托福口语大盘点和2012走势预测
托福口语大盘点和2012走势预测由于2011年全年风平浪静，展望未来一年的口语试题走势，应当还是持续大量旧题重复与少量新题的结合，而在题材选择、内容设置、时间控制以及评分标准等方面应当会较之前保持不变。
对于在2012年参加托福考生的考生们，这里以口语为例，就大家的备考提出几点建议：一，重视个性化复习每位考生的口语基础，复习时间，成绩要求等不尽相同。
这就要求每位考生在复习口语时一定要先分析自己的实际情况，有针对性的部署时间，安排复习方案。
举例来说，对于高中英语水平的考生，如果还有6个月以上的复习时间，口语方面应当加大基本功的练习，从语音语调，流利程度，高级表达，记录笔记等多方面进行稳步提高。
比如可以尝试做完全部黄金口语80题并录音保存，以备日后复习。
而对于口语水平比较弱而备考时间非常有限的考生，则可以弱化甚至跳过基本功的练习，直接进入TPO试题，以考代练。
由于托福考试的六道口语题的出题方式及答案设置和评分标准都遵循一定的模式，而现在的TPO已经发展有24套题，很多考生也可以通过24轮有规律的练习，基本掌握考试要领，从而在实战中拿到一个比较满意的成绩。
二，重视官方指南，机经与TPO对于中国大陆地区托福考生，特别是备考时间比较紧张的托福考生，最理想的复习资料就是官方指南，机经与TPO。
官方指南是大陆地区考生可以获得的由ETS发布的托福考试辅导书。
里面对于考试形式，内容以及评分标准都做了全面清楚的解释。
特别是其中的评分标准部分，对于托福口语考试非常重要。
很多考生由于在国内很少接触过英语口语考试，对托福口语考试如何评分知之甚少，甚至以为只要口语好，能聊天儿，口语就能拿高分。
官方指南结合考生口语录音，逐个评分点评，对于考生们日后口语复习有重要的指导意义。
TPO是ETS发布的测试题。
由于托福考试实行保密制度，把每次考试真题（特别是口语考试的音频材料）带出考场是不现实的。
而ETS又不对外发行纸质版本复习材料（比如雅思考试的剑桥试题系列）。

【讲课要点】：关于Ants如何在foraging中提高效率，寻找到更多的食物。
有两种方法：
一是change direction;举了个例子Amy Ant（具体是不是这么拼的不晓得，反正从读音听起来是Amy），在第一次觅食过程中会go south of their nest（还是north？？忘掉了，不好意思哈~），然后第二次会换一个方向，say east（这个确定），这样就可以avoid cover same place。

当老师希望学生做出desirable behavior的时候，老师会与学生订立一个contract,来encourage。教授举了一个自己的例子，他曾今教小孩子，但他们回答问题时直接yell,而没有raise hands，这样会interrupt其他同学。其中有一个叫Sarah的女生尤其严重，于是教授和她谈话，发现她想用学校的computer来play games。然后，教授就跟她订立contract:你如果保证上课不yell而是先举手，那么就让她use computer,最后成功地使Sarah学会举手了。

The Olympic Games are the greatest festival of sport in the world. Every four years, a hundred or more countries send their best sportsmen to compete for the highest honors in sport. There is honor for all who compete, win or lose. That is in spirit of Olympics -- to take part in is what matters. At the opening ceremony, the custom is for the Greek team to march in first, for it was in Greece that the Olympics began. The team of the host country marches in last.这一段内容为大家所熟悉的奥运常识，句式没什么难点，即使不怎么听得懂也都应译得出。
但考生表现令人大跌眼镜，如有的译成“奥运会每年举办一次”，或“上届获奖最多的国家走在最前面”，或“闭幕式上宣布明年举办地”等不一而足。
还有相当一部分考生漏译“for it was in Greece that the Olympics began”（希腊式奥运会的发源地）这一句。
撇开知识结构不平衡不谈，考生的表现反映出临考时过度紧张、不善于应变以及翻译时拘泥字面、缺乏整体逻辑的问题。
