There's just something magical about being able to take a blank piece of paper or canvas and create whatever you can imagine. With some pencils, paints, crayons or other art supplies, you can bring your ideas and dreams to life.In art class, we get to try out all different mediums and techniques. Sometimes we draw with pencils and learn about shading. Other times we paint with watercolors or acrylics. We've made clay sculptures, collages out of recycled materials, and so much more. I love how creative we can be in art and how there are no real rules or limits.My art teacher, Mrs. Miller, is really cool too. She always encourages us to experiment and think outside the box. I just find it so boring, frustrating and hard to understand sometimes. All those numbers, equations, word problems...it makes my head spin! Maybe I'm just not a math person.In math class, we have to solve all these complicated problems step-by-step. I get lost and confused really easily. Nomatter how many times I practice or how many examples the teacher shows us, a lot of the math concepts just don't click for me. I'll be working on a math worksheet feeling like I've got it, then BAM - I get stuck on one impossible problem and hit a total roadblock.Our math textbooks are so dry and boring too. Just page after page of numbers, shapes, graphs and tables. No pictures or anything fun or interesting at all! Math class in general feels more like some type of torture than actual learning to me. All we do is go over boring worksheets and take test after test after test. It's awful.I really struggle when it comes to memorizing all the different math formulas and rules we have to learn. My brain just doesn't seem to retain that kind of information very well. I can study math vocabulary or practice problems over and over, but then I freeze up when it's time for a quiz or exam. Maybe math just isn't my strong suit.That leads me to another reason why I dislike math so much - I'm not very good at it compared to other subjects. In reading, writing, science and most other classes, I'm an A or B student. But in math, even when I try my hardest, I only get C's or D's. It'sreally discouraging to see those low math grades when I put in so much effort.My math teachers over the years haven't been very encouraging or supportive either. A few of them have even made comments implying that I'm just not very smart when it comes to math. Those kinds of comments from teachers really damage your confidence and motivation as a student.Maybe if math involved more hands-on, creative activities it would hold my interest better. Math always seems so abstract and theoretical to me. I'm more of a visual, creative learner, so a subject like math with lots of rote memorization doesn't play to my strengths at all. I just find it unbearably dull.The only positive about math class is that my best friend Amy loves it and is really good at it. She's my go-to tutor whenever I'm struggling with a certain math skill or concept. Amy has helped me avoid failing math so many times! She's so patient and helps explain things in a way that I can finally understand. If it wasn't for Amy's assistance, I honestly might have just given up on math altogether.So in summary, art is my absolute favorite subject because I'm creative, I love the freedom of self-expression it allows, and I'm actually really talented at it. What subjects are more practical to learn nowadays?
I think the computer software-related courses are more practical. Because
nowadays, our daily life and daily work can never be separated from computers.
And if we can learn to use it wisely, it can really help us to save a lot of
time and energy. For example, when I write an essay, the reference part is
highly required by different formats. In that case, if I know how to use
computer software to automatically build the format, it can not only be
time-saving but also increase the accuracy. This may be just one example but
actually all software are useful and practical and deserve our attention.
Do you think all teachers should have entertaining teaching styles?
I don't think so. Just like every human being has his own personality,
every teacher should have his own style. It is necessary that teachers adjust
their teaching styles to make their classes more effective but that doesn't mean
the entertaining teaching styles are the only choices. If a teacher is really
bad at entertaining and he still entertains for the sake of entertaining, things
may totally go to the opposite. So I don't think all teachers should have
entertaining teaching styles.
Do you think learning many subjects is beneficial to your work?
I don't think so because what you've learned at school is not always useful
when you are at work. For example, I used to have art classes and if I'm going
to be a journalist then barely anything I learned in those classes will be used
in my job. So it is not the case that the more subjects you learn, the better. I
think what matters is the ability of learning. That will definitely be
beneficial to your work. .

subject is better?
I think learning many subjects at one time is better. But here I have a
premise. Those subjects should have some kind of link with each other. For
example, one can never learn math, philosophy and economics at the same time
because they belong to different systems. It is very
difficult to learn a couple
of things which are totally different. My point is under the same category, one
can learn as many subjects as possible. For example, a student can have English
literature, American literature and Japanese literature at the same time.
Learning only one subject may become boring while learning many subjects is more
interesting. One can compare and summarize and this method is good for the whole
learning process.。
