JBL 9400系列影院环绕扬声器是JBL70年来不断追求声学技术创新的结晶。

值得一提的是，目前影厅内环绕扬声器的安装多符合体育馆坐席几何学，即环绕扬声器随着坐席区的下潜而降低垂直方向安装位置，但水平覆盖保持恒定不变。
不过，这种安装方式极易在扬声器正对的座位区域附近形成音频热区。
9400系列均采用独特的安装面板设计，安装时，只需将扬声器向银幕调整15度，就能消除音频热区。
