2012年雅思写作范文欣赏03The progression of globalization is inevitable and undeniable. It has been widely noted that many of the world’s languages and cultures are dying out. To seek the solution, we should take a closer look at the causes first. Most important of all is the objective reason. The essence of globalization is commercialization and centralization. It is convenient in communication that some prevalent languages and cultures have its predominance, which makes superior of the senior and inferiority of the junior. That leads to deterioration of some minors. These languages and cultures will be overlooked and devalued until they completely die out.As concave and convex sides of a nutshell, it has subjective reason. With the burgeoning of some VIPs, many migrants have swarmed into the dreamlands due to economic drive and stimulation, meanwhile engaged in local culture perspective and discarding their nativelanguages and cultures as a ‘betrayal’.Hence this is a problem which must be solved as soon as possible. We should remind the world of versatility of the minor cultures through popular media such as music, artifacts or historical heritage, thus renovating the music festivals artistic activities and museums. In addition, let more people, especially the young men, use their own language.Never tiring, never yielding, never finishing. We make the purpose, to prevent losing world’s cultural and linguistic diversity. “This way a long, tapering, strip of bark can be peeled up to the length of the tree, leaving the tree to heal and continue to grow,” says the United Nations Environment Programme Report. 点击下载Word文档。

2012年雅思写作范文欣赏04With the pacing the world, globalization is no longer a myth. Nowadays, it is growing at a terrific speed. Each country has combined to be a global village. Languages and cultures are penetrating each other and we are losing a variety of them. There are several reasons for this phenomenon. The first reason can be seen is that the great flow of migration. Globalization has helped open the world’s borders, permitting more and more people in small countries to immigrate to other big countries. As the need of working and living, they have to mix new culture with their own culture and use the new language more often. Gradually, they lose their own custom. The development of technology and economy, however, is the most important factor. The high-tech products in developed countries possess a leading position in the international market due to the globalization. Almost all the people in the world areenjoying the benefits of these products are more multinational corporations are emerging. This is not only a high-tech penetration but also a cultural invasion. People begin to be interested in these developed countries in an earlier age. They learn the language and culture of these countries, which will aid them to find a good job in the multinational corporations. To alleviate the dilemma, the following suggestions should be taken into consideration. In each country, a variety of cultural festivals should be held at a regular time such as poem or music festivals. Through this way, the traditional culture will be kept from generation to generation. Government should pose the consciousness of preserving traditional culture for inhabitants. In the final analysis, we should keep our own language and culture with the fast pace of globalization点击下载Word文档。

2012年3月雅思大作文真题

2012年3月雅思大作文真题+范文12.03.08People aim to achieve the balance between their work and lives. But few people achieve it. What are the causes of the problems? How to overcome it?1.Few people claim to be able to maintain the work-life harmony due to the competing pressures at work and demands at home. In this age of modern technology, one of the consequences of the imbalance is stress, a chronic problem common among working men and women alike. It is possible that the root of the problem is an undesirable and yet inevitable conflict between career ambition and personal as well as family life. Some people have begun to think that working gets in the way of living, particularly when they are struggling for professional achievements. A reduction of official working hours does little to relieve the stress that affects one's life because of one's ambition for financial gains and social recognition. To illustrate, typical workaholics continue working at home, or telecommuting, in front of a computer screen. Since one hopes to stand out of the crowd, there is little time left for leisure, pleasure and spiritual development. This being the case, home is no longer a heavenly place for rest as it used to be. Accordingly, one may feel out of the work-life equilibrium in the presence of increasingly keen competition, as if from all directions.More often than not, there is no clear line between work and family life, home becoming almost an extension of the workplace. Thus, the greater is the stress of trying to become successful, the less likely is the work-life balance, considering there is a price to be paid for taking pride in working, usually at the cost of a variety of family responsibilities and personal enjoyment. Of course, one can manage the work-life harmony skillfully to some extent, but not for long. In fact, this situation is so much like a teeter-totter, one end being work and the other being life. The metaphor refers to a rarely steady state, now moving from balance and now moving back towards it. That is why many people find it difficult to perform a balancing act between work and life. The conflict of work and life may be the cause of the problem, but the solution must depend on one's attitude about money and time. Tackling the problem of the imbalance is nothing easy because the stress of work is invading home. To be realistic, it makes sense that people work because theyneed money to make ends meet at home, and that time for personal life must sometimes be limited only to uneasy sleep after a hard day.2.Nowadays many adults have full-time jobs and the proportion of their lives spent on work is very high. Some of them are under high stress and ignore the other parts of life. I think that modern lifestyles are probably responsible for this.In many cities, the cost of living is very high, bringing about a heavy burden on city residents. To survive and lead a better life, people have to work hard and earn enough income to cover the daily expenditure. As the urban population keeps rising, competition is getting increasingly fierce in the job market and in workplaces. Those who are not conpetent for their jobs may be laid off. Under so much pressure, many people focus on their work and have little time for leisure and exercise. As a result, their life becomes monotonous and their health declines. There is no doubt that these lifestyles have caused negative impact on people's physical and psychological health and this situation needs to be changed. To begin with, people should be more aware of the consequence of failing to strike a balance between work and life. They should learn to allocate a certain proportion of time to stay with their family members, or for exercise. For instance, when they go back from work every day, they can choose to turn off their mobile phones, play with their kids or take the dog for a walk.Perhaps the government needs to construct more facilities to provide various choices for people to spend their spare time. Enterprises should also support employees in terms of dealing with stress at work, because this is no longer a problem for employees, but for the long-term prosperity of enterprises.12.03.10It is expected that there will be a higher proportion of older people than young people in many countries in the future. Do you think it is a positive or negative development?题目翻译:据预测,将来很多国家的老龄化人口的比重将会超过年轻人。

2012年雅思写作范文欣赏05

2012年雅思写作范文欣赏05Some conclude that college students should bear total expenses for their higher learning on the generalization that college graduates usually receive higher salaries for similar jobs than those without a college degree. We cannot deny that higher level of education, indeed, does associate with better income. Still, built on such fact alone, the conclusion remains questionable. The whole argument in question rests on an assumption that it is always the case that people with higher education make more money than those less well-educated. But salary or income is, in most cases, based on contributions made by employees to companies or organizations in which they work for. Statistics in the labor market indicate that people with professional training tend to find jobs easier than college graduates do and that blue-collar workers who do not hold college degrees are becoming the hot ties in thelabor market. Employers prefer to hire and pay more to highly skilled and specially trained people rather than fresh college graduates. In the auto industry, for instance, skilled technicians make two or three times more than their college educated counterparts who make the average salaries in other companies. And it is widely accepted that people’s i ncome is determined more by talent, hard work, and willingness to take risks than solely by certain qualifications such as college education. Otherwise, the unemployment rate of college graduates would not be increasing every year and the rule of supply and demand will lose much of power in controlling the labor market. Admittedly in some knowledge extensive field such as research, teaching, and practice of law the labor force are primarily consists of highly educated professionals. But such people make up only a fraction of the labor market and are thus unrepresentative of the whole employment in general. Considering the goal of education, we find that it is even more problematic for the country to throw all the responsibility of financing college educationto college students. The goal of higher education of a nation is to improve and strengthen the general level of intellectual and professional capacity of its labor force, thereby increasing the competency of the nation in the global economy. As tax payers, parents all contributes to the education system and country in various ways. It is only reasonable and necessary that the country gives some forms of financially assistance to students to ease the burden of rising education costs. Such help should go not only to students from needy or impoverished families but also to outstanding students from affluent backgrounds. Doing so can significantly boost the motivation of children from millions of families to engage in higher level of study. It is understandable that the general quality of people in a country will improve and its economy will benefit both now and in years toIf the burden of supporting children’s higher education is dumped on parents and students, thousands of brilliant students will be deprived of chances to pursue their academic inspiration. Among those who suffer would definitely be future great scientists, business managers, artists and statesmen. The loss will be disastrous and irreversible. In conclusion, the idea that students should also pay the full cost of their study is wrong and harmful because it is wrong to assume that higher education necessarily equalize high income. Moreover, it is in the best interest of a nation to take responsibility in financing college education so that the goal of higher education will be better met点击下载Word文档。

2012英语二作文范文

2012英语二作文范文

2012英语二作文范文Nowadays, the role of technology in education has become increasingly significant. With the advent of the internet, smartphones, and various educational software, the way welearn and teach is undergoing a transformation. In this essay, I will explore the positive and negative impacts oftechnology on education and propose some suggestions for optimizing its use.Firstly, one of the most notable benefits of technology in education is the accessibility it provides. Students can now access a wealth of information at their fingertips, which was unimaginable a few decades ago. Online courses andeducational platforms have made learning more flexible and convenient, allowing students to study at their own pace and from any location.Secondly, technology has made collaboration easier and more efficient. With tools like email, discussion forums, and collaborative documents, students can work together onprojects regardless of their physical location. This not only enhances the learning experience but also prepares studentsfor the globalized workforce where remote collaboration is often required. However, the integration of technology in education is not without its drawbacks. One concern is the potential for distraction. With the constant presence of smartphones andsocial media, it can be challenging for students to maintain focus during lessons. Additionally, the over-reliance on technology may lead to a decrease in critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as students may become accustomed to simply searching for answers online rather than engaging in deep thought and analysis. To harness the benefits of technology while mitigating its drawbacks, educators should strive to create a balanced learning environment. This can be achieved by incorporating technology into the curriculum thoughtfully, ensuring that it supports rather than replaces traditional teaching methods. For instance, teachers can use technology to supplement lectures with interactive content, such as videos and simulations, which can help students better understand complex concepts.Furthermore, schools should provide training and guidelines on how to use technology responsibly. This includes educating students about the importance of digital literacy and online safety, as well as setting clear expectations for appropriate use of technology during class time.In conclusion, technology has the potential to greatly enhance the educational experience when used wisely. By providing access to information, facilitating collaboration, and supplementing traditional teaching methods, technology can play a crucial role in shaping the future of education. However, it is imperative that educators and institutions remain vigilant about the potential pitfalls and workproactively to ensure that technology serves as a tool for learning rather than a distraction.。
