一、Part One: Economics, please answer the following questions (10% each, 30%)

1、Please explain how absolute advantage and comparative advantage differ, and give an example in which one person has an absolute advantage in doing something but another person has a comparative advantage.

答:(1.)Differences: The same producer may have an absolute advantage in the same time, but it is not possible to have a comparative advantage in two of the two items. Absolute advantage reflects the level of productivity, comparative advantage reflects the relative opportunity cost.

(2.) E.g:Muhammad Ali boxing match or whether it is to clean up the garbage in front of their own than the neighbor boy Mike more efficient. Ali, half-hour event will receive $ 50,000, he could finish within half an hour to clean up the garbage. Ali and Mike cleaning up garbage home 1 hour, at the same time, he can go out to work well too $ 10. As can be seen, Ali has absolute advantage in both. But Mike rubbish opportunity cost is $ 10, the opportunity cost of Ali is $ 50,000. Thus, in the rubbish Mike has a comparative advantage.

答: In my opinion, The cultural industry contributes most to the development of soci al economy.The fllow chart is the development of Nan Jing cultural industry and the s tatistics is from 1993 to 2011.

From the chart ,you can see that the cultural industry contributes most to the devel opment of social economy.

1、In your opinion, what is the single most import aspect of the definition of management? Why? Which of Mintzberg’s ten managerial roles do you think you are best equipped to play? Explain.

Answer

1.Management in all business and organizational activities is the act of getting people together to accomplish desired goals and objectives efficiently and effectively. Management is the process of working with and through others to achieve organizat ional objectives in a changing environment. Central to this process is the effective and efficient use of limited resources. achieving organizational objectives can ensures tha t the corporate could reasonably and automatically match up the departments to coordi nate the pace of different work, forming a unified whole.

2. I think I can be best equipped to play the role of Resource allocator. The allocation of human resources is to fully make use of physical strength, intelligence, knowledge, creativity and skills, and promote human resources and material resources to achieve a more perfect combination, to maximize the social benefit and economic benefit. Rea sonable allocation of human resources is one of the basic elements of social vitality. It not only can make the human resource structure of social organization within the reas onable. It can maximize the use, give full scope to the talents, so that each person's int elligence and potential into full play.

2、What is market segmentation all about and how could it be used in a certain business? How can a company encourage brand loyalty and repurchase? 答:(1)Market segmentation is a marketing strategy that involves dividing a broad target market into subsets of consumers who have common needs and applications for the relevant goods and services. Depending on the specific characteristics of the product, these subsets may be divided by criteria such as age and gender, or other distinctions, like location or income. Marketing campaigns can then be designed and implemented to target these specific customer segments.

(2)Brand loyalty is where a person buys products from the same manufacturer repeat edly rather than from other suppliers.Thus, encouraging brand loyalty and repurchase is dramatically for a company. And we can take some measures as follow:

1.A frequent flyer program. Frequent flyer scheme is the most direct and effectiv

e way to keep customer loyalty, it can not only improve the value o

f a brand, also can let consumer feel, his loyalty was rewarded.

2.Establishing member club. Member club is an effective method to build custo mer loyalty, like "frequent flyer scheme", to allow customers to truly feel that they are valued. And in contrast, it can let customers have a higher sense of participation.

3、Try to choose a company, and give an example of vocabulary of Strategic Management.

Answer:

Core elements of McDonald’s strategy. Firstly, McDonald’s set a target to add 2500 restaurants annually and promote frequent customer visits via attractive menu items , low-price specials and Extra Value Meals. Then, McDonald’s are highly selective in granting franchises and located on sites offering convenience to customers and p rofitable growth potential. Besides, McDonal d’s also focus on limited menu and co nsistent quality, they also have careful attention to store efficiency. What’s more, McDonald’s have great use of Mc prefix and extensive advertising.

And McDonald’s hire courteous personnel and pay an equitable wage and provide g ood training for all employees.

(2) Interviews are one of the most popularly used devices for employee selection. First, the company's basic situation is important, and position and responsibility of this position and the job requirements.Do some background research to become famili ar with the organization.

Besides, you should also check for the company line in case of being late and leave ba d impression for interviewers.
