News Report

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen.Welcome to today’s observation of SUFE. I’m the host Mr. Martin. As if the airspace over the war-torn country wasn't already crowded enough, fighter jets announced Russia's arrival on the ever-growing list of nations who have bombed Syria when it launched airstrikes on rebel targets last week."Yesterday's demarche to the U.S. by Russian officials in Baghdad was clear in its intent," one senior administration official said. "Make sure you don't have anyone around ISIS targets and get out of the air."The Russian Defense Ministry said warplanes targeted eight ISIS positions Wednesday, including arms, transportation, communications and control positions, but it is still unclear how many enemies were killed in airstrikes.

But the targets aren't limited to ISIS, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the state news agency Tass.

"This operation is aimed at supporting the Syrian armed forces in the fight against the Islamic State terrorist group (banned in Russia) and other extremist groups," Peskov said.

What the situation will be like still remains to be seen, but one thing is sure that Syrian people will suffer even greater pain. Martin reports from dormitory. Thanks for listening
