We have many rules in our school. For example, We can’t get to school late. I think it’s a good rule. It can make us begin studying on time. Second, We have to wear our school uniforms every day. I don't care about the clothes. I think we should concentrate more on our studies than our clothes. Anyway, the rules in our school are strict, but they are helpful to students.

2. Do you think teenagers should be allowed to choose their own clothes? Why( Why not)?

I think teenagers should be allowed to choose our own clothes. There are two reasons. First, most of us think our school uniforms are ugly, we would like to wear our own clothes. If we do that, we would look smart and we would feel more comfortable. Second, we will feel much happier if we wear our own clothes. Seeing colorful and original clothes will not make us feel bored.

3. List some rules of you school.

We have many rules in our school. Such as, we can’t get to school late. Second, we have to wear our school uniform every day. Third, we can’t run in the hallways. Fourth, we can’t eat in the classroom, we must eat in the dining hall. Fifth, we can’t listen to music in class and so on.

I think the rule that we have to wear school uniforms should be changed. There are two reasons. First, I think our school uniforms are ugly. They can’t make us look smart. Second the quality of our school uniform is not good enough. They make us uncomfortable. I think our school should allow us to design our own clothes, and in this way, we will like our new school uniforms and look smart.

1. Please describe your bedroom.

My bedroom is big and beautiful. The wall in my bedroom is blue and there are many posters on the wall. There is a bed, a desk, a computer and a bookshelf in my bedroom. The bookshelf is near the bed. The computer is on the desk in the front of bed. I like my computer very much, and it’s good for my study. And my bed room is always clean and tidy because I clean it every day. I love my bedroom!

I like my school very much. There’re two reasons. First, the environment is good there. We have three playgrounds. We can play sports and exercise on the playgrounds to relax after class. Besides, there’re many trees and beautiful flowers in my school. Some students like reading and walking in the schoolyard during the break time. Second, I like my teachers. They not only teach the knowledge but also care about me when I’m sick, stressed out or sad. They’re just like my family member.

Wherever you go in Qingdao, don’t miss the May 4th Square. It’s near the sea. The environment there is very beautiful and the transportation is convenient, so there are lots of visitors every year. Qingdao is a seaside city. So the weather in Qingdao is neither too hot in summer nor too cold in winter. It is very comfortable to live in Qingdao. Many people come to Qingdao in summer for vacations because it’s much cooler than the other parts of China, and sometimes it rains. It’s cool and windy in spring and autumn. And in winter, it’s not too cold, but sometimes it snows.

I usually do the housework for my parents. There’re two reasons. First, they take care of me all year round in order that I can have more rest time after school. In fact, they’re very tired after a day’s work, so I’ll do the housework on their birthdays so that they can have a good rest that day and it can also make them happy. Second, doing housework is also a good way to learn. We usually learn the knowledge form the books, but we can also learn a lot from the daily life. It helps me be independent in the future.

2. What will you buy as a gift for your friend’s birthday? Why？(至少两点理由)

I will buy her/him an album. First, I think it’s special enough. Many people like giving CDs, books or some personal things as a gift, but I think they’re too common. And as she always says: “It’s the thought that counts.” I believe this gift must be her favorite. What’s more important, the album will be filled with our photos. It can remind her of the happy time we are together. It must be a great memory after several years. I believe my friend will like it.

3. What should you do if your friends are in trouble? (至少两点)

First, I will be a good listener to make sure what his problem is, and at the same time, I’ll think about how to deal with his problem. Besides, talking is also a good way to release himself. After complaining, I think his problem will be solved mostly. Second, I’ll give him some good advice. If he has trouble learning, I’d like to share (分享) my learning secrets with him. If he argued with his parents, I will cheer him up in my way.

First, I’ll give him some good advice to take care of himself such as taking medicine on time, drinking lots of water and having a good rest. Second, I’ll go to his home to help with his homework and stay with him till he feels well. I think he’ll be happier.

Yes, I like helping others. Because first, helping others makes me popular. I’ll make more friends after I do that. And maybe next time when I’m in trouble, my friends will help me too. After all, helping others is helping ourselves. Second, during helping others, it helps me learn a lot. Knowledge can be learned not only from books but also from the daily life. Helping others gives me the chance to be better. In the end, giving is better than receiving.

Helping others makes me happy. One day, it rained heavily. While I was walking back home, I saw an old lady studying at the bus stop. She was almost wet. Without hesitation(犹豫), I gave my umbrella to her. Though I became a very wet dog when I was back home, I still felt it happy to help others.

2. Say something that makes you feel upset.

Telling lies makes me upset. I never tell lies, but last Friday I told a lie to my math teacher. I had too much homework that day, so I couldn’t finish my math homework. When my math teacher, Miss Yan asked me about it, I told her that I had finished it, but I left it at home. Miss Yan said this is the first time for me to leave homework at home, so she believed me. My face turned red and felt upset. And I will never tell lies.

I think I’m pretty healthy because I have good eating habits. First, I eat a balanced diet. I often eat a lot of fruit and vegetables every day. And I try to eat less meat because there’s too much fat. Second, I never drink coffee or tea. I think they’re for adults. I drink milk and lots of water instead. It helps me be stronger and healthier.

2. Which do you like better, Chinese food or fast food? Why or why not? (至少两点理由)

I like Chinese food better. Because first, Chinese food is our traditional food. It is delicious and I have been used to it. Second, Chinese food is much healthier. It’s made from fresh vegetables and meat, while fast food is often made by frying. It’s bad. It can increase the risk of cancer. Though fast food is convenient, I like Chinese food better.

3. Introduce the instruction of one of your favorite dishes.

I like banana milk shake best and it’s easy to make it. First, peel three bananas, and cup them up. Second, put them into the blender and pour some milk and two teaspoons of ice cream into it. Third, turn on the blender for one minute. At last, turn off the blender and drink it. It is a good drink in summer.

Table manners are very important in China. We have many table manners. First, we shouldn’t stick chopsticks into the food. It’s impolite to do so. Instead, we should put the chopsticks beside the bowl. And we shouldn’t point at anyone with the chopsticks, either. Second, we can’t eat while talking. It’s impolite, too. We should eat quietly and quickly.

As a student, I think it’s important to keep in good manner. First, we should be polite. When asking a stranger for help, we should say, “ Excuse me, I wonder if you can help me.” And when receiving things, we should use two hands. Second, in public places, we should follow the rules, such as never dropping litter or spitting because it’s bad for environment and health.
