PEP小学英语第五册Unit5活动课案例设计一、活动案例设计1.话题:本单元的话题是My new room., 教学内容都是围绕房间里的物品和摆设展开的,笔者设计的案例是第五单元Part A 中Let’s talk及talk and draw 部分内容。
2.课题说明:我们学校学生从一年级开始学英语,一、二年级所采用的教材是美国儿童英语《彩虹与风筝》,三、四年级学习的是老人教版的《PEFC小学英语》,现在五年级刚刚开始接触《PEP小学英语》。
而且一开始就学的是PEP第五册,由于教材的频繁变更,学生由于没有学过PEP第一册至第四册的内容,要接着学第五册明显有很大困难。
3.课时说明:因为我校五年级英语每周五课时,有两个早自习,每单元基本上都有十个课时完成,笔者设计的案例是第五单元的第三课时,即在完成了Let’s learn 部分的四会单词及句子的教学后的一个课时。
4.学生情况说明:我校五年级的学生从一年级开始学习英语,应该说起步比较早,听说能力都不错。
可是由于教材不固定,前后衔接不到位的原因,五年级学生因为前面学的教材和PEP第五册不配套,尤其表现在书写上跟不上,几乎所有的内容对他们而言都是新的,前面几册要求听、说、认读的单词他们都没接触过,一下子过渡到第五册要求听、说、读、写四会,无论对教师还是对学生而言难度都相当大。
二、教学详案1.课题名称: PEP小学英语第五册Unit 5 Part A: Let’s talk & Talk and dra w ( Page 59).2.教学目标:(1)知识与技能:能够简单描述家具陈设的名称及色彩。
如There is a big clo set . There are blue curtains. 能够运用There be 句型。
能够听、说、认、读房间里的物品,并能熟练掌握Let’s talk 部分句型,并能在此基础上有所拓展,能交流和表达简单信息。
(2)情感态度:培养学生观察和热爱自己房间的情感,并有兴趣用英语表达思想,能够积极参与活动,在活动中和做事情中学习英语。

.教学目标英语课程标准指出,基础教育阶段英语课程的总体目标是培养学生的综合语言运用能力。
而综合语言运用能力又以学生语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识五个方面的综合素养为基础。

Teaching procedures(一) Warming upThe students listen, watch and do: "Walking, Walking"Purpose: This is a children's song with simple lyrics and rhythmicity and the cartoon characters in the flash are easy to imitate for the students. By "walking, walking, running, running" in the lyrics, the topic What are you doing? is introduced, which not only enhances the atmosphere of English class, but also provides situations to review the knowledge for the next step.(二) Presentation and practice1.The teacher introduce the scenes orderly with the aid of props: a. drawing; b. doing the dishes; c. cooking; d. reading; e. telephoning. These five verb words are introduced and then written on the blackboard.Purpose: Physical props are more able to draw the students's attention than words. As the teacher introduce scenes based on real props, the students can get visual stimulation intuitively and novelly which enhances students' interest in study;Choosing four-wire grid letters writing on the blackboard is to help students develop a good habit of writing. Although the phrase cards are convenient, eye-catching, but the four-wire grid letters writing on the blackboard can cultivate their standard writing, which does good to the cultivation of their writing habits.2.Presentation (Present the phrases on PPT):The teacher guides the students to practice the pronunciation of the phrases through various modes: a. in turns reading; b. group reading; c. performance reading; d boys-girls race reading; e. high-low pitch reading; f. fast-slow reading. The teacher pays attention to rectify the students' pronunciation.Purpose: As a foreign language, to help the students express themselves accurately is the least requirement for an English teacher. In order to make the five phrasal verbs impressed by the students in class in forms and pronunciation, the students need to practice them repeatedly and take various forms of reading loudly. Because of wide participation, the students are pleased to and interested in learning. At the same time through the students' reading, the teacher can get feedback from the students in time to better standard pronunciation.3.The teacher and a student make a dialogue to introduce the sentence "What are you doing? I am ..." Then the students practice the dialogue in group of two.Purpose: Dialogues between the teacher and the student and between students are to mobilize the class atmosphere and achieve the aim of learning to meet practical needs.(三) Practice1.Play a gamePresent the PPT,let the students perform and play Q-A games.2. The teacher present the PPT again, and the students follow to read the contents. Meanwhile, the teacher ask: "What are you doing?" and encourage the students to answer the question completely, for example, I am doing the dishes. I am reading a book. I am cooking dinner…3. The teacher present the PPT and play the beats together with the students to concord Let’s chant.Purpose: This part includes three kinds of practices which is both consolidation of the sentences and a general test for the students. By playing the beats on pots and bowls, the boys and girls read chant. This part has specific aims, situations and contexts, which relates to the students' real life and experience and make the students to taste of the cooperation learning and improve their interest of the lesson.(四)Consolidation and extension1. Write out V-ings of the verb phrases, and guide their writing and spelling.2. Do the listening exercises on Page 74.Purpose: The abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing should be developed at the same time for primary English. Through writing and spelling, the students' basic abilities can be cultivated; and through listening exerises their listening ability can be improved.(五)Homework1.Follow the recorder to read Let's learn three times.2.Finish the survey that researches what their friends are doing.Purpose: To help students cultivate and foster their abilities of learning English effectively and reading in and after class.
