本课题的研究主要是要通过教研组活动,找到初中有效教学的共同原则,使之能有效地、有针对性地解决初中英语教学中的一些难点,真正提高课堂教学的有效性,提高洛社初中英语教学的整体质量,提高本组老师的整体素质。

三、课题研究的主要内容(一)“有效备课”——加强集体备课发挥群体优势集体备课是一种较好的备课形式,长期进行集体备课能使教师受益很多:首先,它能集众家之长,以研讨的形式提高备课的实效性,而且在集体备课时能够及时发现问题、解决问题,从而为其他教师的备课提供依据,避免了更多的人再走弯路。

集体备课的另一优势还在于它有利于教师能够集中不同层面的学生问题或者一个学年段学生的实际进行备课,充分体现出面向全体学生的教学思想。

为提高教师备课的有效性,可以把个人备课和集体备课结合起来,进行课前备课和课后备课。

(1)课前备课和传统备课方式一样,教师在课前备课时也要研究教学目标,钻研教材,落实知识点、重点、难点,广泛收集资料。

但与传统备课方式中“孤军作战”相比,我们认为在此过程中可以采取个人备课和集体备课相结合。

在实践中,我们先对此进行了尝试。

实践对象七年级备课组,我们备课组有七位老师,从一开始,我们就以集体备课结合个人备课进行了实践。

我们先确定每次备课组活动的主讲人,主讲的教师应做事先准备,其他教师也要拟订相应的教学内容和教学方案。

而在集体备课的过程中,各教师拿出自己精心准备的方案,以一人主讲,集体讨论的方式进行备课。

我们每一位教师在集体备课中,都积极参与讨论,对课堂中学生主体性的凸现、能力的培养、重难点的突出与突破等方面都发表自己的意见。

然后再对教案进行修改,整合成比较优秀的教案,同时利用备课组的合力搜集、整理资料,制作课件,为课堂教学做好充分的准备。

通过集体备课中交流修正,使每位具有不同智慧水平、知识结构、教学风格的教师都能互相启发、补充,共同提高。

其中,本人的教学风格较为活跃,重视学生思维能力口语能力注重每节课的“导入”环节的设计;黄婷较为擅长语法课的教学,知识点、语言点讲解清晰。

同时,在集体备课、多媒体资源共享的基础上,针对自己所带班级的学生的具体情况,加入自己的见解,每位老师制定了各自具体的教案,使自己所任班级的教学质量更有效,从而带动整个年级课堂教学的有效性。

总的来说,这一尝试还是较为成功的,整个年级的教学质量也较令人满意。

(2)课后备课在教学活动中,多数教师注重的是“课前”和“课中”。

对课后往往不够重视。

而实际上,在课后做些教学反思,写些教学心得,然后再改写教案,进行课后备课来提高课堂教学效果。

(1)教师反思课堂教学效果。

根据课堂教学的构成因素,可以从以下几方面去考虑课堂教学的实效问题。

①“学”效。

即学生“学”的效果。

可以通过多种方式进行检验。

②“师”效。

即教师“教”的效果。

反思的方面有:教的内容是否明确;教的要求是否明白,是不是达到了本课程的要求;教的方法是否妥当;③“理”效。

一看对教材的增添内容是否有效;二看对教材所作的必要的删减是否合理;三看对教材的排列顺序作的调整重组是否科学;四看对教材中新、旧知识的联系是否自然;(2)通过反思,及时对教学实效进行分析思考,改进教案。

现在使用的牛津版教材词汇量大、内容深奥、时尚性强、难度大,针对这一情况,我们组现在强调在跨备课组听课之前一定要做一些准备。

听课时,不仅要关注教师的教,更要关注学生的学。

对于教师的教,听课时重点应该关注的是:(1)课堂教学确定怎样的教学目标;(2)新课如何导入;(3)创设怎样的教学情境;(4)采用哪些教学方法和教学手段;(5)设计了哪些教学活动步骤;(6)使哪些知识系统化,巩固哪些知识,补充哪些知识;(7)培养学生哪些方面的技能;(8)渗透哪些教学思想;(9)课堂教学氛围如何。

对于学生的学习活动,听课时应该关注:(1)学生是否在教师的引导下积极参与到学习活动中;(2)学习活动中学生经常做出怎样的情绪反应;(3)学生是否乐于参与思考、讨论、争辩、动手操作;(4)学生是否经常积极主动地提出问题等等。

听课后,听课老师一定要加强个人的思考和整理,评课不要面面俱到,要有侧重点,不要只说优点,不替缺点。

通过以上三个环节,教师在评课时自然就更有针对性和说服力。

(三)“有效利用多媒体资源”尽量采用多媒体资源进行课堂教学,尤其是在低年级(七、八年级)用多媒体课件进行课堂教学是很有优势的。

多媒体教学为我们提供了克服传统教学弊端的全新的教学方式,使抽象的、枯燥的学习内容转化成形象的、有趣的、可视的、可听的动感内容,成为英语教学的发展趋势。

这样不但增强了学生学习英语的兴趣,而且在讲解一些内容比较抽象的课文时,还可以为学生提供直观形象的场景,便于学生理解、记忆、矫正发音错误;运用多媒体电脑教学,还可以大大提高课堂容量,是课堂内容更加充实。

引导学生主动学习;多媒体教学新颖活泼的形式更能激发学生学习的兴趣和热情,从而形成一个良性循环的学习过程。

多媒体教学很好地弥补了传统英语教学的缺陷,可极大地提高教学效率和教学质量,对于培养学生的听、说、读、写能力有着积极的作用。

(四)教学形式的多样化、教学手段的新颖性英语教师要注意教学形式的多样性,使课堂富于变化。
