The leader is the Buddhist monk Tripitaka, who has to travel all the way from China to India to get some sacred scriptures. Histhree protectors who help him are the Monkey King Sun Wukong, Pigsy (Zhu Bajie), and Friar Sand (Sha Wujing). Pigsy and Friar Sand are my two favorite characters!Pigsy is so funny and silly. His real name is Zhu Bajie, but everyone just calls him Pigsy because he used to be an immortal pig monster! Can you believe that? A pig monster! He has a really big mouth and two huge floppy ears that stick straight out. His nose is like a little piggy snout too. I bet he would be super good at sniffing out food with that great nose!Even though Pigsy looks kind of ridiculous, he is actually a fierce warrior. He carries around this huge heavy rake as a weapon. The rake has these long sharp prongs that can stab and slash at demons and monsters. Pigsy uses martial arts skills to swing the rake around really fast. I wouldn't want to mess with him when he's fighting!My favorite thing about Pigsy is that he is always cracking jokes and being silly. He's the class clown of the group for sure. Whenever things get too serious, Pigsy will say something goofy to make everyone laugh. He's also kind of lazy though, and he loooooves to eat. Maybe that's because he used to be a pig? If there's food around, you can be sure Pigsy will sniff it out and eat as much as he can!While Pigsy provides most of the laughs, Friar Sand is the tough guy of the group. His real name is Sha Wujing, but they call him Friar Sand because of the sandy brown robe that he wears. Friar Sand used to be an immortal monster too, but he was reformed by the Monkey King. Now he's bald like a monk, but he's still super strong and great at fighting.Friar Sand always looks really serious, but that's because he's so dedicated to protecting Tripitaka on the journey. He carries around this awesome weapon called the Compliant Footprint Cudgel. It's a big heavy club that can grow super long or shrink down to tiny size just by chanting a spell! When it's extended, Friar Sand can swing it around like a staff to bash monsters. The cudgel is unbreakable and indestructible, so it's the perfect weapon.My favorite scene is when Friar Sand uses his magic to catch baddies by making his cudgel stretch out super long to tie them up. He doesn't even have to get close, he can just extend the cudgel like a lasso and snag the evil monsters from far away. It's so cool! Friar Sand might look grumpy, but he's actually really smart and good at coming up with clever ways to defeat the bad guys.Pigsy is hilarious while Friar Sand is awesome and they make such a great comedy duo together. Pigsy will be goofing around not paying attention, and then Friar Sand has to yell at him to focus. Or Pigsy tells a stupid joke and Friar Sand gets all annoyed at him. They bicker like an old married couple, but you can tell they are truly great friends who care about each other a lot.I just love watching Pigsy and Friar Sand's adventures as they help protect Tripitaka on his long journey. If human beings were immortal
Since the childhood, we have been told to treasure every minute we spend. However, what if human beings were immortal? The film---The Groundhog Day we watched last week assumed the situation. Had I not seen the film last week, I wouldn’t want to think about how to make one day in my life enjoyable, meaningful and wonderful.
If I were Phil, I would be crazy about cycling the same day over and over. At the beginning, I might feel unimaginable and be excited with the endless time. If the day was endless, I might ride a bike to hang around the world instead of having a date with a boy or girl, or might climb the highest mountain---the Qomolangma, by my own. As time went by, I would be boring about it. No one can put up with staying at a case where you start a new day with full enthusiastic but end with depress finding that you are at the same time. Eventually, I would be more selfish by helping others as what Phil did.
From this movie, I can learn that the most effective way to make our life valuable is to help others. There is nothing but life is the most important. If we take every day seriously, happiness will come easily.。
