征订启事的特性
征订启事是报刊杂志在创刊、复刊、改刊或年终岁尾征求订户以及新书出版征求订户时使用的一种应用文。
征订启事具有下列几项特性。
(一)公开性
作为启事一种的征订启事也是公开发文的，这样的应用文，多在报纸、杂志的适当位置刊出
。由于广播、电视的普及，征订启事也通过它们向社会播映。电视上一般会用一些有关的画面辅助播放征订启事。
(二)介绍宣传性
征订启事目的在于为报刊杂志征求到更多的读者，扩大自己的发行和影响力，所以征订启事
就必然将其杂志或报刊的各种优越性介绍给广大的订户，而广大的用户也往往凭着征订启事的介绍而确定自己是否订阅或订阅多少。
(三)自愿性
征订启事是一种具有广告色彩的征求性应用文，读者订阅与否全凭自愿。
