The café I’d like to talk about is the most popular one in my hometown, it’s called blue moon, which is located in the northern part of the city, quite near where I live .I usually go there o nce a week cause I’d like to relax there after a whole week’s study.

They have all kinds of drinks and a variety of coffee. They sell special hot and cold coffee drinks like latte and white chocolate Mocha .They also serve ice-cream and the best desserts The snacks come in small dishes and small amount .It’s rather for taste than for you to cram yourself up .Besides, they have pretty good food like potato chips ,hamburgers and sandwiches ,but it can be a bit pricey if you eat dinner there.

I like it because I love the aroma of coffee, you know when you walk inside, you can smell the coffee in the air and it feels great. What’s more, it has fantastic environment, which is tidy, spotless and comfortable. I t’s really a cozy and comfy heaven for me. Also, staff there are enthusiastic, helpful and optimistic. I even made a friend there, whose name is Helen and we still keep in touch with each other now. Actually, she just sent me a message to wish me have a good mark today.

I’d like to go there with my friends on weekends, it’s a good place for me to relieve the pressure and to chitchat with my friends.I’m really into this café.

Well, the second language out of English I’d like to learn is Spanish, the official language of Spain and most of latin American coun tries. It’s also one of the six official languages of the United Nations. In my perspective, Spanish is so euphonic and clear, like music and breeze.

I still remember the first time when I heard this beautiful language. It was about 5 years ago, a famous Chinese drama used a Spanish song called ’YO TE AMO’，which means “I love you” in English to be its theme song. Since then, I have been addicted to Spanish .But unfortunately, I haven’t learned it cause I have been really busy with my study. However, if I had adequate time, I would learn it in a language class, maybe given by a native speaker, coz I believe it’s really difficult for me to learn it myself. In order to

learn it well, I would also buy some dictionaries and Spanish song CDs to help me to know more about this language.

As for why I’d like to lear n Spanish, I think the main reason is that it has always been a dream for me to travel around Spain as a backpacker, to enjoy the local artistic atmosphere , and also to watch a bullfight.

Anyway if I could speak Spanish , I’d plan a trip to Spain. How a wesome and inspiring to speak a local language when traveling.

A city you visited

Speaking of a city I’ve visited, I’d like to talk about Dalian which is a gorgeous seaside city, located in the northeast part of China. My parents and I went there last year summer vocation.(这里没问题，老师说口语就是这么说的)

The scenery there is awesome, what I mean is that you can enjoy the brilliant sunshine and listen to the sea lapping the shore. It was amazing, you know.I also enjoyed the azure sky and crystal water, that is so impressive that I will remember it deep in my heart. We also did some out door activities, such as swimming, boating and having BBQ with my parents.

What’s more, seafood there is also attractive. I have to say, compared with other places, seafood in Dalian is the most delicious and fresh. It’s absolutely delicacy. So nice! People there are helpful, enthusiastic and optimistic. I even made a friend there, whose name is Hellen and we still keep in touch with each other now. Actually, she just sent me a message to wish me have a good mark today.

I’m really into this city. Not only because of the beautiful scenery and delicious seafood, but also because that I made a friend there. It’s really impressive.

A real person film

Speaking of a real person film,I'd like to talk about a quite unforgettable one, which is called "Be brave".I just watched it several days ago with my boyfriend.

As for what happened in this movie, I'd like to say it's about a boy, named Michel, who lost his parents in a terrible car accident. After that, he was adopted by his neighbor. I reckon that this film is quite special. Firstly, I have to say, compared with other films, the plot of this one is the most attractive and tortuous I've ever watched. In addition, I fancy the background music ,which is really unforgettable. I mean not only the lyric, but also the melody .And the most important one is that I acquired inspiration from this film, which is being brave and optimistic, also active. No matter what setbacks I am or I will meet in the future, I will be a tough girl, never give up. Never lose hope.

A change

Speaking of a recent change in my life, I’d like to talk about the one that I have become more brave and optimistic to everything around me. As for when it happened, I’d like to say just after I watched a film called “be brave” several weeks ago.

The film is mainly about a boy, named Michel, who lost his parents in a terrible car

accident. After that, he was adopted by his neighbor. However, to everyone's surprise, he didn't become a boy with isolated, self-centered and unsociable personality. Instead, he was pretty optimistic and enthusiastic to his life. And the most important thing is that he cultivated his hobby, I mean playing football, and eventually he was admitted by the most famous football club in his country. So I got this recent change from this film. I mean ,compared with his difficulties, what I meet is pretty simple, so there is no reason for me to feel desperate.

I really reckon that I benefit a lot from this change, and I acquired inspiration from this change, which is being brave and optimistic, also active. No matter what setbacks I am or I will meet in the future, I will be a tough girl, never give up. Never lose hope. Now I’m more optimistic to all the difficulties I meet in my life and I have the courage to overcome all of them.

A math lesson

Well, the math lesson I’d like to talk about is an open class, called “the mysteries of mathematics”, which was delivered by a famous math teacher in my hometown, called Miss li.

Actually, it was about more than 10 years ago when I was still a primary school student, who had quite little knowledge about math. But I could still recall this lesson quite well, coz it was really an interesting lesson. My teacher brought our class together to the auditorium of my primary school, where we had an mathematical enlightenment class. As I was still a little girl at that time, there were a lot of theories, which were really all Greek to me. However, Miss li used her own method that made the theories much more simple and attractive for us. The most interesting example I could still remember was that she used a funny story to show us how to use equations to solve math problems. Like, some chickens and rabbits are in a big cage, there are altogether maybe 20 heads and 54 legs, so how many chickens and rabbits are there in the cage. It was a quite interesting lesson, and from then on I started to love this subject and learnt it with great passion. It’s really an awesome math lesson.

A gift you gave to others

Speaking of a gift I gave to others, I’d like to talk about a book, which I gave my cousin as a birthday present just a few weeks ago. My cousin is a little younger than me. She is a gorgeous girl, with long black hair, expressive eyes as well as a roman nose.

Now, she is a freshman at one of the top universities in my country, and she met some difficulties in her study, which made her a little frustrated. So I gave her this book, called “be brave ” to her, to cheer her up. The book is mainly about a boy, named Michel, who lost his parents in a terrible car accident. Speaking of the advertisement that made me buy something, I would like to talk about a really interesting commercial from pepsi.

I remember I watched it on the internet several weeks ago. Actually, it wasn’t broadcasted in China. At that day, when I was chatting with one of my friends online, he sent me the link of this advertisement, saying that it was definitely a stimulating and creative commercial. It told a funny story. A little boy was playing football game with his companions. Later, he was worn-out and quite thirsty. Then, he came to a vending machine(自动贩卖机). He found the press-button for pepsi was too high for him to reach. After gazing it for a moment, he chose the button for coca-cola, which was at a low height. At that time, I thought it was just a normal advertisement for coca-cola. Then freaking me out, the boy put second coin to get another coca-cola. And he put two cans on the ground, stepping on them to reach the button for pepsi! After getting it, he was quite joyful.

I think this advertisement is quite amusing and creative. Although it seems to kind of, you know, depreciate(贬低)its competitor, for me, I pretty appreciate the creativity and admire the author for this commercial. That’s why from then on I have determined to become a pepsi fan and bought a host of products of their company.

I really reckon that this is an interesting and creative advertisement, and it is the originality for me to buy many cans of Pepsi rather than coca cola.

Speaking of a person who became my good friend at first meeting, I'd like to talk about Michel, who has been my next door neighbor for several years. He is 21 years old and studies in one of the top universities in my country. well, In my perspective, he is quite charming, with short straight black hair and you know expressive eyes【z】, as well as a roman nose. He always smiles, so friendly.

The first time I met him was when he moved in our building, I helped him to carry his stuff and we chit chatted for a long time. We found that we had a lot in common, like we are all die-hard fans of American dramas. And He also shared his experiences with me. He lost his parents in a terrible car accident when he was still a little boy. After that, he was adopted by his neighbor. An important message

Well, the important message I’d like to talk about is the one which I got just a few days ago. It’s an email, sent by project hope, informing me that my application to be a volunteer teacher in a mountainous village in Guizhou province was approved.

Wow, It’s really an awesome message for me .As you may know, Project Hope is a Chinese non-government organization, aiming to bring schools into poverty-striken rural areas of China. Just about a month ago, I watched its recruitment advertisement for volunteer teachers during the following summer vocation.

At the first sight of the poor village on TV ,I was totally shocked and couldn’t believe my eyes. It was another world full of despair. And I’ll never forget the children’s eyes which are eager for knowledge. So I made up my mind to be a volunteer teacher there before I go to HK to pursue my further education. And now I’m preparing for it, I mean I need to review some lessons and try my best to be a good teacher.

This message is of vital importance to me, coz it gives me the opportunity to help the less fortunate. I couldn’t image anything better than helping the children there cause knowledge may change their lives. If they could have better education, they might be able to embrace a bright future.

An interesting speech

Speaking of an interesting speech I have heard, I’d like to talk about the one I heard just several weeks ago. It was given by our history teacher in university, who is in his 40s and looks quite charming with short straight black hair, expressive eyes as well as a roman nose.

As the dragon boat festival was coming at that time, I mean june the 12th, our teacher decided to give us a speech about the origin['?r?d??n] of this festival.

And you know, at that time ,china was divided into many small countries and all these countries were at war with each other. The rice balls became known as Zong zi. Zongzi are rice balls with red bean filling or meat filling wrapped[r?p]in leaves and steamed. That’s how we got a popular snack we eat during duanwujie. In Englis h it’s known as the dragon boat festival.

I really reckon that this is an interesting speech, coz from it I know the origin of the dragon boat festival and the reason why we eat zongzi during this festival. More importantly, from this speech I have a better understanding of Chinese history and Chinese tradition.

A way to keep you stay healthy

Speaking of a way to keep healthy, I’d like to talk about playing badminton, which is my favorite sport. I mean I grew up playing badminton, you know it’s a very common sport in China. It’s not a sport that requires expensive equipment or facilities, so people from all levels can play it. You just need a racket and a net. It’s not like golf or other sports which are really expensive to play.

Badminton is suitable for everyone. I play it almost every week. During the weekends, I will call my friends and we will set up a game. We normally play badminton in the courts[k?:t] next to my home. You know next to my home, there is a nice little park and in the park there are some outdoor courts that we can play. So during the weekends when the sun is nice, we will play badminton and enjoy the afternoons when we are surrounded by trees and flowers and it just feel so greet. It’s almost become a routine to play badminton on weekend afternoons.

This sport is a test of one’s endurance and agility [??d?iliti] as well as coordination skills. Badminton really promotes our competitive spirit and at the same time it’s a really great type of exercise because it get’s your whole body moving. I really enjoy it because it’s fun to play and I can have a blast with my friends when playing it. More importantly, it’s a good way to keep healthy.

A place where people go to listen to music

Speaking of a place where people listen to music ,I’d like to talk about the Wu Ke Song Stadium in Beijing. As for what kind of music is performed there, I’d like to say it’s pop music. And this place is quite attractive to young people, just like me, coz many superstars whether international or domestic have their concerts here. I remember

three years ago, backstreet boys came to China for their concert and it was held at the Wu Ke Song stadium. Also many Chinese stars have held their concerts here, like liyuchun and xiaojingteng.

The stadium hosts many large events so it has wonderful facilities to accommodate visitors. The stadium can accommodate over 10 thousand people and the stereo ('ster???) systems and the amps(?mp) provide a nice surround sound.

Although it’s facilities cannot compare with the national theater, the music quality of live concerts is still quite nice. I think the reason why people like going there to listen to music is because they want to have a live experience. Live concerts have a totally different experience compared to listening to CDs. And this is a place that can give them a great live experience. Personally, I’m keen on this place, and I have been to there twice for concerts. And in the future, I would also like to enjoy live music there, as long as I have time.

An unusual job

Speaking of an unusual job I want to do in the future, I’d like to be a professional Traveler, so that I can have the opportunity to travel to many places around the world using different forms of transportation, like ships, biking, trains, airplane and cars.

As for what I would do in that job, I think I will travel to many places, and take a host of pictures to memorize the wonderful moments. I would also experience l different cultures and have a taste of the local delicacies. It will be amazing! Moreover, I will write reviews and comments about the places I have been to and post it on the internet or magazines, so that I can earn a fee to make a living.

I really reckon that this job is quite unusual, coz I don’t have to stay in an office, and do the same thing everyday. My work place is on the road. It’s a fantastic job which gives me the chance to experience new things. And I really want to do this job, coz I can experience true freedom, meet new people, new events, and see parts of the world many people haven’t been to. Moreover, there won’t be any work pressure. More importantly, I think life is about experiences and when you have new experiences, your perspective start to change, I think I will feel I have a lot more than others because of these rich experiences I can get from this unusual job.

An outdoor activity you want to do for the first time

Speaking of an outdoor activity I want to do for the first time, I’d like to talk about marathon. And I want to try it mainly because I watched the Beijing international marathon on TV last year. You know the Beijing international marathon is a race of about 40 kms, which is usually held in October in Beijing. And last year I watched it with my boyfriend on TV. The race began at Tiananmen square and finished at the national Olympic sport center. Well I guess what makes me want to try it is that not only professional athletes are welcomed, but also normal individuals I mean just like you and me. So Instead of focusing on the professional athletes, we paid more attention to the normal people who took part in it. Regardless Of their age, their occupations, they all had the courage to challenge their own limits, Although they seemed to be completely exhausted, they didn’t give up.

So After watching it, my boyfriend and I hope that this year we could also take part in this race ,coz we really reckon that it’s a fantastic way to boost our endurance. You know perseverance is a key factor to success, so it’s really beneficial to us. And in order to try it, firstly we need to buy a pair of running shoes and more importantly, we need to do more exercise to enhance ourselves. I’m looking forward to trying this outdoor activity.

A person you know who made a wrong decision

Speaking of a person I know who made a wrong decision, I’d like to talk about my cousin Michael, who is just a little older than me and has graduated from one of the top universities in china. He made a wrong decision two years ago of giving up his career as an accountant and starting up his own business. And he has been regretting on this decision since then.

Mike is a very smart guy who did pretty well in university and managed to work as an accountant after his graduation. Things went smoothly until one day when Mike attended a talk given by a founder of a large IT firm. The founder described how he achieved the tremendous business success as well as his positive forecast of the booming future of the IT industry. It turned out that Mike had always been a lover of IT stuff and it had been his biggest hobby since long ago to develop some applications in his spare time. He was so inspired that he made a big decision almost immediately –starting up his own IT firm.

It was such a crazy idea that Mike could hardly get any support from his family and friends. However, Mike was very determined and enthusiastic about this plan .He pay all his savings. Unfortunately, his business venture did not go as well as Mike had expected. It turned out that there had already been a lot of applications with similar functions in

the market and therefore, Mike’s firm barely got any market share. Mike had to shut down his business after a few months of operations.

I think Mike had made this decision without giving sufficient consideration. He should have analyzed the situation before putting his idea into practice. So anyway it is totally a wrong decision which made him lose all his savings and his decent job.

An interesting COUNTRY YOU WOULD LIKE TO VISIT

Speaking of an interesting country I’d like to visit, I’d like to talk about Thailand, which lies in the heart of Southeast Asia. Thailand is a gorgerous country and it’s a popular travel destination for Chinese people. And there is an island I really want to visit, called phuket, which I think is a perfect vocation getaway. Speaking of a shopping street I’d like to go, I ‘d like to talk about Wangfujing Street in Beijing. As I’m studying in Beijing now, so I always go there for shopping. And it’s not far from my university, I can just take subway line 1 to go there within half an hour.

It has so many different places where you can shop. In fact, you can get almost anything you want somewhere on that street.

There are several popular shopping malls on this street, such as the Beijing Department Store, which is one of the oldest department stores in China. It has all types of things -- dresses, shoes, toys, children's clothes, household furnishings and food .Juntai department store and zhongyou department store are also located along the street .There are also many small shops that sell a wide variety of items. Some of these are very fancy and attractive. However, my favorite shop is definitely the off-price. It’s really a fantastic shop which sells all kinds of quality clothes and shoes. Moreover, they are all on sale, between 50 percent discount and 70 percent discount, so nice! You know, as a student I don’t have much money and I really need to economize my expenditure. So this shop is the best choice for me, and whenever I want to buy something I will go there. And that’s why Wangfujing street is my favorite shopping street.Moreover, the visit to this street helps me to relax, recharge my battery and make me more energetic to face my daily routine. Anyway, it’s really a wonderful shopping street.

Speaking of a childhood toy I’d like to talk about the Russian nested ['nest?d] doll which I often played with when I was a kid. It was a set of dolls in different sizes but the exactly same looks. It was given by my uncle as a present after he went on a trip to Russia, and I remember I was just 5 years old at that time.

The set of dolls contain 5 parts. The biggest one is about 20 centimeters tall .The painting looks extremely beautiful and artistic. It’s a lovely young Russian girl with a round

smiling face and wearing the traditional European dress. In her hands, she carries a basket of fresh fruits. It seems she is going back home to cook for the family.

I remember I was the first one owing a set of real Russian nested doll in my kindergarten, so I have to lend them to other kids when they asked for that. Unfortunately, the second smallest doll was missing soon. I got very sad and couldn’t make myself happy for a long time. Now, they are still placed in my toy box and I think I’ll always keep them as long as I could. Coz it’s not only my favorite childhood toy, but also it can remind me of the wonderful memories in my childhood. And I think when I have children; I would also buy them this kind of toy.

An electronic equipment (在家使用)

Speaking of a piece of electronic equ ipment I’d like to talk about the electronic air purifier which is placed in the living room of my flat. It was bought by my father several weeks ago, coz he wanted to provide us a better living environment. The brand was Philips, and it works quite well.

This equipment looks very simple from the outside. It’s white and about 50 centimeters tall and 40 centimeters wide. As for the thickness, it’s less than a Longman dictionary. But on the top left corner, there is a round hole where is the place for air being absorbed in and filtered out.

This air purifier has pretty powerful function. It has 6 filter ['f?lt?] layers and can get rid of the ash, tiny poisoning things as well as smelly flavor.

After using it for one month, I was charge ofchanging a small part of the filter. Surprisingly and scared a lot, I found the original white material became totally black and dirty. I couldn’t believe all of those things used to exist in the air I breathed! How terrible! So now, whenever I meet a friend, I recommend

them to buy some air purifiers to clean the air. How pathetic to live in cities. At the same time we enjoy the convenience a city gives, we are also in the potential danger caused by pollution.

A science lesson（刘薇）

Speaking of a science lesson, I’d like to talk about is a biology class I had in the second year of the high school. It was the first term, and the knowledge our biology teacher taught became much more difficult than before. Our teacher was a young beautiful lady with black long hair and expressive eyes.

The class impressing me most was the one the teacher introducing the concept of gene [d?i:n and DNA for the first time to us. Not like a typical science class that might be boring and tough to understand, that biology class was full of fun. At the very beginning, the teacher gave every of us a small questionnaire on which there were questions like who do you look like in appearance? Your father or mother; what are the similar personalities do you have with your father? Why you are taller/shorter than your classmates?

Apparently, we couldn’t find answers to many questions. Later, our teacher took out a huge picture on which there are the looks of DNA. For the first time, we got to understand what were dominant genes and recessive [r?'ses?v]genes.

That was an interesting biology class which has given us the most useful knowledge to

understand ourselves both physically and mentally. I really like this class and has learned a lot from it.

A science lesson（一对一老师）

Speaking of a science lesson ,I'd like to talk about an interesting Chemistry class which I attended in my high school. It was in the Chemistry lab of our school , and we really learned a lot of things form this lesson.

The lesson is mainly about a chemical experiment. I mean, Our teacher told us to mix acid liquid and base liquid together to get natural liquid, which ph value would be 7.As it was the first time that I got access to the chemistry experiment, I was so excited, you know. I looked forward to getting the result of this experiment, however, I put too much acid liquid then it turned out that the ph value was below 7. I mean the result was terrible, I touched it without using the ph test paper first, so it nearly burned my finger. I was scared. And then after getting advice from my teacher,I tried it the second time, and finally I got the natural liquid, which really made me feel excited.

As for what I learned from this lesson, I’d like to say chemistry is an amazing ,exciting and interesting world .Not only did I get a lot of information and knowledge about this science experiment, but also did I leatn to be more careful with everything otherwise I will get in trouble.

A person who has an important job

Speaking of a person who has an important job, I’d like to talk about one of my teachers in my university. He is a motivational speaker who teaches us an optional course in university. In my perspective, he is quite charming, with short straight black hair and you know expressive eyes【z】, as well as a roman nose.

The course is a self-improvement course aimed at helping students relieving their pressure. In this class he shares many people’s life stories and experiences to reflect the human nature. And through the stories I heard, I got a better perspective of the world and I learned many life philosophies. For example, once he told us a story about an orphan who overcame all the difficulties he met in his life and become a successful football player. And we all got inspiration from this story.

As a university student, we often question our future and feel lost. We start to develop mental burdens and pressure which causes us to lose focus .The teacher motivates us with these stories and fills us with hope. I got so much comfort and motivation from that class and I also started to become more tolerant of my surroundings.

I think his job is very important because it can help people adjust themselves and develop a better mindset towards their life as well as stimulating healthy mental growth. We need people like this to give us encouragement and positive energy.

Someone you helped

Speaking of someone I helped, I’d like to talk about the children in an impoverished [im?p?v?ri?t]village in Guizhou province. Back in 2011, I took part in a charity program

for kids in poverty. I was a part of a volunteer group, helping poor children in Guizhou province. We were in charge of coordinating with schools and universities to get people to donate their used books for the kids who could not afford books.

It was a program to encourage poor children to read and become educated. When I first heard about this idea, I signed up immediately because I thought it was really meaningful. I was with many other volunteers, like about 30 people. It was quite a challenge because most of us were students, so it was the first time we did something like this. And at first, we really fond it hard to do our job. However, through our efforts , we managed to finish our task. I had lots of fun and I really enjoyed the feeling of working in a team.

You know, at the same time it gave me a sense of belonging and when we got the job done I got a sense of achievement. When we got the books into the hands of the children, when we saw the happiness in their eyes and their thirst for education, I think we all felt we were making a difference. You know, knowledge may change these children’s lives. If they could read more books and have a better education, they may be able to embrace a bright future. So I really feel delighted to help these children, and I can’t imagine anything happier than helping people who are in need of help.

An occasion when you were late

Well, actually I’m always punctual, but there’s one important occasion when I was late and I’ll never forget it.

It was about one year ago, I applied for a position of internship in a renowned multinational company. Several days after the interview, I got a call. It said that I had passed the interview and just came to work tomorrow. I felt quite delighted, then I got somewhat nervous, coz this was my first work. With this nervous emotion, I hit the fell asleep quite late. Consequently, I waked up at approximately 9’o clock. You know, my manager made an appointment with me at 9:30. In a great hurry, I rushed out and took a taxi. Unfortunately, we met traffic congestion and we got stuck on the road. I got mad, I asked the taxi driver for help, but he was quite helpless and told me that he had nothing to do but to wait. I had no choice but to call my supervisor shamefacedly(羞愧地). I said probably I would be late and I felt quite sorry for that. Freaking me out, this gentleman was pretty magnanimous(宽宏大量的), he told me don’t worry, take my time he would wait for me. When I arrived at 10:30, the first for him to do was to give me a coke and tissue to calm me down.

What a tolerant boss. I think this occasion is pretty significant cos(=because in oral) it was my first day on my position and it was quite essential for me to make a desirable（好的good）impression for my manager. However, I felt pretty grateful for my supervisor and then I determined to give my best shot(尽全力try my best) to my work.

This experience is quite memorable for me. It always reminds that I must be punctual in any occasion because I may never meet such a nice man again.

Speaking of A type of clothing you like to wear,I’d like to talk about Jeans, which is my favorite type of wearing. And you know jeans are the most common type of clothing that everyone likes to wear.I like to wear it all the time, like when I go to class, or when I’m free, coz it feels very casual. So I can wear it to many occasions, because it’s nor very formal.

And jeans are made of thick denim, and they are very sturdy. I really like dark blue jeans, which are loose around the hip, so it feels very comfortable. And it’s got many pockets, so I can carry all things I need in my pocket and I don’t need to carry a bag with me.

I often buy this kind of clothing in my favorite shop which is called the off-price. It’s really

a fantastic shop which sells all kinds of quality clothes and shoes. Moreover, they are all on sale, between 50 percent discount and 70 percent discount, so nice! You know, as a student I don’t have much money and I really need to economize my expenditure. So I’d like to go to this shop and I always go there with my friends.

The reason why I like to wear it is because it’s comfortable and easy to match, I can wear it with any Tshirt ,or I can even wear it with any jacket or dress. And you don’t have to wash it often because it doesn’t get dirty easily, even if there is a hole, it’s ok becaus e people will think you are trendy. And most importantly, it doesn’t attract a lot of attention, so I can wear it on the street, and I don’t have to worry about people looking at me differently. So this is the type of clothing I really like to wear.

A place you have studied or worked

Speaking of a place where I have studied, I’d like to talk about my high school, which is called the No.1 high school of Jilin . You know, they say that high school years are your golden years. It’s the transition period from being a kid to an adult.

My high school was a very prominent school in my hometown. It’s also one of the top high schools in our city and even in Jilin province. It was really a big school, we had over 3000 students. Our high school provided us with many fa cilities that other schools didn’t have. Such as an indoor Gym, a big outdoor field and even a library. There is also an artificial lake and a beautiful garden in our school, so after dinner we could take a walk around the lake .

Our school has always had a reputation of high test results.Every year , there are many students from our school who go to the top universities in China. So our school is a very high level school.

All the classes were harsh and the teachers really pushed us. We had a lot of study pressure, because in China’s exam-oriented system, we have to remember so many things. Even though some people consider high school to be hell, now that I think back on my high school years, I feel that everything about it was so precious. You know from all the crazy things we did and all the high school drama, it’s all part of growing up.

Speaking a photo which I like , I’d like to talk about a family photo which is on the second shelf of my bookshelf. My parents and I are in the photo and it really reminds me of the wonderful time we had in Dalian.

You know Dalian is such a gorgeous seaside city, which is located in the northeast part of China, and my parents and I went there last year .The scenery there is awesome, what I mean is that you can enjoy the brilliant sunshine and listen to the sea lapping the shore,

as well as the azure sky and crystal water, that is so impressive that you will remember it deep in your heart. What’s more, seafood there is also attractive. I have to say, compared with other places, seafood in Dalian is the most delicious and fresh. It’s absolutely delicacy. So nice! And we really wanted to memorize the great moment, so we asked for a local person to take the photo for us. Then we got this photo, we were laughing with the wonderful scenery behind us and the delicious seafood just in our hands.

I’m really fond of this photo, coz it memorized not only the beautiful scenery in Dalian , but also the wonderful time my parents and I had during this trip. It’s so unforgettable. Whenever I look at this photo, it will remind me of the good old days. And when I go overseas to further my education, I’ll definitely bring it with me.

An interesting person you have met recently

Who/where did you meet/ what kind of person/why you think he is interesting Speaking of An interesting person I have met recently, I’d like to talk about my friend lily’s grandpa, who is in his 70s and has retired as a high school history teacher. Grandpa li is middle-built with expressive eyes, as well as bushy eye brows. Although his face is partially covered with wrinkles, he is even more energetic than some young people.

I met him just a few weeks ago at lily’s wedding and he really impressed me a lot. I mean,a person wearing a set of cartoon clothes showed up, holding a branch of flowers and also with a mask on the face. At that time , everyone was surprised, coz the groom and the bride was having ring-exchanging and arm-crossed drinking. Then this person took off the mask, oh my, it was lily’s grandpa, who wanted to use this special method to show his best wishes to the newly weds. I think it was really unbelievable and put the wedding to the highlight.

In the meanwhile, it was so interesting, you know, he was around his 70s, however, he can think of this funny and incredible idea. I mean he is the most interesting elder person in my entire life.

He usually sings pop music, and his songs are quite impressive and meaningful coz most of them reflect his experiences. Such as my favorite song “be brave. I knew him from my best friend lily, she recommended xusong to me, saying that I would definitely love his music.

However, to everyone's surprise, he didn't become a man with isolated, self-centered and unsociable personality. Instead, he was pretty optimistic and enthusiastic to his life. And eventually he overcame all the setbacks he met, and became a renowned singer all

As for why I think he is popular, I’d like to say firstly when you walk on the street or in a shopping mall, you will always hear his songs. A funny TV show

Speaking of a funny TV show, I ‘d like to talk about the one called the stories of backpackers(背包客). You know, I adore travelling very much so I participated in a travelling club in my university. Shortly afterwards, the president of the club recommended this program to me, saying that this program would be pretty stimulating(有趣的). After spotting, I must say it is awesome. I remember I watched it a month ago, at the day when it was broadcasted, with my club members in the club activity room. In this edition, it told about the journey when a backpacker traveled around Thailand. You know, this man was so unlucky, his wallet was stolen and he had to sleep on the street. Moreover, he couldn’t afford the train ticket and a villager took hi m to the next destination, using his tractor. Also, he was erroneously identified as a drug trafficker(毒枭)! However, he overcame these hurdles and finally found the temple he wanna go.

As far as I am concerned, I think it is extremely funny. You know, maybe my description is a little boring but the plot is pretty interesting. I’m really fond of this TV show, not only because it’s quite stimulating, but also because I can acquire much knowledge from it.

A radio program

Speaking of A radio program, I'd like to talk about a popular one called ‘real story’, which is about inviting people to share their personal experiences. I like to listen it every week, I mean it broadcasts on every Friday, at about 8 in the evening.

As for the special feature about this radio program,I guess it’s that all of the stories are true. For example, I knew a man called Michel just from this radio program. He lost his parents in a terrible car accident. After that, he was adopted by his neighbor. However, to everyone's surprise, he didn't become a boy with isolated, self-centered and unsociable personality. Instead, he was pretty optimistic and enthusiastic to his life .And the most important thing is that he cultivated his hobby, I mean playing football, and eventually he was admitted by the most famous football club in his city. What’s more, I also fancy the background music of this program, which is sweet and unforgettable.

A rule in school

Speaking of a rule in school, I’d like to talk about the uniform policy, which was made by the local government of my hometown. All high school students in my hometown are required to wear uniforms that look quite sporty. So you know I remember I had a western teacher coming to China for the first time, and he thought I was an athlete because I was wearing my school uniform. That’s really funny. And in the summer we have a T shirt with shorts and in the winter, we have a coat with sweat pants. The rule was made to represent each school as well as show our status as a student. So when you are walking on the street and wearing your uniform, other people will know which school you are form and they’ll know that you are a student. And when we are in school, if we don’t wear our uniforms, we will get punished. I remember when I was in high school, one day I didn’t wear my uniform to school and my teacher told me to go home and put it on (连读)or I couldn’t go to class. I really don’t like this rule because I think the uniforms look really corny and I feel that the way it looks has no connection to academics. I really like the uniforms they have in Japan and Taiwan where students wear formal jackets and shirts. What’s more, I feel that it really prohibits students from expressing themselves as well as their own unique styles. Although this rule has some drawbacks, it can help students to concentrate on their study and give students a sense of community. So I reckon that we should keep this rule, and make school uniforms more attractive.

Speaking of a trip by public transportation, I would like to talk about my trip to Dalian. I went there last year summer vocation,by high-speed rail(高铁).

You know, Dalian is a gorgerous seaside city which is located in the northeast prt of China and belongs to Liaoning province. It is a coastal city, and I think it offers the most beautiful beach in China. The scenery there is awesome, what I mean is that you can enjoy the brilliant sunshine and listen to the sea lapping the shore. It was amazing, you know.I also enjoyed the azure sky and crystal water, that is so impressive that I will remember it deep in my heart. We also did some out door activities, such as swimming, boating and having BBQ with my parents.

What’s more, seafood there is also attractive. I have to say, compared with other places, seafood in Dalian is the most delicious and fresh. It’s absolutely delicacy. So nice!

As for why I took high-speed rail, you know, currently the speed for the rail can reach 300 kilometers per hour. I reckon that compared with airplane, the rail could offer a more comfortable and cozy environment. Moreover, the price for rail was cheaper than airplane.

To tell you the truth, it is my first time to take high-speed rail and I feel this transportation is awesome! This trip is extremely memorable for me, not only for the city, but also for the high-speed rail.

An occasion when someone visited your home

Speaking of an occasion when someone visited my home, I’d like to talk about the one happened during last spring festival. My father’s friend uncle wang came to visit us from out of town with his family. Uncle wang is pretty charming in my perspectives, with ----.And He is a close family friend . My father told me that this uncle was his high school

classmate, so they have known each other for almost 20 to 30 years. And you know in China, when you are really good friends with someone, it’s a custom to visit each other’s homes and know each other’s family, especially during festivals.We call it “Chuan Men”in Chinese.

At that day, we all gathered in the living room and both families had a nice chat over some tea. My father and his friend talked about the past and I had a nice chat with his daughter lily, because she is about my age, so you know we have a lot of common topics to talk about. Just like the American dramas, such as friends, the big bang theory and gossip girl. You know, we are all die-hard fans of American dramas. Afterwards, my mother cooked dinner for our guests. And we really had a delicious meal, it was so nice. In the evening the adults played Mahjong in our living room and I invited lily to my room and showed her around our house. We also watched a film together and chitchatted for a long while.

You know Chinese people are really hospitable, so we are always happy when our friends come over. And this occasion is really a wonderful memory for me, and from then on Lily and I became good friends, and we still keep in touch with each other now. Actually, she just sent me a message to wish me have a good mark today.

So we decided to have a seafood BBQ there. We got all kinds of seafood, just like fish, Crab[kr?b] and shells. They were so nice. And my parents and I really had a blast.

I enjoyed this outdoor meal quite much, not only because of the delicious and fresh seafood we ate, but also because we could also enjoy the wonderful scenery when we were having this BBQ. And it provided us the opportunity to get close to nature. It’ s also a fantastic memory for my family, and I’ll always keep it in my heart.

A party

Speaking of a party I would like to hold, I’d like to talk about a beach party. And I think I’ll hold it in Dalian, which is a gorgeous seaside .I really want to have this party because you know we can see the breathtaking ocean view in Dalian. I mean, The scenery there is awesome, you can enjoy the brilliant sunshine and listen to the sea lapping the shore as well as the azure sky and crystal water.

And I really want to do it with my family, you know my grandparents and my parents. As seafood in Dalian is so attractive. I have to say, compared with other places, seafood in Dalian is the most delicious and fresh. It’s absolutely delicacy. So nice! So we will definitely have a seafood BBQ, we will get all kinds of seafood, just like fish, Crab[kr?b] and shells. We can also enjoy the BBQ when we watch the sun set by the sea. And after the sun set, we can have a campfire party, and all the family members can share their

experiences and play some games.

I really want to hole this party, coz I think we are all tired form the city life, and this party will be a clear contrast to our city life. We can enjoy the fresh air , get close to nature and just forget about life in the city. Moreover, I want to have a good time with my family before I go overseas to further my education. You know, it will be a long time I can’t see them, so I want to have this kind of wonderful memory.

A childhood game

Speaking of a childhood game, I’d like to talk about the sand building competition, which I think is more interesting than hide and seek or duck duck goose. When I was young, my grandparents lived in Dalian, which is a gorgerous---,located---. Since my parents were both busy with their work, I was brought up by my grandparents, so I lived in Dalian for several years, which gave me the chance to enjoy this wonderful game.

The scenery there is awesome, what I mean is that you can enjoy the brilliant sunshine and listen to the sea lapping the shore as well as the azure sky and crystal water, and the sand beach is so soft. When I was a kid, I’m really fond of doing sand building with my cousin and some other friends or even strangers. And sometimes we would hold a competition, it was full of fun.

This game is less demanding or challenging than others like surfing or diving. Instead, what it needs is imagination, patience and some skills. Generally, I liked to build some buildings or cartoon characters. I liked to use some short sticks and seashells to support the main structure, and then pat sand on slowly and carefully. The most cheerful time was when fulfilling any works, and the most pathetic moment was the sculpture crushed down when it’s nearly done.

I really fancy this childhood game, coz I could play it as well as enjoy the beautiful scenery near the sea. Moreover it can exploit my creation and hands-on ability. Most importantly, it’s a wonderful memory of my childhood, which can remind me of the wonderful time I had with my grandparents and my cousin.

A house or flat

Speaking of a beautiful house or flat I have visited, I’d like to talk about my friend’s home. And you know my friends home is an Oceanside house, which is located in the seaside of Dalian. Dalian is a gorgeous seaside city, which is situated in the northeast part of China.

I visited her last year summer vacation, because I haven’t seen her for a long time. And this house has a really nice ocean view, from the house you can see the beautiful seaside scenery, like the brilliant sunshine, the azure sky and the crystal water. You can also listen to the sea lapping the shore, it’s amazing. And when you go inside the, you’ll feel very neat and tidy. The home is contemporary style, with 6 bedrooms, a large living room, really nice furnishing, and wonderful space allocation.

And I like this home because I think it’s really nice. It looks really modern but at the same time it feels really cozy .And there are guest’s rooms, so when I went there, there was a place for me to stay at her home.

In the back of her home, there is also a nice garden which has a lot of trees and flowers and it just makes the overall feeling of the home really classy. And I think living in the home like this will definitely make me happy. I hope one day I would be able to live in a
