听说有的同学为了比赛做了大量的准备工作，反复录音多达50遍、甚至60 遍，直到自己满意为止，这种认真的精神令人感动。
比赛中参赛选手们个个激情飞扬，自然大方，尽情在讲台上展现自己的风采，地道流利的语音语调赢得了阵阵掌声，他们将优美流利的语言展现在观众面前，同时，他们热情洋溢的表演感染了在场观众。
其实，对于学生们来说，结果并不是最重要的，关键在于整个参与的过程。
赛场上选手们共竞技能，是竞争对手；赛场外大家互相切磋经验，共同进步，是伙伴。

三、英语歌曲欣赏和比赛为了进一步提高学生唱英语歌曲的兴趣，学校于2006年、2007年举办了两届英语卡啦OK歌曲比赛。
小学学生活泼可爱，喜欢开口演唱。
根据这一特点，组织学生定不仅学唱教材中的采取集体合唱或单人独唱的形式。
期唱英语歌曲，歌曲，而且还学唱磁带或录像带中的优秀英文歌曲。
歌曲的学唱不仅有利于语言的训练，掌握英语发音的节奏，还有助于记忆单词以及了解与歌曲相关的背景知识。
由于歌曲很容易引起学生的兴趣，因而他们积极参与，乐于接受，而且歌曲中优美的旋律也陶冶了学生的情操，培养了他们的美感。
同时，也放松了学习中的紧张情绪，给学生带来了无穷的快乐。
在英语学习的过程中，学习者除了需要做大量的阅读，还需要进行听力和口语方面的训练，而学唱英文歌曲正是为所有的学习者提供了一个鲜活的语言环境，让大家有机会聆听原汁原味的英文，学到最地道、最富有时代气息的口语。
有学生看了英语电影《音乐之声》，就深深地爱上了电影里面的善良可爱的修女玛丽亚、天真活泼而又多才多艺的孩子。
因为太喜欢这部电影，便反复学唱电影中的歌曲《Edelweiss》和《Do Re Mi》，直到融入其中。
英文歌曲为所有学习者开启了一扇窗，使大家可以通过它去了解英美国家人的生活方式、思维模式、价值观、风俗习惯等，从而真正爱上英语，真正沉浸到纯正的英语氛围当中。
唱英文歌可以帮助练习发音，语调和节奏，又可以让学习者在很愉快的心情下背会很多单词和句型，真是一举数得。
语言是一门交际的工具，必须在语言环境中进行大量的实践从而达到“熟能生巧”，有限的课堂教学时间远远不够，课堂也不可能是教学的唯一场所。
为了给学生的语言实践活动提供更多的时间与更大的空间，为学生创造更多听、说、读、写的机会，我校教师不仅努力做到课堂教学“活动化”，充分调动和发挥学生的主体作用，而且还开展了多种形式的英语课外活动，极大地调动了学生英语学习的兴趣。
经过实践，可以说，丰富的活动促进了教学质量的提高，没有活动，教学思想、理念和方法很容易落空。
在整个实践的过程中，突出的一点就是通过组织各种丰富多彩的活动来贯彻和落实。

课外活动内容丰富，形式多样。
实践证明，这些方法对提高中学生的英语素质是行之有效的。

我们由本次活动，进一步思考新形势下开展青年工作应当坚持的原则和方向，主要有三条：一是必须在创意和品质上狠下功夫，以鲜明的特色和较高的质量吸引、感染大家，创建小学生活动品牌。
二是必须最大限度地调动和保护每位小学生的热情和积极性，发动他们广泛参与。
三是必须充分调动英语教师的积极性，发扬团结、创新、奉献的好作风，会干事且能成事，以作为赢得地位。
我们还认真反思了展示会的不足，首先就是学生表演时配音部分不够完善，达不到预期的效果；其次是后台安排秩序不够健全，比较杂乱，没有合理的安排人员负责。
