If you want to be a good supervisor or manager in the five- star hotel this following you must to have:
First you must have well-communication skill .Because in a five-star hotel we know the hotel is a big family there exist a lot of people from different countries different characters and also different regions. So if you don’t have a excellent communication skill. You can not solve the guests’problems very efficiency. So you also can not get on well with your partners and your colleagues. It can not guarantee team work go on well. So the hotel’profit will go down.so the well-communication skill is the most important.
Second you need have leading capacity and organizing capacity .if you don’t have leading capacity and organizing capacity you can not arrange the daily options, you can not assigning the daily work and arrange your subordinates or your staffs .and then you also need know how to transfer the staffs .how many people need work in the daily work when the team is lack of staffs .how to guarantee the department works well. When the big challenge is coming how to inspire your staffs how to make every staff have a fair treatment in the work and so on.
Third you need to have responsibility to your work .Good managers and supervisors they often have a strong responsibility to their work they always work very hard and have good work shills, they are not only responsible for the hotel options but only for the staffs’benefit. For their contribution hotel can work normally. So responsibility can make managers and supervisors play a very important roll in the daily work .
Last they must have a rich professional knowledge in the work .Good managers and supervisors often use the professional skills and knowledge to make their department in good condition. Moreover Elieen gives us a training frequently to make sure every staff knows more about hotel industry.
