Nowadays, people get the information mainly by newspaper,TV，broadcast and internet, they all have advantage and shortcomings. Now I will introduce them one by one.
Newspaper
•优点covering the globe, wide publicity, the readers are throughout the various strata of society Whatever you are a student or a teacher, a teen or adult , it always have a suitable one for you.
•NO time / space restricted.
Readers may at any time, any place ,having adequate reading time. For example, on the plane, you do not have to worry about the newspaper will be taken away, ,it can clearly and effectively convey the information
•readers have plenty of time to think about the contents
•the number of readers is relatively stable
•most country has their own newspapers
缺点Lack of dynamic and expressive
Newspaper is a static media, it’s unable put the dynamic things on paper.
•Don’t have the visual impact.
•poor printing screen, and the print quality is low
•much information are layout ,it seems too crowded.
It’s not easy for us to find what we want.
Broadcast
优点
•Wide coverage and wide dissemination,
•We can receive the broadcast easily
We can use cell phone with a earphone, or the radio in the car to listen the broadcast.
•communication make the distance of the broadcast media and the audience closer
•it enhance the affinity of the broadcast
缺点
•It only has sound , NO Visual expression
•it is easily be neglected by audience,
•Audience would be disturbed by other things.
•Can not be saved
So it Can’t give the audience a deep impression.
Television
优点
•The TV is commonplace
Most family has a television ,so we can watch the program at home ,it’s a easy way to gain information.
•It has many programs
We can select the program according to your hobby
•It makes a strong visual impact
We can see the pictures meanwhile hear the sound ,it gives you a deep impression.
缺点
•There are many ads cut off the programs, it will disgust the audience
•Many television stations reduce the selective and targeted.
Sometimes we don’t know which we want to see.
•Can’t see the program at any time and place
Is also a big problems.
Internet
优点
•Network development is very rapid.
People can gain information quickly and convenient in this way.
•There is no space restrictions.
•Spread fast
•Various forms such as text, images, FLASH and other dynamic performance, and even increase the sound and other multimedia effects, to attract the user
•Flexible modification
You can modify the content at any time, and update as needed
•Interactive information
If you see something interesting, you only have to click the mouse, then you will be able to
understand more detailed, vivid information
缺点
•The ads are often obscured the content
People won’t like see them
•Virtual platform,
It impacts the truthful in some information.
The death of the newspapers?
How can we treat the newspaper’s future, we must have a critical thinking. Although the development of the internet becomes the major threat to newspaper, the circulation had been declined, we also can’t live without the newspaper, it brings a truly sense, and as a habit to many people. Some people worry about the environment impact of newspaper, many trees are cut down for produce the paper, we could take some precautions such as cycle use. There is no doubt that newspaper is historic, and gradually turns into a unique culture. So the newspaper won’t disappear in the future.
未来的发展
According to the latest development, there is no escaping the fact that the internet will become mainstream to gain the information. because it includes the other media But this does not mean that other media will disappear, because everyone has their own preferences. They are restrict each other, promote each other and achieve common progress of a good situation.。
