While common snails（蜗牛）are often small and slow, there is one kind of snail that is not only three times the size of a common one but also very destructive. But how can a snail cause problems for people and even make the news?

The Giant African land snails native to East Africa but has been introduced to a number of other countries in Asia and America. Hi, my name is Murry Wenzel. But my friends call me Muz, Muzza, Wenz or even Moon. Yes, I have lots of nicknames(昵称；绰号). But in Australia, where I am from, that’s quite common.

In fact most men in Australia call their friends something other than their real name. It is part of our culture to shorten or make up names for those we know and love. Johnny lived with his mother and father who were the owners of a clothes store in a small town
