1. 课程定位和课程设计

1.1、课程的性质与任务:

本课程是根据高职高专商务英语专业必修课所设置的一门专业技能课,以培养学生在商务环境下实际的听说能力为目的。在英语学习中,听说是两门既重要又难掌握的技巧。作为高职高专第二年的重要课程之一,教学的主要任务是对学生进行正规的,严格的听说技能训练,有计划的逐步地提高学生的听说水平,培养学生实际应用语言的能力。商务英语课程着重于培养学生在各种商务活动及公务活动中运用英语听说的能力,因此是一门专业核心课。

1.2课程设计的理念

在“以就业为导向,能力为根本”的思想指导下,高职高专商务英语听说课程教学要进行实践总结与研究。提出阶段式教学新理念,强调商务英语教学中的"听与说"是一个不可分割的整体,要作为一门课程来组织教学。

1.3 课程设计思路

依据采用多样的教学方法和先进的教学手段,提倡“教—学—做“为一体的设计思路,使商务听说课程设计与企业实际需要相结合,有利于开展以学生为中心的启发式教学、互动式教学,有利于培养学生的个性化学习和研究性学习能力,有利于提高学生的语言应用能力和人文素质。

2. 课程目标

总目标:

本课程旨在为刚接受完英语语言一般训练、今后从事商务活动的学生提供一个初次接触“商务英语”的机会,使学生在完成后,能掌握基本的商务活动所需要的英语。对学生进行外语听力和口语技能训练,使学生掌握英语语音、语调,逐渐适应英语语言环境,提高英语语言表达能力和交际能力,较熟练地运用常用商务英语进行国际商务活动。

分类目标:

1.社会能力目标

必须具备良好的政治思想素养、道德品质和法律意识,吃苦耐劳、积极进取、敬岗爱业,勤于思考、勇于创新,熟悉行业规范,有一定的人文和科学素养,有良好的人际沟通交往能力、团结协作精神和顾客至上的服务意识。

2.专业能力目标

商务英语专业因职业面向不同,其专业能力要求也不尽相同。要求学生熟练从事商务营销、商务文秘、单证员等职业的基本听说需要。

3.实践目标

以培养学生自主能力为目的,利用现代教育技术,构建具有创新性、实用性、个性化的高职商务英语听说教学体系,提高学生的听说能力,使学生在毕业之时就具有能顺利上岗工作的能力,达到高职院校与职场工作的“无缝对接”。

理论:

如:面试、工种与职责、接电话、开会、商务出差、产品介绍、商务会餐等等。通过这些情节式内容的训练,熟悉简单的商务活动的程序与内容,并了解跨文化差异及其对国际商务带来的影响,从而为今后专业课程的学习乃至毕业后从事商务领域的工作打下坚实的基础。在基础英语教学的基础上,巩固、扩大学生的语法、词汇等语言知识,侧重介绍与商务活动及日常业务相关的语言及语言技巧的运用。实践:

1、掌握一般英语语法知识基本商务理念和商务相关词汇。

2、学习一般商务知识,了解常用商务英语文件格式与会话。

3、通过听说的基本技能的综合训练,培养学的国际商务沟通能力,信息获取、整合及应用能力。

4、通过商务基本技能的训练,使学生掌握一定的实务及场景操作技能,以利于今后职场发展。

4课程实施

4.1教学条件:

4.1.1软件条件

本课程实行课堂讲授与现场教学及模拟实训相结合学习方式。同时学校参与校企合作,为学生提供真实的现场环境和实习基地,让学生能在真实的环境下对所学内容进行操练补充,以使学生能在最短的时间内适应工作岗位的需要。遵循教学大纲,实行规范教学。科学合理的教材结构,丰富实用的试题库

4.1.2硬件条件

1、学校配有多功能语音室,多媒体教室,实训室,校内的教室全部为多媒体教室,还设有功能先进的英语语音室、现代化的计算机机房、免费网络学习室等,使学生可以充分享受和利用现代化教学设施,提高学习效率。

2、专业图书齐全的图书馆、宽敞的阅览室及晚间自习室的开设,为学生营造了读书和阅览的环境。

3、学校设置了专门的大型演讲厅,学生可以享受学校为学生开设的名师讲坛及技能讲座,以拓展视野和思路。

4.2 师资条件

商务英语听有一支精锐的师资队伍说教学阵营中的师资大多具有硕士以上学历,除英语语言文化以外,还具备商务方面的理论与实践经验。中外教师共同执教,老中青相结合,是一支结构合理、综合素质高、团结协作、教学效果好的团队。

4.3教学方法建议:

在商务英语专业教学团队中形成了以就业为导向,以学生为中心的教学理念、以任务型教学方法为主的教学模式、以语言习得与文化学习相结合的教学扩展、以培养学生自主学习能力为目标的教学思路。

合作学习与自主学习相结合。要求学生自主组成团队,在教学全过程中自主合作、交换信息、群体设计课件、组织课堂活动、共建和分享成果。合作学习除了学生与学生的合作之外,还包括师生合作。课程全过程始终保持师生共同策划、讨论,获得解决问题的成功感。

学习任务与社会任务相结合。为了培养学生动脑、动口和动手能力,即综合应用语言做事的能力,老师布置的任务包括:寻找知识、筛选信息、利用信息、设计信息传递形式、交流信息和思想情感等。任务成果形式包括口头和书面,有电子版也有文本形式。对重要的观点、知识点、技巧等有归纳有总结。学生的整个学习过程是一种内趋的动力、一种具有教育意义的刺激、一种思考方式的引导;是创新潜力的释放,是智慧的分享。是现代高等教育提倡的“让学生在干中学习(Learning through doing)”的教育思想和人才培养原则的实施。

根据教学目的和教学模式,本课程共设计了三个教学模块:

一、课堂教学

1.教师根据教材内容,结合本校学生的实际水平,运用教材附带光盘的音频、视频材料,制作多媒体课件。

2.教师通过设计多媒体课件,将教学活动蕴含其中,从而使学生能自然、主动地根据课程要求完成教师设计的任务,达到教学目的。多媒体课件的使用既节省教师引导学生进行训练的时间,又增加了教学内容的信息量。

3.教师组织形式多样、生动有趣的课堂活动,激发学生的兴趣,并结合商务实际,使更多的学生参与其中,成为课堂教学的主角。此类教学活动有:英语演讲,英语电影片段配音,英语短剧表演,英语辩论,英语主题班会等。

二、实训教学

为了更有效地开展英语听说教学,培养学生的听说技能,我院的实践教学条件有了质的飞跃,建立健全了能够配合视听说教学的相关实训室。

学院目前设有5间语言实验室和5间多媒体教室。通过音频和视频的播放,师生交流,听力、口语复读或对比,多媒体课件演示,分组讨论,拍摄视频录像等语音功能的实现,让教师和学生,学生和学生可以在课堂上进行语言的沟通和交流,从而使学生的语言知识得到增加,语言技能得到提高。在语言教学实践课程中,为教师与学生之间创造先进、优化的教学互动环境。

实训教学五步骤:

步骤一、教师根据教学内容及商务实景设计实训主题。

步骤二、学生按组分配主题,并编写剧本。

步骤三、分组表演。

步骤四、各组之间互评。

步骤五、教师评价。

三、自主学习

1.在课程网站上上传教学大纲、教案、多媒体课件等授课文件。

2.增加多媒体网络教学的资源,提供商务英语听力、口语的相关练习资料,尤其是与双证考试相关

的参考练习和资料。

3.补充与教材内容相关的文化背景知识和相关的商务基本常识,制作成文化链接供学生学习参考。

四、教学强调课程特点:

1、实践性:视听说课是一门实践性很强的课程,可以说是一门技能课。在课堂上,要争取最大机会让每一位学生都能不断开口,边听边说。这一授课方式的独特性体现在“以学生为中心的学习方法”,即学生为所有教学活动的中心,他们必须成为课堂的主角,积极参与老师引导下的讨论,发表意见。老师只是导演,引出话题,鼓励学生勇敢地提出创新意见。

2、实用性:商务英语本身也是一门实用性相当强的课程,常用的教学活动有:学生配对训练、模拟情景会话、小组讨论、角色扮演、虚拟商务表格的填写、游戏活动等等。通过商务基本技能的训练,使学生掌握一定的实务及场景操作技能,以利于今后职场发展。

4.4考核方法与成绩评价结构,比例:

考试包括平时测验、课堂提问、期中考试和期末考试四种。平时测验每单元随堂进行一次。期中考试和期末考试由外国语学院统一组织,旨在考查学生掌握所学知识的程度。考试以听力笔试成绩为主,口语成绩参照平时上课提问和做News Report,具体形式由任课教师根据学生情况进行设计。学生总评成绩由四部分组成:课堂口语提问(30%)、期中成绩(30%)和期末成绩(30%)、课后作业、平时测验(10%)。

5 课程资源开发与利用

(一)课程资源社会化

现实生活是一个丰富的教育资源,我们生活的社会更是蕴涵着无穷的宝藏。快捷、便利的通讯、媒体使我们在瞬间掌握大量的社会信息,有来自不同国家、地区的,有来自政治、经济、军事不同领域的。

(二)课程资源信息化

信息化的社会为现代教学提供了先进的教学手段和广阔的教育资源。学校很重视信息化建设,投入资金为每个办公室、部分专用室配备了计算机,并建立了校园网,在计算机教师和全体教师的共同建立并完善了课程资源库。注重课程资源和现代化教学资源的开发和利用,这些资源有利于创设形象生动的工作情景,激发学生的学习兴趣,促进学生对知识的理解和掌握。建议加强课程资源的开发,建立多媒体课程资源的数据库,努力实现跨学校多媒体资源的共享,以提高课程资源利用效率。积极开发和利用网络课程资源,充分利用诸如电子书籍、电子期刊、数字图书馆、教育网站和电子论坛等网上信息资源,使教学从单一媒体向多种媒体转变;教学活动从信息的单向传递向双向交换转变;学生单独学习向合作学习转变。运用现代教育技术和虚拟现实技术,建立虚拟社会、虚拟项目等仿真教学环境,优化教学过程,提高教学质量和效率,培养学生专业素质。建立学习资料库,推荐国内与专业有关的网站地址,积极引导与培养学生学会自主学习、资料查询等能力。

教材编写

(1)必须依据本课程标准编写教材,教材应充分体现任务引领、实践导向课程的设计思想。

(2)教材应将本专业职业活动,分解成若干典型的工作项目,按完成工作项目的需要和岗位操作规程,结合职业技能证书考证组织教材内容。要以实际英语口语表达为载体,引入必须的专业知识,增加实践内容,强调理论在实践过程中的应用。

(3)教材应图文并茂,提高学生的学习兴趣,较大语言输入,开展多种交际活动。教材表达必须精炼、准确、科学。

(4)教材内容应体现先进性、通用性、实用性,围绕考证需要的功能展开,使教材更贴近本专业的实际需要。

(5)教材中的活动设计的内容要具体,并具有可操作性。
