Plagiarizing the work of others and cheati ng on exams are two un fair tactics used by stude nts in an attempt to atta in higher grades. Such actions maybe propelled by laz in ess, lack of self-c on fide nee,

academic pressure, or a comb in ati on of these factors. As is revealed in the portrayal, in stead of writi ng by themselves, four

college stude nts are plagiariz ing others ' term papers respectively.

Plagiarism and cheat ing are wrong because they adversely affect other students, the university, and even the perpetrators themselves. Firstly, Stude nts who plagiarize on essays or cheat on exams have an unfair advantage over other students. For in sta nee, it would be extremely un just for a student who cheats on an examto obtain a perfect score of 100, while a bright and hard-work ing stude nt studies for a week to

receive a score of 95. Secondly, plagiarism and
