Do you like reading books? Yes, I do. I like reading books verymuch。

然后你就回答Yes, I do....。

可以用Of course, Definitely, Sure,和Certainly来做个替换,然后把后面I like的宾语提前说出来,就变成了Reading books is one of my favourites inmy free time. And it can enlarge my imagination and widen the scope ofknowledge。

Describe a family business you know这里不需要注意时态问题,一般现在时就可以了,如果遇到描述过去的经历,考生们则需要灵活转变时态。

How you know it:如何得知这个企业,可以是知名的,可以是广告,可以是从小就用这个牌子,毕竟娃哈哈也喝了一整个童年了。

What products it sells:

Work or own a business

Some people prefer to work for themselves or own a business. Others prefer to work for an employer. Would you rather be self-employed, work for someone else, or own a business?Use specific reasons to explain your choice. You should write at least 250 words.Model Answer 1:Several people choose to be self-employed rather than becoming a professional employee, while others decide to be a professional or an entrepreneur. Each of the choices has its own positive and negative things, but in my personalopinion, I prefer to be an employee, since it has the lowest risk.To begin with, some people have decided to be self-employed. They prefer to do that because they do not like to be regulated by any procedures, or being governed by under companies' regulation. Examples of the self-employed jobs are professional actors, athletes, freelancers, or other kinds of art performers. While others prefer to be an entrepreneur because they feel that by opening a new business, it brings a lot benefits for themselves and societies. Should the new business runsmooth and in accordance with the business plan, the owner should get a lot of profits. And then, it will create job opportunities for the communities as well. However, these two choices have their own weaknesses. As a self-employed person, there is no guarantee that they will get a sustainable income, as they are paid in accordance with their performances. While as a business owner, it is obvious that there are a lot of risks for them such as the risk of bad debt, foreign exchange fluctuation and bankruptcy. On the other hand, some people dislike being a professional worker. They feel that they have limited and restricted time, and sometimes the workload is also unreasonable. However, many people do not realise that becoming an employee has the lowest risk ever. They will have steady income through their monthly salaries, despite that their companies might be performing poorly. And then they would have additional benefits from the company such as medical allowance, annual leaves and company cars as well. Lastly, companies are also paying the retirement fund for their employees as well. Therefore, the advantages of being an employee outweighed the disadvantages. In conclusion, it is a fact that people have different options about work. Some people choose to open their own business, while others prefer to be self-employed or work in an organisation. After measuring the benefits and drawbacks, I personally prefer to be a professional employee, since it has the lowest risk.Model Answer 2:Basically, people work for money and self-realization. However, some people prefer to be self-employed and others prefer to work for an employer. These two options are very different ones and I did not make my choice yet. I think that each of them has its own advantages and disadvantages.Working as an employee brings many benefits. First of all, one can spend more time with his family helping his child do his homework, fishing with the whole family, etc. Second of all, one has fewer responsibilities. He just does his job and does not care about the market, competitors andexpected profit. One taking a vacation can forget about all troubles, relax and not worry about who does his job during his absence. Finally, an employee can always find a more interesting job with a higher salary. From the other side, be self-employed have many benefits too. First of all, one knows the more he works the more he gets. Another important reason of being self-employed is independence. One does not have to report to anyone except one's self. However, in addition to these practical benefits, one gets more responsibilities to take care of.To sum up, I think that be self-employed is not as easy as it may seem. A person must be self-confident, strong and patient. He must know exactly what he wants and be ready to sacrifice all his spare time to it. I have a family and at this moment I am not sure that I am ready to sacrifice my time to the job.。

Describe a small business that you would like to own.
You should say:
what this business would be
how you would start/open this business
how you would run this business
and explain why you would like to run this kind of business.
答案
What this business would be
I want to open a small business. It will be a place for kids to go afterschool, a kind of childcare centre in the neighborhood. My town desperatelyneeds a place like this.
How you would start/open this business
Honestly, I have no idea how to go aboutmanage it yet. But common sensetells me that the key to starting a successful business is to develop athoughtful business plan and then get the necessary financial support. Butunlike other businesses, this caregivinger business would be a
non-profitorganization. So I would contact some local non-profit organizations and talkwith them to see if they can help me in any way.
How you would run this business
There will be food, video games, pinball, and a dance floor. I will alsohave tutors there to help with homework and stuff. The business would operate ona membership scheme, I mean those who want to join us have to register and pay asmall amount of fee first.
and explain why you would like to run this kind of business.
I would like to start this business because first of all, there's greatdemand around my neighborhood. A typical school day in China normally ends at4p.m. but the working hours for most parents is from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The centrewill be a good place to the childchildren to stay in until their parents come topick them up after work. Also I just love kids and enjoy seeing them grow. Oneof my friends works as a kindergarten teacher. She said that it was so much funto working with children. They
are cute, and very trusting....it is truelytrulya very promising and worthwhile career--very rewarding as well....
1.What kinds of small business are most popular in China?
One of the popular small businesses here in China is to set up an onlinecompanybusiness. You can sell anything from clothes, to antiques to usedfurniture. The investment cost is much lower and you could work anytime andanywhere if you have the internet connection. The process could also be fullyautomated as the technology is maturethere.
2.Why do some people open their own business?
The benefits are pretty obvious, such as ''being you own boss' and nothaving to answer report to someone for anyeverything you do. Your time is youown, though you will probably find having your own business takes far more ofyour time than if you were havworking a ''job'.
3.What challenges and difficulties do people face when they try to have asuccessful small business?
There is the initial startup cost, but the biggest challenge is getting thepublic to believe in you and the quality of your product or service.
Anotherchallenge is proper use of your time. You can be very successful spending yourtime doing the right things, but most of us are not successful because we don'tknow whatich things to focus on and in what sequenceorder.
4.What do you think is the most important factor when choosing a job orcareer?
It depends on the individual circumstances. Interest is definitelyimportant, however as you get older you will really see money plays aimportantlarge rolefactor. For example, if you have a family to support, yoursalary pay becomes more important than the other factors. But for universitygraduates, the opportunity to learn and practice grow weighs more than thingslike salary or working hours.
5.Do you think it is good to change your job frequently?
I don't' think it's a good idea to make a general statement of saying it'sgood or it's bad. As an employer, I think that a person who changes jobsfrequently is unstable and not responsiblegood for his/herthe team. However,Ithink a person who stays at the same job forever is fearful or unmotivated. Iwould like to see people who change their jobs until theyto find a better fit orfor career advancement.。
