’, parents’ and the media’ and whole society's attention.College students’ difficult employment is related to how to correctly judge the current educational and social situation, even concerned with the future policies of national educational adjustments while those adjustments and reforms of educational system of employment direction can also affect the social stability.Specific features of university students' employment are difficult:Initial employment rate of college graduates declined year by year and the employment quality trended downward. According to dates from 2003 to 2005, the number of those graduates who were not being employed was 750,000, 990,000 and 1.2 million respectively. It was highlighted in recent years that college students’ employment pressure and the employment competition are more and more intense. Latest statistics showed that graduates in Guangdong province signed at a rate of 30% in 2013, compared with the same period last year dropped by 10%. The employment situation is more severe than that in 2008College students' expected salary has a considerable gap between companies andjob-hunter. According to the survey, the expected salary of college graduates is5,000-6,000 Yuan at least while most of employers provide the salary about 2,000 to3,000 Yuan. Those college stud ents’ salary expectations were higher than the paid which an important reason for the employment difficult was. Most college students want to find a job in high salary welfare companies or government departments or in the developed areas. However it is difficult for them to find a job in that those employers all have high standards to employees, such as high degree and rich experience and even good looks. So some college students have to be employed in those fields that are not suit for those university students in other persons ‘eyes.According to the survey, college graduates wouldn’t like to work at the grass-roots level. There are two main reasons: The first one is that the basic salary is low. In theory, most of the villages and towns’ government departments’ personnel culture level is low at present, even some people don't adapt to the rapid development of economic and social development. The bringing in of professional and technical workers can play a huge role to promote the development of villages and towns. However, most of the villages and towns’ finance is in difficult situation, even some villages and towns’ finance was on the brink of bankruptcy.College students don't want to create their own business by themselves. Being lack of experience or financial support and other necessary social resources to support, college students couldn’t start up their own enterprises or they are not willing to do this at the local level venturesomely. From a globa l perspective, since the industrial structure of incommensurate, students’ employment problem is a common phenomenon. Its basic reason lies in the educationmodal. The cause of the difficult employment problems in our country is commensurate education structures.
