In recent years, there is an increasing number of college or university students go to pursue graduate studies, also known as the craze of pursuing graduate studies. However, the increasing craze of pursuing graduate studies has also caused many problems in the meanwhile.

近几年，越来越多的大学生追求研究生学习，这一现象也叫研究生求学热。然而，研究生求学热的不断升温也已经同时引起了很多问题。

On one hand, the crazy of pursuing graduate studies has reflected the students’eagerness of knowledge and the progress of the society. In addition, the craze of pursuing graduate studies has alleviated employment pressure in a manner.

一方面，研究生求学热反应了学生对知识的渴望和社会的进步。另外，研究生求学热以某种方式缓解了就业压力。

But on the other hand, many problems have followed. In the first place, with the development of the craze of pursuing graduate studies, a lot of colleges and universities have carried out the postgraduate education enrollment expansion policy. The policy has some bad impact on the quality of postgraduate education. Moreover, the craze of pursuing graduate studies has increased the difficulty for the graduate employment. With the increase of the graduate students, the postgraduate diploma has devaluated in some degree and that has caused the graduate students suffer more when hunting jobs. Last but not the least, the craze of pursuing of graduate studies has great impact on students themselves. For one thing, it has greatly increased the pressure from competition between students which has a great influence on students’physical and mental health. For another, those who have a fanatical pursuit for qualification or degree are usually lack of practical ability and have less knowledge than others.

但是，另一方面，很多问题也随之而来。首先，随着研究生求学热的发展，很多高校实施了研究生教育的扩招政策。这一政策对研究生教育产生不良影响。而且，研究生求学热增加了毕业生就业的困难。随着毕业生的增多，研究生文凭在某种程度上已经贬值了，致使毕业生在找工作过程中承受更多困难。最后但也同样重要的一点，研究生呢个求学热对大学生本身也产生很大影响。一方面，它大大增加了学生之间的竞争压力，这对学生的身体和精神

都产生很大的影响。另一方面，那些学历或学位有着狂热的追求的人常常却反实践能力，并且比其他人懂得更少的知识。

In a word, the craze of pursuing graduate studies has been a hot topic on campus. As far as I am concerned, we should take a critical attitude to treat this phenomenon.

总之，研究生求学热已经成为校园的热题。在我看来，我们应该采取批判的态度对待这一现象。

学生应该做兼职工作吗？

Although still much lower than in foreign countries, the percentage of university students taking part-time jobs in China is on the increase. Some people criticize these students on the ground that part-time jobs distract转移students' attention and expose students too early to the issue of money. However, I firmly believe that working during university education can be very beneficial to students.

在中国大学生做兼职工作的比例在上升，虽然仍比国外低得多。一些人当场批评这些学生，指出兼职工作转移了学生的注意力，让学生接触到钱的问题还为时过早。但是，我坚信，在大学期间工作对学生是非常有利的。

First of all, taking part-time jobs can help reduce the financial burden of the students' families. Generally speaking, the income of most parents is not very high. As many universities are increasing their tuition, the education of their children is becoming an increasingly heavy burden for many parents. Some parents in the cities find it hard to pay this cost, not to mention those parents in the countryside. But if students can take some part-time jobs, their income can cover part of the expenditure, thus lowering the burden of their parents. One of my classmates pays for daily expenses completely from his own bearings, and both his parents and he are very proud of it.

首先，兼职工作可以帮助减轻学生家庭的经济负担。一般来说，大多数父母收入不是很高。许多大学也在提高学费，对于许多家长来说孩子教育问题的负担变得越来越沉重。一些城市里的家长发现很难支付此费用，更不用说那些在农村的父母了。但是如果学生可以做一

Furthermore, taking part-time jobs can teach students much about hardship. Chinese students are mostly the only child at home, and their requests are usually met at any cost. This advantage actually deprives these children of the opportunity to experience hardship, which can teach them a lot about the society. By taking some part-time jobs, students can not only learn that it is hard to earn even a little money, but also learn to cultivate a correct viewpoint about life.

此外，兼职工作可以教导学生什么是艰苦。中国大多数学生都是独生子女，所以他们的要求无论如何都会得到满足。这一优势实际上剥夺了这些孩子体验艰苦的机会，这些艰苦可以教他们很多关于社会的知识。通过做一些兼职工作，学生不仅可以学到赚一点钱都是很难的，也要学会培养正确的人生观。

Most importantly, doing part-time jobs can sharpen students' awareness of the society. If students spend all their time on study, they will not have sufficient understanding of the society, and this insufficient knowledge may be dangerous when these students leave university for the society. But through part-time work, students will not only get a good understanding of the society and prepare themselves psychologically for the future career and life, but gain much experience in dealing with realities and people of different kinds.

最重要的是，做兼职工作可以提高学生的社会意识。如果学生把所有的时间都花在学习上，他们就不会足够的了解社会，而当这些学生离开大学踏入社会时那些不充足的知识可能是危险的。但通过兼职工作，学生不仅会很好的了解这个社会社会而且在心理上可以为未来的职业和生活作好准备，还可以在处理现实和不同的人的事情上得到经验。

It is true that taking part-time jobs will take away some time that can be spent on study and that it is not good for students to focus their mind on money. But it is equally true that taking part-time jobs can bring students the benefits of less financial burden, more experience of hardship as well as more awareness of the society. They definitely surpass the harms of the work. What we should do is to teach students to arrange their time well and not to focus too much on money, and then encourage them to take part-time jobs.

这是真的，兼职工作会占据一些可以花在学习上时间而且学生把焦点放在金钱上是不好的。但同样这也是真的，兼职工作可以让学生减少财政负担，获得更多的艰苦经历以及更多的社会意识。他们绝对优于工作带来的危害。我们应该做的是教导学生合理安排时间，不要过于注重金钱，之后鼓励学生参加兼职工作。

On Private Car

Nowadays more and more families own private cars. Private cars, as the product of modem civilization, have been playing a vital role in people's daily activities. First, private cars are a convenient means of transportation. You can go wherever you like. Secondly, there is no doubt that private cars will have a great impact on the economic growth. The rapid car industry growth will contribute much to keeping the country's economy growing at a higher rate in the near future.

现在，越来越多的家庭拥有私家车。私家车作为现代文明的产物，在人们日常生活中扮演了重要的角色。首先，私家车是很方便的交通工具，你可以开车到处跑；其次，毫无疑问私家车对经济的增长起到很大的作用。在不久的将来，快速发展的汽车工业在保持国家以较高速度的增长方面将做出很大的贡献。

But every coin has two sides. The development of the private cars will bring about a series of problems. For example, the polluted air given off by cars will do great harm to our health, too many private cars will lead to traffic jams and a great deal of energy will be wasted and so on.

当然，任何事物都有其两面性。快速发展的私家车会导致一系列问题。例如，汽车排出的废气对人体有很大的伤害，太多的私家车会导致交通阻塞，很多能源被浪费等。

So I think we should take advantages of private cars and make them serve us better. Meantime we hope that satisfactory solutions to these negative problems will be found soon.

所以我认为我们应当充分利用私家车的优势，更好地为我们服务。同时，我们也希望不久之后这些消极的问题将会得到圆满的解决。

The Celebration of Western Festivals

This phenomenon happens for many reasons. First, Western culture is relatively strong, such as youth usually watch the Hollywood films, western music, so young people feel more Western festival more fashionable.

Second, Western festivals have relatively more human touch. Like Father's Day and Mother's Day attach great importance to family love, therefore also more likely to be accepted by youth. In addition, our traditional culture is relatively weak. We, as young people, should strive to carry forward the traditional culture. We have to change the outdated concept of more traditional festivals. We can learn from them , adhering to being open minded and also preserve Chinese festivals heritage. Because only what belongs to the nation, belong to the world.

But on the other side,techonogy also bring some problems.For example,because of the computer,more and more people get addicted to it which as a result that they are not work hard enough.In additin,the

computers also have radiation that is not good to our health.What's worse,many countries use the technology to invite the weapon which is do harm to the world peace. At last ,in my opinion,we can't deny the advantage of the technology,but people should use it in a good way and responsiblily in order to make our society more bueatiful.
