Students in my class want to be volunteers. Four special students, Nick,
Dave, John and Anna, set a great example for us through their outstanding
action. Nick is crazy about football, so he coached a soccer team for little kids.
Dave spent his time working in a zoo and fed the animals with patience and
love. Another person I respect most is John, who has persisted in taking care
of sick children for ten weekends. He said their sick faces always made him
feel like doing something for them. Anna has her own way to help others. She
is fond of singing; therefore she performed at the local theater to raise money
for charity. “Never have we got such warm feelings when we help others.” they
said in an interview. “Start volunteering today, only by doing this, can you put
your love to good use since there is no any excuse to put it off.”

Last week students in my class volunteered their time to help other people.
Nick is an energetic boy who loves soccer very much. He put this love to
good use by coaching a soccer team for little kids. Dave loves animals and he
fed the animals in the field. John went to the hospital to cheer the patients up.
He took many gifts to them in order to make them happay. Anna performed for
groups of the people at the hospital to make them happy.
All of them were happy because they helped people by using the way they
like. I think students should volunteer their time to do things like this. I hope
more people can join them to be volunteers and enjoy themselves.

I’m a middle school student. I want to be a volunteer to help people. I can’t deny（否认）that I have been attracted by the work named “volunteer” all the time. Considering how much experience and privilege（特权）I can get from this meaningful activity, I’m willing to visit Old People’s Home in seeking to help them to be happier. Being confident is my characteristic, thus I will communicate with old people with patience. Also I can cook for them as I ’m interested in cooking all the time.
Secondly, I’d like to clean up the city park. I love the attractive greenery(绿色植物), so I want to put this love to good use by working for the City Parks. I will spend Saturday morning cleaning up the park.
Obviously, not only can I help others but I can improve my abilities consequently as well.
