1I am so looking forward to my college life. I have pictured it thousands oftimes in my mind. The free lifestyle and lively parties are always appearing mymind. The great expectation of campus life endows me a lot of passion to keepstudy. After two years’ study, I would find my lifestyle. The first thing for me is to learn more knowledge. Most students find a wayto release themselves and skip or sleep in the class. They think study is justthe task, so they give up improving themselves and take part in all kinds ofactivities, which bring them great joy. The wrong conception about college stagemakes most students miss the best time to equip themselves with skills. Irealize my job and dare not to loose study. The second thing for me to learn is to make friends by joining activities.I am a shy girl, but inside my heart, I am so eager to make more friends, so Ichoose to join many activities in the spared time. I learn dancing and playingtennis. The lucky thing is that I know many nice people and we become goodfriends, who make my college colorful. 2As we know, many people favor the idea that the college life is free andcomfortable, but I’d like to say it’s not true. As a matter of fact, my life inuniversity is so busy that I wonder if my energy is enough. As to my collegelife, I divide it into four parts, including study, student activities, libraryand the others.Firstly, I want to talk about the study. In my opinion, study is thepriority in college. When I received the letter of admission in summer, I knewclearly that what I should do. So I make up mymind to study hard and pursuelearning as much as possible. I’m greatly convinced that knowledge can change mylife. Therefore, I often go to the quiet study room where many people studythere. By working so hard, I get good grades in the exams.Secondly, student activities play an important role in our college life. Tobe honest, the student Union is a good place where one can develop socialskills, get his abilities trained. I take part in many student activities. Forexample, I’ m a volunteer, teaching the kids to learn to dance and write. Ithink it’s meaningful for everyone to give a hand to others. I can also do somejobs in the Student Union, including receiving and sending fast mail, sellingpapers and magazines. I think they’re unforgettable and worthwhile experiencesfor me.Thirdly, I also visit the library constantly. It’s said that “shelves ofbooks, oceans of knowledge”, so I read books that I’m interested in. In thisway, I can share stories with my new friends and it also changes my horizons. When I’m sad, lost or in trouble, staying the library makes me quiet andcomfortable. After all, every life has bad moments as well as good ones, and thelibrary for me is a support in bad moments. So it’s wise choice for me to stayin the library. Finally, I often do other things in my spare time. In order to alleviateparents’ burden, I often do some part-time jobs and write some articles to earnmoney. It helps me to be independent and improve my social skills. In short, my life in university is busy but valuable. 1In my understanding, if we refer to an ideal college life as a formalwestern dinner, then a high GPA, that is, Grade Point Average, should be themain course, while an active part in activities, together with associations, means the appetizer. Some romances, of course, play the role as desserts. Theyare the 3 key elements for an ideal college life. Those, however, are not what college life is all about. As we all know, college is wildly different from middle school. It connects not only adolescenceto adulthood, but also the ivory tower to the real society. Therefore, the idealcollege life is that I become matured both physically and mentally, and that Iobtain qualified academic knowledge and get well prepared for society at thesame time.Under this circumstance, I never expect my college life to be too ideal, oryou can call it too perfect. It is not realistic to make all things on my ownway, with everyone liking me, winning the first prize all the time, and so on.Of course, I’d like to lead a carefree life. However, this does little good tomy future. What really helps is hardships like failure, betrayal, and unjusttreatment. Only after experiencing those can I know what society is like, andwhat life is like.To conclude my speech, I wanna say, some positive experiences are surelypart of the ideal college life. But, I should not forget about the negativesides. They are not less necessary. 2I was so excited when i entered the college. For so many years, I workedhard to achieve this dream and finally i made it.Everything seemed fresh andcurious to me. I was so pleased that I would enjoy my college life soon.when i was in high school, I had to study all the time and hardly had sparetime to do what i wanted to.Besides, I had to focus on my textbooks and doingexercise again and again. Therefore, I had little time to read magazines andnovels and watch TV. what was worse, I couldn't play with my friends a lot, which I couldn't stand the most. In a word, all i did in high shool should beconsidered for the College Entrance Examination. However, my college life is totally different from the life in highschool.I can arrange my time freely. I spend most of my time reading in thelibrary, where I can open my eyes and broaden my mind.In my free time, I alsojoin some clubs, where i can make a lot of friends of different majors. Myteachers in college are so kind and knowledgeable that they not only teach usknowledge but also how to be a person and how to get on with others. Inaddition, there are more opportunities for me to improve myself.I believe college life is an important stage in my life. In college, i canlearn how to learn by myself, how to get on with others, how to liveindependently.College provides me with a stage where i can show myself and bemyself. 3Good afternoon, my dear friends.I am very happy to meet you here.It is my great honor to communicate with you at such a special occation.First of all, please allow me to express my appreciation to you all to listion to me.I am proud of being a college student. The collegelife isfresh, new teachers, new classmates and new friends. I like the friendship, and their wide knowledge and opening mind. The grand library, school buildings and wide playground attrattde me very much.My college life is better than I expected, I can do anything I like. In the college we can not only learn the professional knowledge, but also develop our comprehensive abilities. If we can make full use of the period,we can learn many useful things.Besides,we should have the active attitude to our life,do a contributionto the society.Collegelife is the most precious time in our life. Most of us want to become an outstanding man. But there are some students still waste their time. They get together for eating, drinking or playing cards. They're busy in searching for a girlfriend or a boyfriend. They completely forget their task as college students. Finally, I hope everybody can try their best to become a worthy person to our country, and make great contributions to the society!。

Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon/evening! It is a great pleasure to stand before you today and share with you my thoughts and experiences about the wonderful journey of college life. College is a period of transition from adolescence to adulthood, a time when we explore new horizons, develop new skills, and forge lifelong friendships. In this speech, I will discuss the significance of college life, the challenges we may face, and the ways to make the most of this unique phase in our lives.First and foremost, let's talk about the significance of college life. College is a place where we can broaden our horizons and acquire knowledge beyond the confines of our high school textbooks. It is a melting pot of cultures, ideas, and perspectives, which enables us to understand the world from different angles. Here are some key reasons why college life is so important:1. Academic Excellence: College provides us with access to a wealth of resources and expertise that can help us excel in our chosen fields. Through rigorous coursework, research opportunities, and hands-on experiences, we can develop a strong foundation for our future careers.2. Personal Growth: College life is not just about academics; it is alsoa time for personal growth. We learn to be independent, manage our time effectively, and make responsible decisions. These skills are crucialfor our future success and happiness.3. Social Skills: College is a great place to meet people from diverse backgrounds. Through extracurricular activities, clubs, and social events, we can enhance our communication and interpersonal skills, which are essential for building strong relationships and networking.4. Lifelong Learning: College instills in us a love for learning and curiosity about the world. It encourages us to ask questions, challenge our assumptions, and pursue knowledge for its own sake. This mindset is invaluable in our ever-evolving world. Now, let's delve into the challenges we may face during our college journey. College life is not without its difficulties, but it is important to recognize that these challenges can also be opportunities for growth. Here are some common challenges and how to overcome them:1. Academic Pressure: Balancing academic responsibilities with social life can be overwhelming. To tackle this, set realistic goals, prioritize tasks, and seek help from professors and peers when needed.2. Financial Strain: Many students struggle with financial constraints during college. To alleviate this, explore scholarships, grants, and part-time job opportunities. Additionally, budgeting and financial literacy can go a long way in managing your finances.3. Homesickness: Moving away from home can be emotionally challenging. Stay connected with family and friends through regular communication. Joining clubs or organizations can also help you meet new people and ease the transition.4. Time Management: College life can be chaotic, and managing your time effectively is crucial. Create a schedule, set aside time for study and relaxation, and be flexible to adapt to unexpected events. To make the most of our college experience, here are some tips:1. Take Full Advantage of Resources: Utilize the library, laboratories, and other resources available to you. Seek advice from professors and advisors to guide your academic and career path.2. Engage in Extracurricular Activities: Join clubs, organizations, or sports teams to develop new skills, meet like-minded individuals, and have fun.3. Build a Support System: Surround yourself with supportive friends, family, and mentors who can provide guidance and encouragement.4. Reflect on Your Experience: Regularly assess your progress and goals. Reflect on what you have learned and how you have grown during your college journey. In conclusion, college life is a unique and transformative period that offers numerous opportunities for growth and discovery. May you find success, happiness, and lifelong friendships as you navigate this exciting phase of your life.[End of Speech]第2篇Ladies and gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon! Today, I am honored to stand here and share with you my insights and experiences of college life. As a freshman, I have been through a rollercoaster of emotions and challenges, which have shaped me into a more mature and independent individual. In this speech, I will talk about the significance of college life, the opportunities it offers, and the lessons I have learned along the way.Firstly, college life is a significant milestone in our lives. It is the transition from high school to the real world, where we are expected to take responsibility for our own actions and decisions. College is not just about acquiring knowledge and skills, but also about personal growth and self-discovery. It is a time for us to explore our interests, develop our talents, and cultivate our character. One of the most valuable opportunities that college life offers is the chance to meet people from diverse backgrounds. In a college campus, we have the privilege to interact with individuals who come from different cultures, religions, and social classes. This exposure broadens our horizons and enriches our understanding of the world. We learn to appreciate the differences and embrace the diversity, which is essential in today's globalized world.Another significant advantage of college life is the freedom it provides. Unlike high school, where our schedules are tightly scheduled and our lives are controlled by others, college allows us to make our own choices. We can decide which courses to take, how to balance our study and social life, and even how to manage our finances. This freedom, however, comes with great responsibility. We need to be disciplined and self-motivated to make the most out of our college experience.During my college years, I have encountered numerous challenges. One of the biggest challenges is the adjustment to the academic environment. The workload is heavier, the pace is faster, and the expectations are higher. It took me some time to adapt to this new environment, but with determination and perseverance, I eventually managed to excel in my studies. This experience taught me the importance of time management, goal setting, and seeking help when needed. In addition to academic challenges, I have also faced personal challenges. The transition from high school to college is not only about academic adjustments but also about emotional and psychological changes.I had to deal with homesickness, loneliness, and stress. However, these challenges have made me stronger and more resilient. I have learned tobe independent, to rely on myself, and to seek support from others when needed. One of the most rewarding aspects of college life is the friendships I have formed. College is a place where we can meet like-mindedindividuals who share our interests and values. These friendships have not only enriched my social life but also supported me through difficult times. We have studied together, laughed together, and grown together. These friendships have become one of the most precious memories of my college life. Moreover, college life has taught me the importance of leadership and teamwork. In various student organizations and clubs, I have had the opportunity to take on leadership roles and work with others towards a common goal. These experiences have enhanced my communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork spirit. I have learned thatsuccess is not achieved alone but through collaboration and mutual support. In conclusion, college life is a unique and invaluable experience. It offers us the opportunity to grow academically, emotionally, and personally. We learn to be independent, to embrace diversity, and to face challenges with courage. The friendships and experiences we gain during this period will undoubtedly shape our future and contribute to our success. As we embark on this exciting journey, let us remember that college is not just about grades and achievements. It is about the memories we create, the people we meet, and the lessons we learn. Let us make the most out of our college life and leave a positive impact on the world.Thank you for your attention! Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed faculty, and fellow students,Good morning/afternoon! It is an honor to stand before you today and share my thoughts on the incredible journey that is university life. As we embark on this new chapter of our lives, it is essential to reflect on what it means to be a university student and how we can make the most of this transformative experience.University life is a blend of challenges, opportunities, and personal growth. It is a time when we step out of our comfort zones, face new experiences, and discover our true potential. In this speech, I will discuss the various aspects of university life, emphasizing the importance of self-discovery, academic pursuits, and social engagement.First and foremost, university life is about self-discovery. It is a time when we explore our interests, passions, and strengths. We are exposed to a wide array of subjects and activities, which allow us to identify our true calling. As we delve into different fields of study, we learn about ourselves and what we are truly passionate about.During our time at university, we encounter various challenges. The academic workload can be overwhelming, and the expectations are high. However, it is these challenges that shape us into well-rounded individuals. We learn to manage our time effectively, prioritize our tasks, and develop resilience. These skills are not only crucial for our academic success but also for our personal and professional lives.Academic pursuits are at the heart of university life. It is here that we gain the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in our chosen fields. The professors and researchers at our institutions are experts in their respective domains, and they are dedicated to nurturing our intellectual growth. We are encouraged to think critically, question the status quo, and contribute to the advancement of knowledge.University is not just about textbooks and lectures; it is also about practical experience. Many institutions offer internships, research projects, and fieldwork opportunities that allow us to apply our theoretical knowledge in real-world settings. These experiences are invaluable as they provide us with a deeper understanding of our disciplines and help us build a strong foundation for our future careers. In addition to academic pursuits, social engagement is a vital aspect of university life. It is a time when we meet people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs. These interactions broaden our perspectives and teach us the importance of empathy, tolerance, and understanding. We learn to collaborate, communicate, and build relationships, which are essential skills in any professional setting. One of the most significant benefits of university life is the opportunity to develop our leadership skills. As students, we are often asked to take on responsibilities and lead initiatives. Whether it is organizing events, managing projects, or participating in student organizations, these experiences help us to develop our leadership qualities, such as teamwork, decision-making, and problem-solving.University life is also about personal growth. It is a time when welearn to be independent, self-reliant, and responsible. We are away from our families and friends, and we must learn to take care of ourselves. This includes managing our finances, maintaining our health, and making wise decisions. These experiences prepare us for the challenges we will face in the real world.Furthermore, university life is about finding our purpose and passion. As we explore different subjects and activities, we begin to understand what truly motivates us. This self-awareness is crucial as it helps us to set realistic goals and pursue careers that are fulfilling and meaningful. To make the most of our university experience, we must embrace the following principles:1. Be proactive: Take initiative in your academic and social life. Seek out opportunities that challenge you and help you grow.2. Balance: Find a balance between your academic pursuits, social engagements, and personal well-being. Remember that university life is about more than just studying.3. Networking: Build a strong network of friends, mentors, and professionals. These connections will be invaluable in your future endeavors.4. Adaptability: Be open to change and new experiences. University life is dynamic, and it is essential to be flexible and adaptable.5. Self-reflection: Regularly assess your progress and goals. Reflect on your experiences and learn from them.In conclusion, university life is a remarkable journey filled with personal growth, academic excellence, and social engagement. It is a time when we discover our true potential and prepare for the challenges ahead. As we embark on this new chapter, let us embrace theopportunities that lie before us and strive to make the most of our university experience.Thank you for your attention, and may we all find success, fulfillment, and happiness in our university life.[Your Name]。

1Time spent at a university is a most worthwhile period in a young persons life. This is a time when a student begins to form his or her ideas about life in general. Attending classes and studying in the library keep a student busy and provide him or her with access to valuable information, adding to his or her knowledge base.Campus life can also be rich and colorful. Most universities offer a variety of extracurricular activities such as sports events, contests, and other social gatherings, enabling the students to experience relief from study and homework. Students often form lifelong friendships through the varied experiences of university life.During the time a student spends at university, he not only develops his intellectual abilites,he also develops social skills as well as knowledge and wisdom necessary for choosing a future career. By learning how to balance intense study and recreation, a student will be well prepared for the challenges of future responsibilities. 2After entering college,we found, to our surprise, that differences between high school life and college life are great. In high school,we always depended on our parents and teachers to solve all kinds of difficult problems. At college, however,we have to rely exclusively on ourselves.Whats more, we have to learn how to get along with our classmates and roommates.Four years at college is an important yet very short period of time in our life.So it is always expected that we adapt to this life as quickly as possible. But it is a pity that not everyone can do so immediately.Hereare some suggestions.First, get familiar with the main buildings on the campus.Spend one or two hours by yourself or with your classmates to go around the campus so that you can know the location of such important places as the library, the dining room, the post office, the clinic and classrooms.Next, try to be independent.Learn to do such things as making sound decisions on how to spend your time, how to spend your money etc,and washing clothes on your own.Furthermore, form good study habits.Talk with your classmates and learn from their good habits. Finally, try to take part in all kinds of activities to get out of your solitude and get on well with your classmates. 3With time goes by, it becomes a bit hard for me to remember everything about myself at the first day of my college life. However, there was one thing for sure that I did feel quite excited and curious about my university. There is no doubt that students like me have struggled for a long time so that can be permitted to enter the university.Bringing with expectation, I got into Zhejiang Gongshang University. Generally speaking, it s an interesting and fantastic place for us to study and live in. Every day a series of outgoing people get into my eyesight. Curious and out of politeness, I d talk to them heart to heart. Here I make friends with my new classmates from everywhere around China. What s more, time and weather permitting, I will enjoy jogging or playing basketball with my classmates on the playground, tired but happy. When staying in dormitory, I choose to read news online and sometimes watch a film for relaxing. However, a good student can never leave his study behind. When it comes to study, hard problems never upset me, instead they arouse me. Rather than ignoring it, I d think carefully for a while andask my classmates for help.To be honest, there are some things I don’t deal with properly. For instance, once I spent nearly a whole day playing computer games. Personally, we university students are already adults and it s our obligation to develop ourselves in college by learning new professional skills. Not until we take a right attitude towards our study and life can we win a rich and colorful experience in college. 4I am so looking forward to my college life. I have pictured it thousands of times in my mind. The free lifestyle and lively parties are always appearing my mind. The great expectation of campus life endows me a lot of passion to keep study. After two years’ study, I would find my lifestyle. The first thing for me is to learn more knowledge. Most students find a way to release themselves and skip or sleep in the class. They think study is just the task, so they give up improving themselves and take part in all kinds of activities, which bring them great joy. The wrong conception about college stage makes most students miss the best time to equip themselves with skills. I realize my job and dare not to loose study. The second thing for me to learn is to make friends by joining activities.I am a shy girl, but inside my heart, I am so eager to make more friends, so I choose to join many activities in the spared time. I learn dancing and playing tennis. The lucky thing is that I know many nice people and we become good friends, who make my college colorful. 5It has been two years since I first got to university.

”送给我自己,也与大家共勉!on the college lifegood morning, everyone! im honored to stand here to share with college life. life is like dumplings, years of skin, the experience of stuffing. ups and downsall the taste, perseverance and confidence is the dumpling skin folds, life is bound to be severely squeezed, is open to boil, bite, if not experienced, first, to establish goals and plans, an ancient saying goes, to keep the lofty, mao zedong said that always advisable to wait the amount. target forward direction, no power at all. program objectives can be divided into short and long term. such as the recent reading many books this month, i want to learn what knowledge, leave what practice report is intended to, and so on. forward, such as: the fight for graduation to get the self diploma, interpersonalrelationships should be much practical ability to achieve what extent. moreover, the goal is a small target to achieve the continuity of the process. such as a day to remember the five words to the exam can be credited to many. however this need to adhere to and perseverance.third, establish a sense of the employment crisis, we always blame their own ability to control, there is no upward mobility power. i do not know who is no sober on their own consciousness? some people will say: love is themotivation to learn, or the family was poor motivation to learn and so on. in fact, from the direct sense, employment, a sense of crisis is also to be thedriving force of our progress. i often want to own graduation, what can you do? the addition of newspapers and magazines to see the current employment situation is extremely severe, so i was very afraid. some people say that looking for work: either the relationship or diploma, or talent (skills). and we? diploma, undergraduate only; relationship, i believe the majority of students do not have anything to do with. therefore, our only way out is to have talent. this, we must ask ourselves: what have you learned, what you have mastered? the question now is not that we do not know what to learn, but we want to learn.working bodies corporate staff have spare time to recharge, but have went to the social part-time college students in the school, i think this trend of thought should be corrected.in addition to reading books, newspapers and magazines, the latest social dynamics, aware of national affairs, and understand the first time current。
