第二部分语法
一.When 引导的时间状语从句
When 可以充当连词,意为“当…时候”。
When 可以将两个分句连接在一个句子中,表示同时发生的两件事情。
When引导的分句被称为“时间状语从句(adverbial clause of time)”。
从句可放在主句前,也可以放在主句后。
当从句置于主句前时,从句后应加逗号。
When I went out, it started to rain.
It started to rain when I went out.
第三部分
ed to do sth. 意为“过去常常做某事”
He used to get up early. 他过去常常早起。
I outside with my mum on nights and the sky.
我过去常常在晴朗的夜晚和妈妈到外面去并仰望天空。
1)be used for doing sth. “被用于做某事”,与be used to do sth. 用法相同。
Stamps are used for sending letters.= Stamps are used to send letters. 邮票是用来寄信的。
