很多时候，在电话里要为对方留下通讯信息，如电话号码或邮箱，那么怎样用英文来告知对方电话或邮箱信息呢？念电话号码时，最好每三个或四个数字中间停顿一下，读到连在一起的两个或三个相同数字时，最好用double或triple，比如333读作triple three；2244读作double two，triple four。
至于邮箱的表达，@读作“at”，所以jane@读作Jane,at,fox mail,dot,com，如果用户名部分有标点符号，常见的几种这么读：“/”读作“forward slash”；“-”读作“hyphen”；“_”读作“underscore”。
