巧用错题本,提高英语成绩
为了更好地提高英语学习质量,一个有效且值得提倡的方法是:用好英语错题本。
在日常的英语练习、作业和考试中,所有学生都会出现一些错题。
对待错题的态度不同,学习效果就会有很大的差别。
为了更好地提高英语教学质量,一个有效且值得提倡的方法是:用好英语错题本。
一、教学生如何建立英语错题本
要求学生把平时英语练习和测试中的错题都摘录在错题本上,注明错因,然后改正一遍,并注释考查的语言、重点语法等。
若一题有多种表达,可用红笔旁注其他几种表达方法。
原则上错题不过夜。
两周后把错题进行分类(单项选择,词汇运用,词性变换,时态变化,同义句替换等)。
通过分类整理,学生能更深刻地理解知识。
在错题本上,学生把课上未听懂或课下遇到的难题分类整理,以便请教老师。
还可以把平时遇到的典型的考查综合知识能力的习题,抄在错题本上,以便开拓思路,提高解题能力。
二、教学生如何利用英语错题本
1.经常阅读。
英语错题本的主要目的是培养学生的良好学习习惯,达到“同一个错误不能犯两次”的目的。
为此,我要求学生在单元总结和考试之前,拿出错题本,浏览一遍,订正错误,强化解题思路,这样经常温习,持之以恒,会使学生形成良好的学习习惯,提高思维品质,成绩就会有大幅度提高。
2.相互交流。
学生是有差异的个体,加上基础不同,每位学生所犯的错误亦有差异。
通过交流英语错题本,学生可以从别人的错误中汲取教训,扬长避短,以此警示自己不犯同类错误。
俗话说“吃一堑,长一智”,通过经常阅读和相互交流错题本,学生可以逐渐改掉不良习惯,并且不断积累做题的方法,形成优良的思维品质,英语成绩就会有较大的提高。
3.持续利用错题本,避免虎头蛇尾。
对学生英语错题本,从开始我一直进行严格督查,针对学生情况进行奖惩。
经过一段时间的不懈坚持,学生懂得“磨刀不误砍柴功”的道理,深切体验到:及时分析整理错题,以便将来不出错或少出错,从而培养了学生良好的做题习惯。
三、借助英语错题本,反馈教学得失
英语错题本是一扇窗口,通过它,我们可以窥探教学中的得与失。
通过批阅学生的错题本,我发现:如果错题很少,教与学都是比较成功的;若是错题多并带有共性,这就说明教学中存在严重的失误。
我总结归纳出不同学生发生的不同错误或错误的不同类型,分析出错的原因,每周末上一节“错误反思课”,变反思错误为弄懂错误,吃透知识,牢固掌握课堂内容。
实践证明:通过批阅学生的错题本,及时掌握学生学习中的不懂之处并对症下药,在薄弱处重锤敲打,我对学生学情的把握会更到位,对课堂的驾驭会更自如有效,教学质量随之提高。
英语错题本又是一面镜子,通过批阅学生错题本,我发现:有的学生遇到题干复杂、内容开放,需要多方面能力的题就会出错,这类学生基础知识掌握得较好但综合能力差,需要综合能力训练的指导;有的学生学习品质有问题,不会审题;有的学生基础差心理素质差,等等。
这样老师能够对学生有比较深入的了解,在以后的教学中,针对每个学生的特点,因材施教,个别辅导,提高学生成绩。
四、利用错题本,架起师生交流的桥梁
学生错题本不仅是改正错误、掌握知识的工具,还是师生相互交流的平台和桥梁。
1.通过评语鼓励学生。
收阅学生英语错题本时,针对学生错题的改正情况,我在错题本上写上不同的评语“Well done!Wonderful!Come On!Great!Work harder and harder!”等等。
这样既改正了作业,又对学生进行了鼓励,起到了良好的教学效果。
2.通过交流引导学生。
有的学生在错题本上,写出自己内心的烦恼,我也在错题本上写出自己的见解,对学生进行开导,化解他们的忧愁。
这样对学生来说,既可以避免面对面
的尴尬,又可以缓解自身的思想压力,轻装前进,以更饱满的精神状态投入学习。
对老师来说,有利于更深入地了解学生,寻找更有效的教育方法,避免教育的盲目性,使学生在心理上更容易接受教师的教育,从而激发出高昂的学习激情。
实践证明,有效利用错题本,既能提高学生学习的兴趣,培养良好的学习习惯,又能加深对学生的了解,优化师生关系,提高教学质量,达到了事半功倍的效果,确实是一个提高英语成绩的好方法。
