Nowadays, the movies about the high school time are so popular, but the stories are exaggerated, my memories about high school life are so different from the movie. During the three years, study occupied most of my time. I fought for the future with my classmates. We studied together and shared our opinion about the difficult points. When I made great progress, I was so happy, but when I fell behind, I would not give up. I grew up and became patient, I was not the little girl anymore. In the part-time, I would go to play basketball with my friends, it became the most exciting thing at that time. Though the high school life was simple, I gained a lot. I would never forget the classmates who worked with me together.高中是一个人一生中非常重要时刻。

One day on my way to school,I ran across a traffic accident,in which a girl was seriously injured by a motorcycle.I rushed to her rescue instinctively.I lifted her in my arms and hailed a taxi, which took us quickly to a nearby hospital. After emergency treatment, the girl came to.I felt at ease when I knew that she had only suffered from minor bone fractures and would recover in a couple of weeks.I left the hospital without giving my name, but my heart was full of joy and peace. Not until then did I understand the meaning of the proverb:"Helping others is the source of happiness."This may be the most unforgettable experience of my life.Usually, the first time you did something is unforgettable, although it couldnt be always wonderful. As for me,an unforgettable experience of mine is the first time I joined the Red Cross. We took boxes, and walked on the street. We found some people on the street, then asked them to raise some money for Red Cross. At first,we were so surprised that just a few people would raise some money for Red Cross, and some people even thought we were cheat! But we werent upset. We went on and worked for the whole day.During that day,we all felt tired but happy, because we raised much money. We looked at the boxes and smiled. Its really an unforgettable experience!Last summer holiday, I learned to swim. It was very unforgettable and interesting. I went to the swimming pool with my father. He taught me how to swim.At first, I was afraid of diving in the water. And I felt uncomfortable in the water. But father said it doesn’t matter and he would protect me. Then I began to swim, but I couldn’t swim forward at all. It made me upset. Then father told me how to move, how to stretch out my hands and legs. Slowly, I could move a little. In fact, it was not that easy.I learned it for almost half a month. I was excited when father told me I made it.Disappointed at my study results, I didn’t want to go to school any longer. I found a temporary job during my summer vacation. Because I was poor in knowledge, the manager only asked me to deliver newspapers from house to house. At the beginning, I took it for granted that it would be a piece of cake. There would be no difficultly in finishing it.But to my surprise, when I went to people’s house s, they looked me up and down. I could feel that they looked down upon me. I was badly hurt. Though I was discouraged, I came to another house. A black dog jumped out suddenly. I was frightened and screamed with fear. But no one came to help me. At that time, I came to realize that delivering newspapers was more difficult than reading in the classroom. I wanted to give up, but I couldn’t.I tried my best to do the job better. Although I was very tired, I made it finally. From this unforgettable experience, I have learnt that if we put our heart into it, nothing is difficult and nothing is impossible. Now, I am sitting in the classroom, happy, confident, and hard-working. As long as I don’t lose heart and work harder and harder, I will make much progress. Not until then did I understand the meaning of the proverb:"Helping others is the source of happiness."This may be the most unforgettable experience of my life.I like traveling very much. My trip to XiAn is really unforgettable. Before I went there, I always wanted to see Bin Ma Yong, so I chose to go there.I went to there by train with my parents and I had breakfast in the hotel. Then we went there by bus. When I got off the bus, I was very excited. I saw a lot of false man whose hand with all kinds of things.I took many pictures. Finally we went back the hotel in the afternoon.Though I was very tired, I felt very happy. I will never forget it for ever.Speak of exams, there are many unforgettable experiences that deeply rooted in our memories. Here i would like to say one thing that impressed me most.It was the maths final examination. When i was doing a difficult maths problem, suddenly the teacher who supervised our class cried, " What are you doing?" I turned around and found that the teacher was standing beside Xiao Ming, holding a piece of paper in her hand. Xiao Ming looked rather nervous, his face bushed, " Sorry, Ms. Wang, I should not do that. " Then he was asked to get out of the class behind the teacher. This issue told me a great lesson: we should not do what we are not allowed to do because it takes great risks. So, please bear in mind that good students should obey the rules of examinationsEveryone has some unforgettable experience. I will never forget my fiest volunteer work. Last summer, our class went to a country primary school to help the students there. First, we gave away some books and stationery to them. Then we talked about school life. I was quite shy before, but to my surprise, I talked with some students for almost an hour without intermission. I shared my effetive study methods with them excitedly. Finally, we played games together. All of us felt so happy.By doing the volunteer work, I not only gained happiness, but also became more confident. It made me experience that giving is receiving.Last summer,I went to Beidaihe for my holiday with my family. We took a train because the way is not far. We lived in a big hotel where could see the sea . We stayed there for three days. The first day,we went for a walk along the seaside, and then we went swimming and took a lot of interesting photos there. The second day,we went to a famous market andbought many keepsakes. I was going to bring these keepsakes for my friends. The last day,we had a good picnic on the seaside with the natives. They acted all kindsof programmes and made us feel happy. Its a very good journey, and we all enjoyed ourselves on those days. If I have another holiday,I will go there again.I would never forget that day I first met my girl-friend.Before I realized what had happened, I was thrown flat onto the concrete road, knocking my head against the front wheel of the bike. Soft dust blurred my eyes and grated my teeth. This must be worse than all the traffic accidents I’ve heard of, I thought to myself and got ready to shout at the person who should take responsibility of this accident. But when I raised my head, I found a face so beautiful and so sweet that I could not refuse to fall for. I smiled as handsome as possible and ask: “ I’m sorry, are you OK?” For my kindness, as well with my later hard chasing, that girl became my girl-friend. This is really a memorable experience for me!As a lyric goes:“ You’ll be old if you don’t pursue something you like insanely.” I didn’t pay much heed on it the firs t time I saw this lyric. But you’ll never realize the profound meaning until you put it into practice. Not long ago, I did a crazy , at least as far as I can see, thing. Well, you can guess it. I went to see a vocal concert of my favorite super star---Yan Yalun, who comes from Taiwan province. Although it happened two months ago, the stirring scene still excited me a lot every time I recollected it.On January 9, 2013, Yalun held a concert at the centre of Kaide Square in Wuhan. I arrived there alone at about 11:20am. Cause the concert would begin at 5:00pm, I had to wait for nearly six hours. But it seemed that every fan who had arrived there gave a cold shoulder to the waiting time, the half of the square had already been occupied by Yalun’s fans. They were taking pictures of the advertisements about Yalun’s concert, buying album and making new friends with each other. About one century passed by, it was the wonder time next. With the thunderous applause breaking out, Yan Yalun presented at the stage. I burst into tears instantly I saw him. Then it was the official procession. He described what the new album tried to tell us and answered some questions asked by the host. Later, it was the key link and also the point why I eagered to come here so much---Y an Yalun’s autograph on my new album. It meant that I could shake hands with him, I had never imagined it. It was my turn to get the autograph. He firstly received my letter written to him by me and shaked my hands. Then, you could never guess it, he touched my head softly! At that moment, I could hear nothing and my brains were all blank so that I even didn’t know how I came back.To be honest, the excited feeling is out of the expression by words. Only have you walked into the scene can you tell the magic feel. Believe it or not, the idols can give fans power. So , guys, Just do a crazy thing under the cover of your blossom age! This summer holiday, I went to Dalian with my family. We got there by air. Dalian is a very beautiful and modern city. On the bus, we could see all kinds of buildings which were great. In the morning, we got to the hotel where we lived. After breakfast, we began to our travel. First we took the bus to the Sea Park. There are so many different kinds of fishes that I couldnt believe my eyes. We also saw the show of dolphins. Then we had lunch in a restaurant. The seafood which was very famous in China was delicious. After lunch we went swimming. The sea was blue and beach was golden. We all enjoyed ourselves in the sea. Finally we went back the hotel where we lived. We had a happy day.In this trip, we also went to some places which were interesting and famous in Dalian, went shopping and so on.Several days later, we left Dalian. On our way home, we were very happy. This was the reason why we didnt feel tired. In all, we had a good holiday.译文:这个暑假,我们全家去了大连。

As many of us might have witnessed, more people are buying products through the Internet. It tends to be a common phenomenon.Undoubtedly, online shopping has brought us many conveniences. Differentpeople hold the different ideas according to this phenomenon. The majority of people believe that online shopping is not only convenient but also helpful for people as a new shopping way. On the one hand, online shopping doesn’t need you to pour a lot of time and energy into buying things. If you go shopping in this way, you will spend a few minutes choosing the things that you need online instead of going out. Moreover, online shoppin g doesn’t need us to get the things in person. On the other hand, online stores can provide various goods to satisfy our endless need. Besides, we can savemuch money by online shopping. From above, we can know that online shopping has good effect on our life, but every coin has two sides. Some people hold the opposite ideas. First, for example, we maybe buy something wrong online because we don’t take much notice of the quality of the goods. Second, there are many swindlers who cheat us out of money by opening a fake online store. As far as I am concerned, shopping online is an irreversible trend. 英文难忘经历作文高中英文:One unforgettable experience for me was when I studied abroad in Japan during my junior year of high school. It was a challenging yet rewarding experience that helped me grow in many ways.Firstly, the language barrier was a huge obstacle. I had studied Japanese for a few years prior to going, but I quickly realized that my language skills were not as strong as I thought. It was difficult to communicate with locals and understand what was going on around me. However, this experience pushed me to improve my language skills and I eventually became more comfortable with speaking and listening.Secondly, the cultural differences were also a challenge. I had to adjust to a new way of life, including different customs and manners. For example, in Japan it iscustomary to take off your shoes before entering a home or certain establishments. It took some time to get used to, but I eventually adapted to the cultural differences and learned to appreciate them.Lastly, the people I met during my time in Japan were amazing. I made friends from all over the world and we bonded over our shared experiences. 高中英语作文一次难以忘怀的经历

高中英语作文一次难以忘怀的经历

It was a summer morning, the kind where the sun was just beginning to peek over the horizon, casting a warm glow across the sleepy town. I was a high school student then, filled with the usual mix of excitement and apprehension that comes with the start of a new adventure. Little did I know, the day would hold an experience that would be etched in my memory forever.I had signed up for a community service project, something that was not only a requirement for my school but also a chance to step out of my comfort zone. The project was about helping to renovate an old community center in a part of town that was less fortunate. The center was a relic, with peeling paint, broken windows, and a general air of neglect. But there was something about it that spoke of a time when it was the heart of the community, a place where laughter and joy echoed through its halls. As I arrived at the center, I was greeted by a group of fellow students, all clad in their work clothes, ready to tackle the day ahead. Our team leader, a seasoned volunteer named Mr. Thompson, gave us a brief overview of the tasks and safety precautions. He was a man of few words, but his passion for community service was palpable. He inspired us with his dedication, and we were all eager to get started. The work was hard, much harder than I had anticipated. The paint was stubborn, clinging to the walls as if unwilling to let go of the past. The windows were heavy and the glass panes were delicate, requiring a careful touch. But as the hours passed, we began to see the fruits of our labor. Theonce dull walls started to shine with a fresh coat of paint, and the windows, now repaired, allowed sunlight to stream in, illuminating the space with a new vibrancy.During our lunch break, we sat on the steps of the center, sharing sandwiches and stories. It was then that I noticed an elderly lady watching us from a distance. She was frail, with a gentle smile and eyes that held a thousand stories. Mr. Thompson introduced her as Mrs. Jenkins, one of the original members of the community center. She shared with us the history of the center, how it was a place where people came together to celebrate lifes milestones, to find solace in times of grief, and to simply enjoy each others company. Her words painted a vivid picture in my mind, and I felt a deep connection to the place. It was more than just a building it was a symbol of unity, a testament to the strength of the community. I realized that what we were doing was not just about physical renovation, but about reviving the spirit of the community. As the day drew to a close, we stood back to admire our work. The center was transformed, but more importantly, so were we. We had bonded over shared labor, learned about the history of the place, and most importantly, understood the value of giving back to the community. That experience taught me many lessons. It showed me the power of collective effort, the joy of contributing to something bigger than oneself, and the profound impact that a single act of kindness can have. It was areminder that every community, no matter how small or neglected, has a story worth preserving and a future worth investing in.Years have passed since that summer, but the memory of that day remains as vivid as ever. It was a turning point in my life, a moment that shaped my perspective on community service and the importance of preserving the heritage of our neighborhoods. It was a lesson in empathy, resilience, and the power of unity. In conclusion, that unforgettable experience at the community center was more than just a day of hard work. It was a journey of discovery, a lesson in the power of community, and a testament to the impact that a group of dedicated individuals can have. It was a day that taught me the value of giving back, the joy of seeing the fruits of ones labor, and the profound satisfaction that comes from contributing to the betterment of society. It was a day that I will cherish forever.。

篇一高中英语作文范文:一次难忘的经历One of my most unforgettable experiences occurred on a day last summer, when I was handing out newspapers from door to door.Disappointed at my study r esults, I didn’t want to go to school any longer. I found a temporary job during my summer vacation. Because I was poor in knowledge, the manager only asked me to deliver newspapers from house to house. At the beginning, I took it for granted that it would be apiece of cake. There would be no difficultly in finishing it. But to my surprise, when I went to people’s houses, they looked me up and down. I could feel that they looked down upon me. I was badly hurt. Though I was discouraged, I came to another house. A black dog jumped out suddenly. I was frightened and screamed with fear. But no one came to help me. At that time, I came to realize that delivering newspapers was more difficult than reading in the classroom.I wanted to give up, but I couldn’t.I tried my best to do the job better. Although I was very tired, I made it finally. From this unforgettable experience, I have learnt that if we put our heart into it, nothing is difficult and nothing is impossible. Now, I am sitting in the classroom, happy, confident, andhard-working. As long as I don’t lose heart and work harder and harder, I will make much progress.

1Here's an unforgettable experience essay written from the perspective of a high school student, in English, with a length of around 2000 words:An Unforgettable Experience: My First School TripIt was the start of my sophomore year in high school, and the buzz around the hallways was all about the upcoming school trip. For weeks, my friends and I had been eagerly counting down the days until we could escape the confines of our classrooms and embark on an adventure like no other. The day finally arrived, and the excitement was palpable as we boarded the bus, our backpacks stuffed to the brim with snacks, cameras, and a sense of childlike wonder. The journey itself was uneventful, save for the occasional bout of raucous laughter that echoed through the bus, a testament to the camaraderie we shared. Our destination was a remote campsite nestled deep within the heart of the mountains, a place where nature reigned supreme and the hustle and bustle of city life seemed like a distant memory. As we disembarked, the crisp mountain air filled our lungs, and the majestic peaks towered above us, their snow-capped summits glistening in the afternoon sun.The first few hours were a flurry of activity as we set up our tents, dividing into groups and working together to create our temporary homes in the wilderness. Despite the occasional bickering and laughter at each other's ineptitude with tent poles and guy lines, a sense of accomplishment washed over us as we stood back and admired our handiwork. As the sun began to dip below the horizon, painting the sky in a kaleidoscope of vibrant hues, we gathered around the crackling campfire, roasting marshmallows and swapping stories that ranged from the hilarious to the outrageous. The night air was filled with the sounds of laughter and the gentle strumming of guitars, as we sang along to familiar tunes, our voices carrying across the still mountain air.The following days were a whirlwind of adventure and discovery. We hiked along winding trails, our footsteps crunching on the fallen leaves as we marveled at the beauty ofthe forest around us. We navigated our way through dense thickets, scrambled over rocky outcroppings, and even braved a daring river crossing, our hearts pounding with excitement and a sense of accomplishment with every challenge we overcame.Evenings were spent huddled around the campfire, sharing tales of our exploits and reveling in the camaraderie that had blossomed among us. We gazed up at the star-studded sky, marveling at the vastness of the universe and feeling humbled by the grandeur of nature that surrounded us.As the days slipped by, our bonds grew stronger, forged in the crucible of shared experiences and the challenges we had faced together. We learned to rely on one another, to support and encourage each other through the highs and lows of our journey.Inevitably, the time came for us to pack up our tents and bid farewell to the mountains that had become our temporary home. As we boarded the bus for the return trip, there was a palpable sense of nostalgia and a bittersweet realization that our adventure had come to an end.Yet, as we navigated the winding roads that led us back to the familiar cityscape, we carried with us a treasure trove of memories that would forever be etched into our hearts. Thebonds we had forged, the lessons we had learned, and the experiences we had shared would forever shape who we were and the paths we would take in life. That school trip was more than just an escape from the mundane – it was a transformative experience that taught us the value of friendship, resilience, and embracing the beauty of the world around us. It was a reminder that sometimes, the most unforgettable moments in life are found not in the grandiose or the extraordinary, but in the simple joys of shared laughter, camaraderie, and the wonder of nature.篇2An Unforgettable AdventureHi there! My name is Timmy and I'm 10 years old. I want to share with you an amazing adventure I had recently that was truly unforgettable. It all started on a sunny Saturday morning when my parents told me we were going on a family camping trip! I was so excited because I love being outdoors and exploring nature. We packed up our trusty old van with all our camping gear –tents, sleeping bags, cooking supplies, and of course, plenty of snacks! After a long drive, we arrived at the most beautifulcampsite nestled deep in the forest. The fresh air smelled incredible, and the sound of birds chirping filled my ears. This was going to be the best camping trip ever!Dad and I got to work setting up our tents while Mom started preparing our camp kitchen. Once everything was all set up, we went on a little hike to explore the area. The forest was like something out of a fairy tale, with tall trees towering above us and sunlight peeking through the leaves. We even spotted a few cute little chipmunks scurrying about! That night, we gathered around the campfire and roasted marshmallows for s'mores. The flames crackled and danced, casting a warm glow on our faces. Dad told us spooky stories that made me shiver with excitement. When it was finally time for bed, I fell asleep almost instantly, tired from all the fresh air and adventure. The next morning, we went on a longer hike to a nearby lake. The water was so clear and refreshing that we just had to go for a swim! I splashed around happily, marveling at the tiny fish darting beneath the surface. After our swim, we had a picnic lunch on the lakeshore, savoring every bite of our delicious sandwiches. On our way back to the campsite, we stumbled upon an incredible sight – a family of deer grazing peacefully in a meadow! We stood perfectly still, holding our breaths, as we watched the majestic creatures. It was like something straight out of a nature documentary. I felt so lucky to witness such a magical moment. All too soon, it was time to pack up and head home. As we drove away, I looked back at the forest one last time, already missing its serene beauty. This camping trip had been an adventure like no other, filled with wonderful memories that I'll cherish forever.Even though I'm back home now, that sense of wonder and excitement still lingers within me. I can't wait for our next family camping trip, where who knows what unforgettable experiences await? The great outdoors is calling, and I'm ready to answer with open arms and an open heart.篇3Title: The Camping Adventure That Changed My LifeIt was the summer before my senior year of high school, and I was feeling a mixture of excitement and trepidation. The excitement stemmed from the prospect of embarking on acamping trip with my best friends, an annual tradition we had upheld since middle school. The trepidation, however, arose from the whispers that this year's destination was the infamous Black Ridge Mountains, notorious for their treacherous terrain and unforgiving wilderness.Despite my apprehensions, I couldn't resist the allure of spending quality time with my closest companions, creating memories that would sustain us through the turbulent waters of adulthood. Little did I know that this particular adventure would etch itself into my psyche, forever altering my perspective on life. The journey began like any other camping trip – brimming with laughter, playful banter, and an insatiable thirst for exploration. We hiked for hours, our backpacks weighing us down with the essentials, but our spirits remained high. As the sun began to dip below the horizon, we stumbled upon a breathtaking clearing, surrounded by towering pines and a babbling brook that seemed to beckon us closer.Setting up camp was a well-choreographed dance, each of us fulfilling our roles with practiced efficiency. Soon, the crackling fire cast a warm glow over our makeshift home, and we settled in for a night of storytelling and camaraderie. Little did we know that the true test lay ahead. The following morning, we embarked on an ambitious hike, determined to scale the highest peak in the Black Ridge Mountains. The path grew increasingly treacherous, with steep inclines and loose rocks that threatened to send us tumbling. I remember feeling a growing sense of unease, wondering if we had bitten off more than we could chew. Then, it happened. A misstep, a slip, and suddenly, my friend Joel was tumbling down the rocky slope, his cries echoing through the vast expanse. Time seemed to slow as we watched in horror, powerless to intervene. When he finally came to a stop, a sickening silence enveloped us.In that moment, everything changed. The carefree attitudes of our youth evaporated, replaced by a sobering reality that forced us to confront our own mortality. We rallied together, tending to Joel's injuries and devising a plan to get him to safety. The descent was arduous, each step a testament to our determination and the unbreakable bond that had forged us. As we finally emerged from the treacherous wilderness, battered and exhausted, I realized that this experience had forever altered my perspective.Life, I learned, is a delicate dance between adventure and caution, between embracing the unknown and respecting itspower. The scars we carried, both physical and emotional, served as a poignant reminder that every decision we make carries weight, and that true friendship is forged in the crucible of adversity. As I look back on that fateful camping trip, I am filled with a profound sense of gratitude – for the lessons learned, the bonds strengthened, and the unwavering resilience that resides within us all. It was an experience that shaped me, molding me into the person I am today, forever appreciative of the beauty and the challenges that life has to offer.篇4An Unforgettable ExperienceHey there! Let me tell you about this one time that was just crazy and insane and well, unforgettable! It all started on a perfectly normal day during my freshman year of high school. I woke up, ate some cereal, got ready for school like any other day. Little did I know, that day would turn out to be anything but ordinary! So I'm sitting in English class, trying my best to pay attention to Mr. Patterson droning on about adjective clauses or something. I look out the window and that's when I see it - ahuge dark cloud of smoke billowing up from behind the school building. At first I think maybe it's just some teachers having a little barbecue for lunch, but then the fire alarm starts blaring! We all jump out of our seats and the teacher ushers us outside to the emergency assembly area. That's when we see the flames - the whole back side of the school is on fire! Can you believe it? The cafeteria kitchen must have caught fire and it was spreading rapidly. The fire trucks arrive quick and the firefighters jump into action. They're spraying water everywhere trying to get the blaze under control. We're all just standing there, jaws on the floor, watching in shock and awe. After about an hour, they finally get it contained and start letting students go home for the day. I'm walking back with my friends James and Emma, and we can't stop talking about how insane it all was. The adrenaline is still pumping through our bodies. When I get home, my parents are waiting for me, having heard about the fire from the news. They're so relieved I'm okay and give me about a million hugs. Apparently the fire started from a faulty deep fryer and caused major damage to the kitchenand cafeteria area. They weren't sure yet if school would be closed for repairs or what.Well, let me tell you, those next few days were like an unexpected vacation! School was closed for about a week while they got things cleaned up and fixed. Us students didn't mind one bit though - it was kind of an exciting little break in the middle of the semester. When we finally went back, things were a little different. The cafeteria was closed indefinitely until repairs could be done, so we had to eat sack lunches for months. You could still kind of smell the smoke smell in some areas of the building. But honestly, I didn't care - that crazy fire was just an unforgettable experience that bonded me and my friends. We still joke about it to this day, about how we barely survived the flames, how we're heroes for making it out alive, stuff like that. Looking back, while it was undoubtedly pretty scary at the time, it's actually a really fun memory I'll never forget from my high school days. An unexpected plot twist that broke up the monotony, you know? So there you have it - the tale of the time my school casi burned to the ground! A legendary experience I'll never forget.篇5An Unforgettable ExperienceI can still vividly recall one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life thus far. It was the summer before my junior year of high school, and my family had decided to take a trip to the breathtaking Rocky Mountains in Colorado. Being an adventurous teenager, I was ecstatic about the prospect of exploring the great outdoors and embarking on some thrilling adventures amidst the stunning natural scenery. The journey itself was quite lengthy, as we had to drive for nearly two days from our home in the Midwest to reach our destination. However, the monotony of the long road trip was quickly forgotten the moment we caught our first glimpse of the majestic Rockies. The towering peaks, adorned with pristine snow caps, seemed to pierce the very heavens themselves, leaving me in awe of their sheer grandeur. Our first stop was a charming little town nestled in the heart of the mountains, where we checked into a cozy cabin that would serve as our base for the next week. The fresh mountain air was invigorating, and the serene surroundings provided a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of city life. One of the highlights of our trip was the day we decided to embark on a challenging hike through one of the many trails that wind their way through the Rockies. Despite being an avid hiker, I found myself struggling to keep up with the steep inclines and thin air at such high altitudes. Nevertheless, the breathtaking vistas that greeted us at every turn made the arduous trek well worth the effort. As we reached the summit of the trail, the panoramic view that unfolded before us was nothing short of awe-inspiring. Majestic peaks stretched out as far as the eye could see, their rugged silhouettes etched against the brilliant blue sky. In the distance, we could discern the sparkling waters of a pristine alpine lake, its surface shimmering like a million diamonds in the sunlight.Perched atop that lofty vantage point, I felt an overwhelming sense of insignificance in the face of such natural splendor. It was a humbling reminder of the vastness and power of the natural world, and a stark contrast to the human-made environments I was accustomed to.As we began our descent, I couldn't help but feel a profound sense of gratitude for having the opportunity to witness such beauty firsthand. The experience had left an indelible mark onmy soul, reminding me of the importance of venturing beyond my comfort zone and embracing the wonders that lie just beyond the horizon. In the days that followed, we continued to explore the Rockies, embarking on thrilling whitewater rafting excursions, fishing in crystal-clear mountain streams, and even trying our hand at rock climbing under the watchful eye of experienced guides. Each new adventure brought with it a fresh set of challenges and rewards, further solidifying my love for the great outdoors. As our time in the Rockies drew to a close, I found myself reluctant to leave behind the breathtaking scenery and sense of freedom that had become so dear to me. However, I knew that the memories and lessons learned during this unforgettable experience would remain with me forever.Looking back on that transformative journey, I can say with certainty that it was a pivotal moment in my life. It taught me the value of stepping outside my comfort zone, embracing new challenges, and cultivating a deep appreciation for the natural world. The Rocky Mountains will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I eagerly await the day when I can return to thosemajestic peaks and relive the sense of wonder and adventure that first captivated me all those years ago.篇6A Memorable Life LessonThat summer day was just like any other. The sun was shining brightly, and the birds were chirping their cheerful melodies. Little did I know that this particular day would leave an indelible mark on my life and teach me a valuable lesson I would never forget. It all started when my best friend, Jake, invited me over to his house to hang out. We had planned to spend the afternoon playing video games and goofing around, as we often did during our summer breaks. Little did I know that this seemingly ordinary day would turn into an extraordinary adventure. As soon as I arrived at Jake's house, he greeted me with a mischievous grin plastered across his face. "Dude, you'll never guess what I found!" he exclaimed, his eyes sparkling with excitement. Before I could even respond, he grabbed my arm and dragged me towards his backyard. In the far corner of the yard, hidden behind a cluster of bushes, was a small hole in the fence that separated Jake's property from the neighboring woods. Jake explained that he had discovered this hole earlier that day and had already ventured into the woods for a brief exploration.Against my better judgment, I allowed my curiosity to get the better of me, and we squeezed through the hole, entering the dense forest that lay beyond. The canopy of trees provided a welcome respite from the blazing summer sun, and the earthy scent of moss and decaying leaves filled the air.For what seemed like hours, we wandered aimlessly, marveling at the beauty of nature that surrounded us. Jake led the way, eager to discover every nook and cranny of this newfound paradise. We climbed over fallen logs, ducked under low-hanging branches, and even crossed a small stream, our shoes and socks becoming soaked in the process. As the afternoon wore on, the shadows grew longer, and the forest took on a slightly eerie quality. That's when we realized that we had strayed too far from the familiar path and had become hopelessly lost. Panic began to set in as we tried to retrace our steps, but every direction looked the same, and the trees seemed to mock our futile attempts to find our way back.Exhausted and disheartened, we sat down on a fallen log, trying to formulate a plan. That's when Jake suggested something that would change the course of our adventure forever. "Let's climb that big tree over there," he said, pointing to a towering oak that stood majestically in the distance. "Maybe we can get a better view from the top and figure out which way to go."Without hesitation, we made our way to the base of the tree and began our ascent. The climb was treacherous, with branches snapping beneath our weight and bark scraping our skin. But we persevered, driven by the hope of finding our way back home.As we neared the top, a sense of accomplishment washed over us. We had conquered the tree, and now we would be rewarded with a bird's-eye view of our surroundings. Little did we know that our triumph would quickly turn into a nightmare. As Jake reached for the final branch, it snapped under his weight, and he tumbled to the ground with a sickening thud. I watched in horror as my best friend lay motionless on the forest floor, his leg twisted at an unnatural angle. In that moment, all childish notions of adventure evaporated, and the gravity of our situation hit me like a ton of bricks. Wewere lost in the woods, Jake was seriously injured, and we had no way of contacting anyone for help.Panic threatened to consume me, but I knew I had to remain calm for Jake's sake. With trembling hands, I rummaged through my pockets and found my trusty pocketknife – a gift from my grandfather. Using the knife, I fashioned a makeshift splint for Jake's leg, hoping to stabilize it until help arrived. As night fell, the forest became a symphony of eerie noises –the hooting of owls, the rustling of leaves, and the occasional snap of a twig underfoot. We huddled together, Jake drifting in and out of consciousness, while I fought to keep us both safe from the unseen dangers that lurked in the darkness. It seemed like an eternity before we heard the distant sound of voices calling our names. Relief washed over me as I realized that a search party had been sent to find us. With what little strength I had left, I shouted for help, waving my arms frantically in the direction of the voices. The next few hours were a blur of flashing lights, sirens, and concerned faces. Jake was loaded onto a stretcher and rushed to the hospital, while I was enveloped in the warm embrace of my worried parents. In the days and weeks that followed, Jake made a full recovery, and our harrowing ordeal became a story that we would recount to our friends and family for years to come. But more importantly, it taught me a valuable lesson – one that would shape the person I would become.I learned the importance of preparedness and caution, of respecting the power of nature and never underestimating the potential dangers that lurk around every corner. I also learned the true meaning of friendship and the lengths one would go to protect those they care about. From that day on, I vowed never to take life for granted and to approach every situation with a sense of responsibility and awareness. The scars on Jake's leg would serve as a constant reminder of the price we paid for our youthful recklessness, but they would also symbolize the unbreakable bond we forged through our shared ordeal. As I look back on that fateful summer day, I can't help but feel grateful for the lessons it taught me. It was a reminder that life is unpredictable, and that even the most ordinary of days can take an extraordinary turn. It was a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the power of friendship to overcome even the most daunting of challenges. And most importantly, it was a reminder that every experience, no matter how harrowing, has the potential to shape us into better, wiser, and more compassionate human beings – if we choose to learn from it.。

My First Flight TripLast summer I took my first airplane flight from Yantai to Xi'an. Five minutes after I boarded the plane and was directed to my seat by an airhostess, the plane took off. Then from the broadcasting came the sweet voice of a hostess to welcome us aboard. With magazines and newspapers being distributed and drinks being offered, I noticed there were a few foreigners around me. Up high in the sky, I enjoyed a splendid view down below as my seat was just at the windows. The land looked like a colored chessboard, while the rivers were glittering in the sunshine. How delighted I was when I saw cotton-like clouds surrounding the plane!About an hour later, we made a perfect landing. So I got to my destination fresh and excited. One of My Experiences of Physical LabourOne winter day when I was in primary 6, my parents got up early. I felt very curious seeing them moving the furniture outside in the yard and cleaning the walls and ceiling with huge long mops. How I wished I could join them! I asked father if I could help to clean the ceiling . “Sure, try it, but be careful”. Father said. I felt fantastic when I found I had made the ceiling obviously whiter and cleaner than before. What surprised father most was that I kept better balance that adults on the ladder. That experience of physical labor impresses me most. I have been taking part in the “Great Action” before the Spring Festival since then. I always help my parents with any kind of housework. How I Took Care of My Mother When She Was IllThis happened last year when my father was out on business. One evening when I came back from school, I found my mother' face very pale. I sensed something unusual because she didn't make dinner but had brought back some snakes for me. She told me she didn't feel like eating anything. It seemed that she had a fever and a sore throat. I took her temperature and prepared a simple meal for her. How relieved I fell when I saw my mother eating the noodle I made. Still, I felt very upset when I found she had a temperature of 40 degrees centigrade. I took her to the hospital and took care of her all through the night. My father praised me when he came back. We should take good care of our parents and other relatives when they are ill.Help or Not?One evening, father was driving me home when a stranger stopped us and said he needed a ride badly. But father did as asked. I felt a little worried thinking of our safety. But seven days later, we were very surprised to receive a letter from him, which read: “Thanks you so much for helping me so that I was able tomake to my dying wife's beside just before she passed away. God bless you for helping me and unselfishly serving others. Sincerely ours, Tom.”Nobody can tell when he is in trouble. If so, he, including a stranger needs love and help. If everybody just looks on, what will our world be? But it is not unusual that quite a few strangers cheat people put of their badness, so, be careful when giving help? How to Spend My Birthday?I usually spend my birthday at home and my parents usually cooka big meal for me and my friends who come to my house to celebrate my birthday. But last year I spent a very unforgettable birthday. On my birthday, my cousin invited me to go to the countryside and stay with them. Early in the morning, we went to climb the mountain behind my cousins' houses. On the way up the mountain, I saw the city. In the evening, we had a big dinner: fish caught by myself and fresh vegetables picked from the field. Of course, I slept a sound sleep that night with so many beautiful scenes in my mind.An Experience of Failure in the Oral English Competition The passage talks about the experience of Jim's success with positive altitude after his failure in the …..? of the seventh grade basketball team. When I was in Junior Two, I was the apple on the palm of my English teacher, as I was the best at English in my class. My English is so ……?., compared with people in the outer world. I worked harder then. Now I am prepared for GZ English Talents competition as the only representative of my school.Express Your GratitudeI have a similar experience. Once when I was about to go home after school, it was raining so heavily that I had to wait for the rain to stop. But after half an hour it was still raining. Seeing this, the guard at the gate offered to lend me his umbrella. I accepted at once. Thanks to his help, I got home on time without getting wet. The next morning, when I returned the umbrella to the guard, I said thank you to him and left him a note expressing my gratitude sincerely. To my surprise, he said no one had ever written him to say thank you before, and it meant a lot to him.So in my opinion, saying thank you to others is meaningful both to the speaker and the receiver though it is so small a thing.Students Hope for Interesting PEI remember cle arly once learning “jumping goats” in my PE class. My teacher showed us how to do it. He ran, jumped up and then touched the tool(called a goat) and finally steadily landed on the ground. All was done beautifully, which aroused our interest in having a try. We were encouraged and helped to practice, experiencing an unforgettable moment.………………………………….I often feel stressed before exams, I don't believe that I can do a job because I once filed before and I don't think I am well-prepare this time. In order to release the stress , I like to do some physical exercises and have a good rest. The next morning, I will tell myself to try my best no matter whether I'll succeed or not. According to my own experience, I think keeping self-confidence is the most effective way to deal with stress. Trust yourself and you can overcome any difficulties. And also don't always expect too much. The more you want, maybe the less you get. Just try your best and take it easy, you will feel more comfortable to fulfill your dream.Preparing Myself For College LifeI have led a busy life in middle school, especially in senior 3, doing homework and having lessons all day long. Sometimes I have to work until late into the night. So I have little time to make friends or participate in social activities. As a result, I know little about society. No Photos, Please!I had a similar experience. When I was in primary school, I went to the zoo with my parents. Suddenly I caught sight of a giraffe from behind the trees. I was very excited. It was the first time for me to see such a huge animals. I suddenly had an impulse to take photos with it. Many tourists just had the same feeling as me, and cameras were flashed on and on.Solving the ProblemFor a long time I was too busy to speak English in public. During English lessons I would never answer questions or take park in group discussions. But I was determined to overcome this problem and made a plan. First I got some advice from my teacher. She suggested I practice speaking aloud alone become confident in pronunciation, then chat with classmates. After several weeks I became more willing to talk in class. Then I started going to an English Corner and soon I was confident enough to speak English openly. From this I learned that I must be determined to overcome my problems. Get the advice of people who are knowledgeable and I trust. Finally follow my plan until I finally succeed. The Good Teacher In My EyeThe teacher who impressed me most was my maths teacher. Compared with other teacher, he paid more attention to his way of teaching. He tried various ways to make his classes lively and interesting. Instead of giving us answer immediately, he encouraged us to think by ourselves whenever he put forward questions. He was also a learned person. We admired him very much.Help or Not?One evening, Father was driving me home when a stranger stopped us and said he needed a rich badly. And father did as he asked. I felt a little worried thinking of our safety. But seven days later, we were very surprised to receive a letter from him, which read,” Thank you so much for helping me so that I was able to make it to my dying wife’s bedside just before she passed away. God bless you for helping me and unselfishly serving others. Sincerely yours , Tom.”What a DiscountSeveral days before Christmas, my mom went shopping with noclear idea of what she needed to buy. However, when told that coupons worth¥50 for each hundred you paid were offered, my mom decided to buy a pair of pants whose price tag said ¥780.With the ¥350 coupons, my mom got some other things and got back home, very pleased. A few days later, however my mom angrily told me that she was cheated for that pair of pants which was sold for only ¥280 now. What a discount!I burst into tears when I’m reading your letter.I can deaply feel your love. And I want to tell you that I love you, too. In these 18 years, you have been sparing no efforts to protect me and make me happy. I can still remember the days when you took me to go hiking. You told me that whatever difficulties I came across, I should be brave. I can still remember the days when you took me to the park. You taught me that all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. I can still remember……On your 50th birthday, I just want to say how gateful I am for everything you have done for me. I am the tree while you are the sun. But for your help, I couldn’t grow healthy and strong. You give all you have to me and I will do so to you.My dear dad, I love you from the very bottom of my heart. I hope that you will be healthy and happy forever. In the past I seldom had the confidence to discuss study topics with my classmates. I also had little enthusiasm for studying as I found it to be very boring. But following my teachers advice I joined a study group and to my surprise my performance in class has improved greatly. Studying becomes more enjoyable and something I look foeward to doing as I am able to learn from as well as help others. So for me, studying in groups is by far the most effective way to learn. When I was a child, I lived a poor life, but I had a happy and meaningful childhood. My parents were always respecting each other. Now we have some money, and our life has improved a lot. Unforunately, my father always goes out and takes part in the gambling activities. And my mother sometimes quarrels with my father. I am extremely unhappy about it. I think money doesn’t equal happiness.I haven’t had the experience qf couch surfing so far. I usually go travelling with my parents through tour agents. But I think couch surfing is also a good and and new way of travelling. It has its own advantages. Firstly, by getting overniaght accommodation for free, travelers can save some money. Secondly, travelers can experience local people’s life by them selves. Finally, travelers can make more friends around the country and even around the world.I had the similar experience when I was in primary school. My mother often took me to her office because there was nobody taking care of me in the summer vacation. There II saw how mum worked. She was a editor of a weekly magazine. She was busy all day, editing and writing artcials, making phone calls to authors and designing page layout. She was so perfessional and capable when working , which was very different from what she behaved at home. From then on, I’ve admired her and understood her more. patienceI have a similar experience. Once I waited for the bus at the stop for30 minutes, no bus came. I couldn’t wait any longer and decided to walk to school. But no sooner had I left than the bus arrived. I thought if I had waited for one more minute, I would have caught it. If I wanted to take the next bus, I would have to wait for another 30 minutes. Only then did I realize the importance of patience. Being impatient will waste all the efforts that we have made. Patience also plays an important part in our study and life. With it we can achieve greater. Now, whenever I am to lose my patience, I’ll think of the experience of waiting for a bus.Pride goes before failureThe day I came first in the English exam was the happiest day of my life. I had studied very diligently for many weeks and was well prepared for the exam. When the teacher announced that I was the first, I felt so proud that I thought my English was already excellent enough and I didn’t need to study English hard any longer. During the following few months, I didn’t listen to the teacher attentively in class and never did I do my homework after class. In the next exam, the result was quite different. I fell far behind. From then on, I became modest and never proud again.races between the hare and the tortoiseThe story reminds me of my experience when I first came to this school. My classmate, Michael showed great talent in science studies while I was pretty good at history and economics. I feared that Michael would outperform me in the exams so I avoided helping him and viewed him as my competitor. It was not until Michael suggested that we work together that I understood the importance and benefit of cooperation. We shared learning methods and helped each other. As a result, we both made progress in our studies and became top-ten students.11。
