Freestyle is when you swim on your stomach and backstroke is swimming on your back. I'm getting really good at both! Swimming is hard at first but keeps getting easier the more I practice. It is also a lot of fun to play games and splash around in the pool with my friends after our lesson is over. Swimming is an important skill to learn to stay safe around water.Another fun hobby I have is reading books. There are so many awesome books to read! I especially love reading fiction books with make-believe stories and characters. Some of my favorite books are The Magic Treehouse series, Harry Potter, and The Chronicles of Narnia. These books transport me to magical worlds filled with brave heroes, talking animals, witches and wizards, and so many adventures. When I read, the pictures form in my mind as I imagine the story happening. Reading is a terrific way to go on adventures from the comfort of my cozy bed or the backyard on a sunny day. Books teach me new words and facts too. Reading grows my brain!I also enjoy doing arts and crafts as a hobby. Creating things with my hands is really fun. One of my favorite crafts is making friendship bracelets out of embroidery floss. My friends and Ilove wearing the colorful bracelets to show our friendship. I make each one carefully by knotting and weaving the strings in cool patterns. I've gotten really good at making them. Another craft I like is painting. I use brushes, paints, and a canvas to create beautiful paintings. My favorite things to paint are animals, flowers, stars, and things I see in nature. Painting lets me express myself through colors. I can make any scene I can imagine! Arts and crafts allow me to tap into my creativity and make awesome things I can gift, wear, or display proudly.My hobbies bring me so much joy and accomplishment. They help me learn new skills, get exercise, use my creativity, and have fun! I'm grateful I have the time to pursue activities I truly enjoy outside of school. Life is an adventure and hobbies make it even more exciting. Who knows, maybe someday my hobbies will turn into something bigger. I could become a professional athlete, author, artist or something else! For now, I'm just happy being a kid with cool hobbies. Never stop having fun!。
