8-10 Jem Stone Genie-the Crash程晓萌It was test time again at the Three Wishes School for genies. Tomorrow they would have their end of year test, so today they were practicing flying their carpet. Jem Stone had forgotten all about the test. Pearl was th e first. She often laughed at others, so Jem didn’t like her any more. Her carpet was very new but in fact, she wasn’t good at flying at all. When the test began, Jem was just behind her soon. He was getting ready to go past her, but Pearl didn’t move out of the way. At last, the two carpets crashed. Jem was against the school rules. He was going to crash onto their teacher, Miss Genius, so he made a spell. But he turned Miss Genius into a spider. And Jem wanted to turn her back again quickly. The spider hi d under the cupboard in the girl’s room. They caught it with a glass and a piece of paper. Jem turned Miss Genius back to herself. Miss Genius found the paper was a copy of tomorrow’s test paper. She had a surprise. At last Miss Genius said that class’s over and they can use the rest of the day to practice for the test.。

故事梗概
It was test time at the Three Wishes School for genies. When Jem Stone beat his teasing classmate Pearl in the flying test, their carpets crashed. Then Jem and his carpet bagan to fall. Jem wished for his carpet to land beside Miss Genius, but he changed her into a spider. Inorder to avoid catching by the school cat, the spider run under Pearl’s cupboard. Finally, Pebble cought the spider and Jem turnt the spider into Miss Genius. Miss Genius found a stolen test paper from Pearl’s cupboard. So Pearl is stopped by the head teacher to continued his exam. However, Jem and others are allowed to practice for the exam.

It was test time at the Three Wishes School for genies. When Jem Stone beat his teasing classmate Pearl in the flying test, their carpets crashed. Then Jem and his carpet bagan to fall. Jem wished for his carpet to land beside Miss Genius, but he changed her into a spider. Inorder to avoid catching by the school cat, the spider run under Pearl’s cupboard. Finally, Pebble cought the spider and Jem turnt the spider into Miss Genius. Miss Genius found a stolen test paper from Pearl’s cupboard. So Pearl is stopped by the head teacher to continued his exam. However, Jem and others are allowed to practice for the exam.

The cat was quick but the spider was quicker. It scuttled across the playground and into the school. Then it slipped under the door of the girls‟ room. The cat spat, crossly, and put his paw under the door. …Oh, no, you don‟t !‟ cried Jem. He picked the cat up and took him back to the playground. Then he shut the school door so that the cat couldn‟t get back inside and ran back to the girls‟ room.
