介绍去一个地方的英语作文五年级
it was a beautiful day. after two hours' journey, we came to the foot of the eighth mountain and looked up at the sky. the sky was blue and blue, and the white clouds were strolling leisurely. looking out, only eight mountains, like a green dragon, soar into the air, and the mountains like green walls surround it. we began to climb the mountain along a rugged mountain road. the forest was quiet, and the occasional bird's crisp and cheerful song. there were a lot of smooth stones on the road, and the stones were covered with green moss, and i was afraid to wrestle when i was not careful, and there were some scary little worms crawling around. at last we came to the top of the mountain, and there stood a magnificent hall, which stood on the top of the mountain, and looked down from the mountain, and the beautiful view was at the bottom of the eye, and the mountains and the trees were all over the mountains. the green mountain, the blue sky, the white clouds make up a charming picture.

介绍一个国内你喜欢或去过的地方英语作文

介绍一个国内你喜欢或去过的地方英语作文

介绍一个国内你喜欢或去过的地方英语作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Place in China - The Bund in ShanghaiDo you know the city of Shanghai? It's a really big and cool city in China with lots of tall buildings and bright lights. Shanghai has over 24 million people living there - that's more than the whole country of Australia! One of my favorite places in Shanghai is an area called the Bund. The Bund is a long strip of buildings and walkways running along the Huangpu River in central Shanghai. On one side of the Bund, you have all these amazing old European-style buildings with domes, columns, and arches. They look like fancy palaces and castles! On the other side is the river, and across the river you can see Pudong, which is the newest part of Shanghai. Pudong has all the really tall and modern skyscrapers, including the Oriental Pearl TV Tower that looks like a giant baseball stuck on some long rods.At night, the Bund area lights up with millions of colorful lights outlining all the old buildings. The bright lights reflect offthe river and the Pudong skyscrapers also have tons of flashing lights and displays. It looks so magical and pretty! My mom took me to see the Bund lights on a nighttime river cruise last summer and I'll never forget how amazing it looked.During the day, the Bund is crowded with tons of people strolling up and down the walkways. Locals and tourists all come to see the historic buildings and to take pictures with the Pudong skyline in the background. There are street performers and artists along the Bund putting on shows or selling their artwork and paintings. My dad took me inside one of the big Bund buildings once and it was breathtaking. Inside was a huge open room with a domed glass ceiling overhead. The floors were shiny marble and the walls were decorated with fancy tiles and carvings. My dad said the building used to belong to a British bank a long time ago when Shanghai was run by foreigners. Just walking around felt like being transported back in time to an elegant palace.I love the Bund because it perfectly combines the old European history of Shanghai with the new modern skyscraper city. The contrast of the ancient buildings on one side and the futuristic towers on the other is amazing. It's a special placewhere you can feel the story of Shanghai's transformation from a tiny fishing village to a global megacity center.Plus the Bund has tons of fun stuff to do besides just looking at buildings. You can ride a boat along the river, visit museums about Shanghai's history, eat delicious street food from vendors, and watch cool street performances. Every time I go I find new things to explore and experience. My absolute favorite time to visit is in the evening right before sunset. If you time it right, you can watch the sun go down over the glittering skyscrapers while the old Bund buildings start turning on their lights one by one. The sunset makes the entire city look like it's on fire! Then when it gets fully dark, the Bund is a blaze of lights and color reflecting on the river. It's an incredible sight that makes me so proud of my amazing hometown of Shanghai. The Bund is definitely the number one place I recommend for any visitors to see in Shanghai. It captures everything great about this city - the perfect combination of old and new, East and West, past and future. I feel so lucky to have grown up coming to this special place. Whenever I'm at the Bund, I can't help but smile at how beautiful it is. Shanghai is the best!篇2My Favorite Place in ChinaHi friends! Today I want to tell you all about my very favorite place in China - the Jiuzhaigou Valley! Jiuzhaigou is a nature reserve in the mountains of Sichuan Province. It's one of the most beautiful places I've ever been.Jiuzhaigou is famous for its bright blue lakes and waterfalls. The lakes almost look like someone colored the water with a crayon because it's such a bright, beautiful shade of blue. My mom says the color comes from calcium carbonates and other minerals in the water. I just think it looks like a magical fairy tale land! There are several big valleys that make up Jiuzhaigou, and each one has stunning scenery. Shuzheng Valley is home to tinkling waterfalls and thick forests of tall trees. Rize Valley has those amazing blue-green lakes that seem to glow. And Nuorilang has red coral pools and yellow travertine terraces that look like a giant cake!My favorite valley is Zaru because that's where the super tall waterfalls are. Nuorilang has a waterfall that's 68 meters tall - can you imagine?? That's taller than a 20 story building! The waterjust comes crashing down from that huge height. When you stand near it, you can feel the mist on your face and hear the roar of the falling water. It's incredible. All the valleys are connected by a boardwalk trail that winds through the reserve. Walking the trails is my favorite thing to do at Jiuzhaigou. One second you'll be in a sun-dappled forest, and the next you'll come across a vivid turquoise lake or a waterfall cascading over bright red rocks. Around every bend there's another postcard-perfect view. The plants and trees are just as magical as the waterfalls and lakes. Jiuzhaigou has forests of towering fir and maple trees that turn brilliant shades of red and orange in autumn. Flowering bushes and wildflowers bloom everywhere in the warmer months, filling the air with sweet scents. And in the lakes, I've seen these little bright green mossy plants that almost seem to glow under the water. It's like being in an enchanted forest from a storybook.Animals live freely all around Jiuzhaigou too. On the trails, you might spot furry golden monkeys swinging through the trees. Blue sheep graze on the grassy slopes, and huge birds of prey like eagles and hawks soar over the valleys. Once, our guideeven pointed out fresh bear tracks in the mud! I felt like I was on a safari. At night, Jiuzhaigou seems to come even more alive. Without the sunlight, the glowing bioluminescent plants in the lakes really shine. They light up the water with an eerieblue-green glow. Our guide told us that tiny plankton in the water are what create the glow. It's so cool! My little brother and I like to pretend we're exploring an alien world.I could keep going on and on about how amazing Jiuzhaigou is, but I don't want to spoil all the surprises! I really think everyone should get to experience this natural wonderland for themselves. Just being surrounded by all the beauty of the valleys, waterfalls, and lakes makes me feel so happy and peaceful inside. If you ever get a chance to visit Jiuzhaigou, you absolutely have to go. Pack a picnic, put on your hiking boots, and get ready to be wowed at every turn. Between the glistening turquoise lakes, roaring waterfalls, picture-perfect forests, and all the cool animals, this place is straight out of a fairy tale. I'm so lucky I got to see Jiuzhaigou's magic with my own eyes!篇3My Favorite Place in China: The Summer Palace in BeijingHi there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you all about my absolute favorite place in China - the Summer Palace in Beijing! It's this huge, amazing palace and gardens that used to belong to the emperors of China. I've been there lots of times with my family and friends and I never get tired of it. It's just soooo cool!First of all, the Summer Palace is MASSIVE. It covers an area of 2.9 square kilometers (1.1 square miles)! That's about the same size as 400 football fields put together. It has the Kunming Lake right in the middle and then the palace buildings, gardens, and hills all around it. You could spend days exploring every corner and still not see everything. The buildings are just breathtaking. The biggest one is the Marble Boat, which looks exactly like a huge boat made out of marble! It's not a real boat though, it's a two-story building on land. I like to imagine it's a pirate ship and I'm the captain sailing the high seas. Arrrr mateys! There's also the Long Corridor which is this loooong covered walkway that goes on for 728 meters (almost half a mile!). The whole thing is covered in awesome painted pictures showing scenes from Chinese legends and history. My favorite part though is Kunming Lake. It's this gigantic lake that takes up a huge part of the Summer Palace grounds. The water is so clear and blue, and there are lots of pretty bridges, pavilions, and little islands to explore. Once my parents rented a boat for us to cruise around the lake. We saw all these willows trailing their branches in the water and the hills in the background had the most amazing colors when the sun was setting. It looked like a fairy tale scene! There are also tons of cool hills and gardens to check out. My favorite is the Seventeen Arch Bridge which has (you guessed it!) seventeen arches that you walk underneath. It's supposed to bring good luck! The gardens are filled with rockeries, ponds, pavilions, and flowers everywhere you look. I love the Perfume Buddhist Temple because it always smells so nice from all the flowering trees around it.The Summer Palace has a really fascinating history too. It used to belong to the emperors and their families who would live there and throw parties during the summer months. That's why it's called the Summer Palace! The most famous emperor connected to it was the Dowager Empress Cixi. She liked the palace so much that she spent tons of money renovating and decorating it while regular people were starving. Not very nice!Tragically, the Summer Palace was burned down and looted by British and French troops in 1860 during the Second Opium War. For years it just sat in ruins until Empress Cixi used money meant for the navy to rebuild it in the early 1900s. They've done a great job restoring it to look just as amazing as it did back in the old days.Nowadays, the Summer Palace is one of the top tourist attractions in China. Millions of visitors come every year from all over the world. And I can definitely see why - it truly is a magical, amazing place. Whether you're exploring the temples, cruising across the lake, or hiking up to the top of the hills for incredible views, there is something for everyone.I feel so lucky to live close enough to visit the Summer Palace regularly. My friends and I have had so many fun adventures there - pretending to be emperor, having picnics by the lake, and just running around the endless gardens and pavilions. It's the perfect place to use your imagination and travel back in time to ancient China! If you ever get the chance to visit Beijing, you absolutely HAVE to go to the Summer Palace. Just make sure to wear your comfiest shoes because there's a ton of walking involved. But it's totally worth it to explore this incredible place that was oncehome to China's mighty emperors. You'll feel like royalty yourself as you wander the palaces, gardens, and lakes of the Summer Palace. I'm getting excited just thinking about my next visit! Okay, I'll see you around - Zai jian!篇4My Awesome Trip to Shanghai!Hi everyone! My name is Little Wang and I'm 10 years old. I just got back from the coolest trip ever to Shanghai with my family and I can't wait to tell you all about it!Shanghai is a huge city in eastern China, right on the coast. It's one of the biggest cities in the whole world with over 24 million people living there! That's like 100 times bigger than my hometown. The city is famous for its incredible skyline with tons of skyscrapers and bright lights. It almost looks like a futuristic city from a sci-fi movie! We stayed in a really tall hotel in the Pudong area, which is the newest part of Shanghai on the east side of the Huangpu River. Our room was on the 58th floor and we had an awesome view looking out over the whole city. At night, all the skyscrapers light up in different colors - it was so beautiful! One of the best parts of the trip was getting to go up to the top observation decks of some of the tallest buildings in Shanghai. The first one we went to was the Shanghai World Financial Center. It has this huge hole in the top that looks like a bottle opener! We took an incredibly fast elevator all the way up to the 100th floor observation deck. The views from up there were just incredible - you could see the entire city stretching out in every direction.Another amazing skyscraper we visited was the Shanghai Tower, which is currently the second tallest building in the world at 2,073 feet tall! The observation deck at the top is on the 119th floor. When you step out onto the outdoor viewing platform, the floor is made of glass so you can look straight down. It was a little scary but so cool! I felt like I was floating among the clouds high above Shanghai.Of course, we had to visit the Bund area too. The Bund is this famous waterfront area in central Shanghai with a beautiful row of historic buildings from the 1800s and early 1900s. At night, the Bund is all lit up and reflects perfectly in the Huangpu River - it's such a pretty sight! We took a cruise along the river to see the Bund and the Pudong skyline all lit up at night.Another fun thing we did was go to the Shanghai Circus World. They had the most amazing acrobats doing crazy flips and stunts. My favorite act was these dancers who did incredible routines while spinning round and round hanging from long pieces of cloth suspended from the ceiling. It was like they were defying gravity!I also loved getting to try all the delicious Shanghai food! My favorite was the xiaolongbao, which are these hot soup dumplings filled with pork and broth. You have to be really careful when you bite into them so the hot soup doesn't spill out. Soooo yummy! We also had shengjianbao, which are these fluffy pork buns that are pan fried on the bottom. And of course, we had to get authentic Shanghai noodles like nanjing salted duck noodles. One day we took a bus out to Zhujiajiao, which is this awesome ancient water town about an hour outside of Shanghai. It was built on a bunch of little rivers and canals with all these old stone bridges crossing over them. We got to take a boat ride along the canals and under the bridges - it felt like going back in time! The little alleys and buildings in Zhujiajiao were so picturesque. On our last day in Shanghai, we visited the amazing Shanghai Museum. It has an incredible collection of ancient Chinese art, furniture, pottery, calligraphy and more. My favorite section was the Ancient Chinese Sculpture Gallery which had these massive Buddhist statue carvings. Some of them were as tall as a whole building!I had such an unforgettable time in Shanghai. The city felt like the perfect mix of old and new, with amazing historic sites but also all the latest modern skyscrapers and technology. Shanghai is bright, bustling, fun and full of energy. I'll definitely never forget my awesome Shanghai adventure! Who knows, maybe I'll even get to go back again someday.篇5My Favorite Place in China: The Bund in ShanghaiHi everyone! Today I'm going to tell you all about my absolute favorite place in China – the Bund in Shanghai! It's this really cool area right along the Huangpu River. Whenever my family goes to Shanghai, we always make sure to spend lots of time walking around the Bund. Let me tell you why I love it so much!First of all, the Bund has these awesome old buildings from back when Shanghai was opened up to foreign trade in the 1800s. On one side of the river, you've got the Bund itself which is a big wide boulevard lined with huge stone buildings. They were built by countries like Britain, France, and the United States back in the day as banks, hotels, and trading houses. My dad says the architecture is a mix of different styles like Gothic, Baroque, and Renaissance. I don't really know what all those big words mean, but I do know the buildings look super old and fancy! My favorite building is the big green one that looks like a castle – that's the Old Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Building from 1923. Isn't that the coolest name? I like pretending I'm a banker from almost 100 years ago going to work there. I also really like the Customs House with the huge tower and all the little domed roofs. It reminds me of a palace from those old historical movies my grandparents watch. On the other side of the Huangpu River, you can see all the crazy modern skyscrapers of the Pudong district. It's wild how you can stand on the Bund and literally see hundreds of years of architecture like old meets new. The most famous one is the twisty silver Shanghai Tower that's over 2,000 feet tall! At night, all the skyscrapers light up in different colors which looks sobeautiful reflecting off the river. I could stare at that view for hours.Another thing I love about the Bund is all the cool stuff you can do there. There are tons of street food vendors selling things like jianbing (my favorite!), candied strawberries, and those little scorpion lollipops that freak my little sister out. You can also find people doing different performances like playing traditional Chinese instruments, dancing with ribbons, or making animals out of palm leaves and string. One time we even saw this intense kung fu show with all these martial arts masters breaking bricks and stuff! If you get tired of walking, you can hop on and off these green sightseeing trolleys that drive along the Bund. Or you can take a boat cruise up and down the river which I really want to do next time. You get to learn about the history of Shanghai while enjoying that iconic Bund skyline view from the water. How cool would that be?!Speaking of history, there are a bunch of cool historical sites and museums around the Bund area too. Like the Bund Financial Bulls right at the start which are these big bright green bull statues to symbolize the stock exchange. A bit further down is the Old Missile Lord Mansion, which used to be the home of asuper rich businessman back in the 1920s. Now it's a museum with all this fancy old furniture and decorations inside. And you can't miss the Bund Historical Buildings Gallery that teaches you about the different buildings and shows you what they looked like way back when. But I think my single favorite thing to do around the Bund is just walk around and people watch. There are always tons of families, couples, tourists, street performers, and vendors out and about. You see people from all over China and the world coming to check out this famous spot. Sometimes I like to make up stories in my head about where everyone is from and what they're doing in Shanghai. Once I even saw a couple getting their wedding photos taken on the Bund which looked so romantic!Overall, I just love the energy and vibe of the Bund. It's this perfect mix of old and new, Chinese and international, quiet and lively. If you go early in the morning it can be really peaceful and empty. But at night it turns into this thriving, bustling pedestrian scene with music, lights, and crowds everywhere. There's always something fun to see or do no matter what time you visit!I know I'm just a kid, but the Bund makes me feel connected to Shanghai's amazing history while also getting to experience its modern, global culture. The next time your family takes a tripto China, you have to make sure to spend at least a day exploring the one and only Bund in Shanghai. I'm already counting down the days until my family's next visit! Okay, I've probably rambled on enough about my favorite place. Thanks for reading, guys!篇6My Awesome Trip to the Great Wall of China!Hi friends! My name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I just went on the coolest trip ever to the Great Wall of China with my mom, dad, and little sister Meimei. Let me tell you all about it!First, we took a really long bus ride from our house in Beijing to get to the Great Wall. It took forever and I got pretty bored on the bus. But when we finally got there, it was so amazing! The Great Wall is this huge, massive wall that snakes over mountains and valleys for thousands of miles across northern China. It's one of the most famous structures in the entire world! When we first saw the Great Wall from the parking lot, I couldn't believe how gigantic it was. The wall is made from huge stone bricks stacked super high - it almost looks like a huge dragon slithering across the mountains! My dad said the Great Wall is over 2,000 years old. Can you imagine, it's older than all of our great-great-great grandparents combined! The ancientChinese built it to protect their country from invaders from the north. Pretty smart, right? After taking a bunch of pictures from the parking lot, we started hiking up the steep trail that leads to the top of the wall. I got really tired because the path was super rocky and there were a ton of steps to climb. But my parents kept telling me to keep going because the view from the top would be worth it. Boy were they right! When we finally reached the top walkway of the Great Wall, the view was just breathtaking. I could see the massive wall snaking ahead of me up and down the ridge lines of the tall mountain peaks. It stretched out to the horizon in both directions as far as my eyes could see. According to our tour guide, the Great Wall is so long that it can even be seen from outer space! How cool is that?We spent over an hour walking along the watch towers and stepping ramparts of the wall, taking pictures and soaking in the incredible scenery. The crisp mountain air felt amazing and refreshing. We could see villages and farms nestled in the valleys below. It made me imagine what it must have been like for the ancient warriors who patrolled this incredible wall hundreds of years ago. They must have been so brave! After our amazing walk on the wall, we went to a fun tourist market nearby that sold all kinds of Chinese souvenirs and snacks. I bought a little warrior statue to remember my trip and got delicious jianbing (an awesome type of Chinese crepe) from a street food stall. Meimei got her face painted as a panda bear. We were all having so much fun!On the bus ride home, I felt so proud that I was able to hike the entire Great Wall with my family. It was tiring but absolutely worth it for the jaw-dropping views and sense of history. The Great Wall of China is a true wonder of the world and one of the most incredible places I've ever visited. I'll never forget that awesome family trip!I hope you enjoyed learning about my amazing Great Wall experience. It's a memory I'll cherish forever. I feel so lucky to live in China with such rich history and culture surrounding me. If you ever get the chance to see the Great Wall in person, you absolutely have to go! Just be ready for a lot of hiking and stairs. But trust me, it's an adventure you'll never forget!。

篇一:《城市介绍英文版》城市介绍英文版Seattle is located between an inlet of the Pacific Ocean to the west called Puget Sound and Lake Washington to the east. The city's chief harbor, Elliott Bay, is an inlet of the Sound. West beyond the Sound are the Kitsap Peninsula and Olympic Mountains on the Olympic Peninsula; east beyond Lake Washington and the eastside suburbs are Lake Sammamish and the Cascade Range. Lake Washington's waters flow out through the Lake Washington Ship canal, a series of two man-made canals and Lake Union, to the Hiram C. The sea, rivers, forests, lakes, and fields were once rich enough to support one of the world's few sedentary hunter-gatherer societies.
