在我省南部，有一个美丽的地方，她向来就被人们称为镶嵌在我们这个植物王国皇冠上的一颗绿宝石。

可是，就在这绿宝石之上，有8家红砖厂的大烟囱，不分昼夜地喷吐着氟化物和二氧化硫严重超标的浓烟，致使1262亩的天然橡胶林受害，三万零五百株橡胶树为之枯死，胶民们虽然怨气沸腾，却眼睁睁地奈何不了它，无独有偶，在同一纬度的广西某地，也上演过惊人相似的一幕，如果说那一幕还有点不同的话，就是红砖厂的废气除了使大面积胶林枯死外，还造成50多亩芒果只开花不结果，出现果荒。
我们知道，天然橡胶是目前地球上极为少有的自然资源，仅生长在赤过附近，我们也知道，芒果是公认的“水果之王”，那么何以会出现上面那样的情况呢？——因为红泥巴变成砖块，只需要几天的时间，远比橡胶芒果来钱要快！绿色是和平和生命的象征。
