口译课程论文

经济与管理学院1002班上学期我们学习了口译这门课程,使我对口译工作有了初步的了解和认识,自己也总结出了一些通过口译训练来提高记忆力的方法。

口译是翻译的一种形式,指译员以口头的形式将一种语言所表达的内容忠实地用另一种语言表达出来.它最大的特点是具有现场性和局限性。笔译讲究“信、达、雅”,口译则强调“准、顺、快”。准:即准确,指准确理解原语信息并完整无误的将其译成目的语。顺:即通顺,指译员用目的语表达原语信息时要通顺流畅,符合语言表达规范。快:即译员反应要快,讲话人的话音刚落,译员就要开始翻译。

口译的过程首先是听解,然后是记忆和转换,然后表达出来。我觉得理解是一个很重要的环节,它需要运用语言知识和语言外知识然后进行综合分析。我之前参加过湖北省翻译大赛的口译,是交替传译,觉得自己在这方面做得不太好,一个句子听到之后自己都没有理清楚就无从翻译了,这和平时的知识面和外语功底有很大关系。

目前也由于我国对外越来越开放,各国由于地域语言不通,在展开经济政治乃至生活中的交流时,口译就起到了很大的作用,译员通过自己的知识将一种民族的语言加以思维加工转换成另外一个民族的语言,促进不同民族之间的交流。

我们知道口译是一种高智力和高技能的活动,要在瞬间把握两种语言的转换,当场得到预期的反应,并非一件易事。它要求译员要有敏捷的思维,超强的反应能力和记忆能力以及抗干扰能力。特别是记忆能力,经过一个学期对口译这门课程的学习,老师的指导和训练以及自己的总结,根据记忆的特征我归纳出一些可以提高口译记忆力的方法。

口译记忆有三种类型:即瞬时记忆、短时记忆和长时记忆。记忆的效果与记忆材料的类型有一定的关系,考虑到记忆的不同类型和影响记忆的种种因素,我们可以采取以下几种方法进行相关的记忆训练。

一、加强基础知识学习,增加词汇量和自己的知识面。

我觉得这对于口译记忆力的提高有很大帮助,只有自己的知识面广了,才

能更好地应付在实际口译工作中出现的新词,更好的去转换,应用。同时,语言都具有固定搭配的特征,脑海中记忆的多了,翻译时就会很自然的联想到,所以提高自己的知识面对于提高翻译记忆力具有重要作用。

二、记忆一些口译特有的符号和简写,便于记笔记。

由于口译工作的瞬时性,在进行有笔口译时笔记发挥了很大的作用,但要求我们记笔记的速度要非常快,一边手写一边听新的内容。所以符号和简写就非常重要,在课堂上老师已经教授了我们许多关于简写和符号表示,例如,东西南北方位词就用箭头表示;城市、国家就用首字母大写缩写表示;问句就用问号表示等等,大大简化了记忆的内容,简单清晰,便于记忆。

三、根据信息视觉化和现实化进行训练。

这就是将信息内容现实化、视觉化来记忆信息的能力,利用我们的右脑的图像功能。根据科学调查显示,人类通过图像来进行记忆比其他形式的记忆能起到更好的效果,记忆的更准确更长久。例如译员听到一段描写中国万里长城的内容,这时译员就可以在脑海里勾勒一幅万里长城宏伟的图景,想像自己俯瞰万里长城。然后译员再通过自己的语言将这幅图描述出来,既简单生动,又形象清晰。

四、逻辑分层化记忆训练。

通常,人们能较好地识记逻辑层次清晰、结构紧凑的篇章。训练时,我们可以从一些条理清晰的篇章入手,锻炼自己的逻辑思维和整理识记的能力。在听一段口译材料时,注意抓住句首句末承接以及转换的词,方位词,连结词等,这样就能把我整段话的层次,更好的记忆。

五、平时要持之以恒坚持每天训练,训练时注意力集中。

一个好的口译员的炼成不是一朝一夕,所以我们要坚持每天都要训练一段时间,同时在训练时就要做到注意力集中。可以专门训练一下关于数字的翻译、专有词的翻译等。

其他提高口译记忆力的方法还有,在公众场合作一些即兴演讲,通过一些口译软件进行训练等。我最常用的一款口译软件是普特英语口译,它将口译训练分为六个部分,源语复述、译语复述、同声听译、精听五到十遍、译语复述、同声传译。我觉得这种训练起到了很好的记忆提高效果。

今后我也会坚持自己总结的方法,不断练习,提高自己的口译能力。

On Training Methods of Short-term Memory in Consecutive Interpreting ABSTRACT This paper is concerned with the training methods of short-term memory in consecutive interpreting. According to Effort Model from Daniel Gile, the short-term memory is an essential part in the process of interpreting. So, a good short-term memory is able to help interpreter improve the quality of interpreting. Except for the introduction in Chapter 1, in Chapter 2, there is above all an introduction about interpretation,and this can make us have a clear understanding about the short-term memory. The author holds that interpreting is a STM-centered activity own to its limitation to the time. In Chapter 3, the author describes Daniel Gile’s Effort Model in details even the four steps in it. In Chapter 4, how three types of memory systems work and what functions they have and illustration is focused on the concrete contacts between the short-term memory and interpreting, which is the main topic of the paper. In Chapter 5, based on all above, four training methods of short-term memory are elaborated such as visualizing, reasoning, chunking and outlining. Finally, some cases would be quoted to introduce the application of training methods. The author hopes that these training methods from this paper could be useful for interpreters. 第34卷第10期2017年10月 吉林化工学院学报 JOURNAL OF JILIN INSTITUTE OF CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY V〇1.34N〇.10 Oct.2017 文章编号:1007-2853(2017) 10-0069-03 关于数学专业英语课程的研究与探讨 许洁 (吉林化工学院理学院,吉林吉林132022) 摘要:通过介绍数学专业英语课程开设目的,结合专业本身的特点对数学专业英语课程进行研究,分析 当前数学专业英语课程在教与学过程中存在的问题,并对相应问题的解决提出思考。希望通过对授课 方法,评价体系等方面的改革不断提高数学专业英语的实用性,培养出适应社会发展需要的专业化 人才。 关键词:数学专业英语;教学方法;评价体系 中图分类号:H319 文献标志码:A D0l:10.16039/https://www.360docs.net/doc/0010752204.html,22-1249.2017.10.017 随着计算机科学技术的迅速发展,人们进入 了高速发展的信息时代。信息时代拉近了人与人之间的距离,增进了国际间的交流合作。社会生活的信息化、经济的全球化,使英语的重要性日益突出。英语成为许多领域重要的通用语言。绝大多数学科前沿的学术论文都是用英文撰写。许多领域的学术、科技交流会议也以英语作为官方语 言的首选。培养具有国际交流能力的人才势在必行,掌握具有国际交流能力的专业人才又成为高 校培养人才的重中之重。 一、专业英语课程开设的目的 伴随着人类社会进入21世纪,我国的教育也面临着如何进一步与国际接轨的问题。教育部提出了高等学校各专业逐步使用英文教材,培养学生阅读英文版专业文献的能力[1]。为适应人才 培养的需要,高等院校根据各专业的实际情况开 设适应各专业的专业英语、科技外语阅读等课程。通过类似课程的学习使学生增加本专业的专业词汇的英文表达方式。数学,作为古老的学科为适 应新形式下教学改革的需要同样面临着如何与国际接轨的问题。探讨数学专业英语的特点,如何很好的开设这门课程成为很多从事该课程的一线教师关注的热点[2-6]。数学专业英语具有科技英 语的共性、科学内容的客观麵性、表达形式的完整性和简练性要求[7]。数学专业英语作为高等 院校的一门重要课程,是以大学英语为基础,是数学专业的基础课程之一。通过本课程的学习,使学生能够适应国际、国内数学教育的发展,了解本专业的最新发展动态,开拓学生的视野。通过教师讲解,结合学生课后查阅英文资料,培养学生 听、说、写的综合能力,掌握本专业的当前动态和 前沿发展,为进一步的学习、工作打下坚实的 基础。 二、数学专业英语的特点 数学专业英语与许多其他专业的专业英语类似,不能简单的定义为一门专业基础课程或者是 英语课程。数学的专业知识和大学英语课程的基础都是学好数学专业英语的关键。本课程是对于数学专业学生专业英语能力训练和培养的一门重要课程,是对大学高年级学生继公共英语课程之 后的一个重要补充和提高。数学专业英语与大学英语既有区别又有联系。 数学专业英语课程中,数学的专业性十分典 型。数学专业英语以叙述的方式介绍数学的方 法、推导过程及主要结论。其学科本身的特点决 定了其内容通常与特定的时间无关。数学课程或是数学文献中涉及到的结论有时是很久以前给出的,但在叙述的过程中一細现时絲表示。 收稿日期:017-04-05 基金项目:吉林化工学院2016年一般教研项目 作者简介:许洁(1980-),女,吉林省吉林市人,吉林化工学院副教授,博士,主要从事矩阵代数方面的研究。
